scammed my football club out of £1,200

ordered stuff back in JULY it is now January. Ignoring emails. I have gone via a small claims court and now put forward a CCJ. Next will be debt collectors.

If i could give a zero I would.
Scam! Please avoid and save your kids being upset. Promised it would be here just after Christmas. Followed by several automated messages. Now all emails etc are being ignored.

Absolute scammer!

You sent out the order just over 3 months after a whole load of BS about how it was being sent hand delivered after Christmas.
I told you not to send it, I didn't want it and it was declined at my door.

You owe people kits/money. Don't you think you need to see to them first.

Ordered a few bits for my son as a Christmas present at the beginning of November and we've still not received anything.

We were told 28 working days when the order was placed. I offered to pick my order up to make sure we had it for Christmas but was told we'd recieve it in time.

The owner David Burnett is now ignoring our messages.

Still no kit as of yet, not replying to emails Facebook messages or text messages.
When having emails back saying to have £50 credit to spend with them.
Some members asking for address to collect with no response. Some members having emails back with wrong names on them. Been promised delivery before Xmas, then it was as soon as it’s in he will hand deliver them. Now asking for a full team refund we are not having a reply. What a shocking company!!
Delivery should be 28 working days from purchase as it states on the website!

Like many previous reviewers before me I too have been SCAMMED by GB Sportwear.
Ordered full kits for a junior football team in November. Initially David was great, he responded immediately to emails regarding the order and designed the kits in such a quick time I was happy to proceed with them over others I had quotes from. BUT that is where positives end.
Once I had paid the lies started, I was informed the order would be rushed through as I wanted to give the kits out to the kids as Christmas presents but I still had nothing to show after the 28 day lead time mentioned on their website, after a few attempts to get hold of David (bearing in mind he had replied instantly before I had paid) he finally responded and informed me the 28 day lead time in the terms are working days and not total days...ok I thought fair enough. I waited until the 28 day mark but still no sign of my order. Again I attempted on numerous occasions to contact him to gain an explanation but all emails/calls/messages were ignored. He finally responded after I brought up some of the other reviews on here to tell me that some of the reviews are false and he is going legal on those individuals, he also mentioned my order was made and waiting to be sorted for delivery which would be done 4th January and sent on next day delivery. This again has not happened and now he will not respond at all.
Going legal with this tomorrow.

Terrible company/scammer. Placed and paid for £1,500 kit order for U15's village team in July'23 and had nothing but false promises since. David Burnett the owner is now totally ignoring emails, phone calls, texts and WhatsApp messages. Avoid at all costs!

Just had my order for my sons team. Kids absolutely love them and looking sharp in them. David went up and beyond for us. He’s not only a brilliant business man he’s a great friend who I’ve known for many years. He’s even kind enough to give me a hoodie free of charge for our team. Anyone who wants great quality kits for football teams or whatever please use GB Sportswear.

Really impressed with the service from David at GB Sportswear. I asked for two football kits to be designed and put together in 3 weeks before my football team was due to play in a football tournament, the kits were of a high quality, really pleased with the designs it was way above our expectations, they came on time and David even went above and beyond with deliveries to make sure we were looking the part. The kids are extremely happy and we’re now in the process of ordering work training equipment to go with it. I would highly recommend to anyone to use GB Sportswear.

Brilliant experience, always kept me informed, and the full kit come earlier than expected even though I know he was doing other age groups from my local team. Will use again next year 100%.

Ordered new kit for our running group, fantastic design and colours done by David and all orders received on time. David has been so helpful and patient with everything. Would highly recommend as all members who ordered kit loved them.

Ordered reversible shirts for two teams. They looked amazing when we gave them to the players. I was kept up to date with how the order was progressing, and had delivery arranged when I couldn't collect.

Do not use this company. Orders not fulfilled and parents had to make claims on credit cards and via PayPal. Months of chasing and false promises by David. Shocking, avoid at all costs

Avoid. I wouldn’t order with this company again if it were free, customer service below standard and the kit quality is not great at all.
I can assure that most of the reviews on this page are fake aswell.

Steer clear. We were ripped off by this guy. Given substandard kit with awful printing. Refused a refund so he's now got a CCJ against him. Still hasn't paid. We're not the only grassroots club he's ripped off, this man has no shame.

Ordered new reversible kit from David , David said he was having issues with the supplier , But kept in contacted with us all the way , David then phoned to say the kit was in and ready to be dispatch to us , as i was coming home the next day from work as was passing David , i asked if we could pick up from him ,so the boys could have to play on the saturday , The kit was just amazing ,the quality was out of this world . Also as a thank you David said he would do the boys a t-shirt as a sorry for wait .

AVOID AT ALL COST
I have previously reviewed this company and won’t be adding anything more positive in this one. Just to say that we’re almost 6 months on from my order being placed and still I’ve received nothing. Following my last review, I was actually contacted by David who made more promises, but they were empty as usual. What amazes me is the fact that he can’t even lie consistently and completely contradicts himself from one message to another.

I’ve noticed that he’s started really pushing the company out again on Social Media, which is laughable because he can’t even fulfil the orders that he’s already got. Or is it the case that my money and that of all the other people still waiting for their orders, is funding the large orders that will give him the good reviews on Social Media? In my opinion he is nothing but a con artist who is swindling innocent people out of their money.

Placed an order 3 weeks ago for 100 kits and some coaches packs for my club. Collected them from David this week! Best kits, service and lead time I’ve ever experienced. Can’t see us using anyone else again and will be ordering now for the remaining age groups! Over the moon!

Ordered kits for my club 2 weeks ago. Was told 28 working days for them to be done, so was in complete shock when I had a call today from David who said he will drop them off this afternoon! Just got them and they are incredible!
Read some reviews on here and I’m baffled by them as it’s honestly not the experience I’ve had! Amazing service from start to finish! Would recommend to anyone!

What a fantastic company, made a custom order of rugby jerseys, they were delivered very fast and without any fuss, highly recommend using them.

The most INCOMPETENT company I have ever worked with. David is a con artist! You will wait MONTHS for your kit as he does not pay the manufacturer on time. You get lie after lie after lie and then eventually No response from him at all. Professional scammer!

AVOID!!

Save yourself the time , money and stress and just use anybody else.
