Scam like telling me their Fuelman card is valid everywhere yet it's basically only at Chevron/Mobil in
Southern California and both of these Gas providers average 60-90 cents PER GALLON higher.
SERVICE ("LACK OF") by my Sales Rep. Doug and his Regional Manager Cliff has been the LOWEST LEVEL POSSBILE as zero returned direct to Doug & Cliff voice & emails and even to the Corporate Office "so it's accross the board ZERO RESPECT for the Customer" who in this case was to be one of their new 17-Vehicle Account.
Even though I've never finalized setting up my acct. with vehicles and drivers due to the poor list of stations, I'm being invoiced now for month two (Dec. 2023 & Jan. 2024) even though I called to decline their "approved credit line offer" in November 2023 with "the Fuelman card won't work as not versatile enough, set up the VISA option so my drivers can go anywhere". NEVER HEARD BACK FROM THEM AFTER MY HALF DOZEN ATTEMPTS TO REACH THEM SO BEWARE....

I wish I would have read the review before getting card they charge ridiculous late fee charges 155 on less then 500 for less then 15 days late, they make it impossible to set up auto payment then charged 200 late fee again. Please run horrible business and only wants to screw you. No reminder, no autopayment what is a busy business owner to do by get screwed by this company. Know I know why this guy chased me so hard to sign up!

If I could give a ZERO score I would. This company will steal your money, time, and energy dealing with them. There online system is very misleading. When you log into your account the user interface is very deceiving. You have some functionality but the billing system is terrible. They will fool you by giving a high limit, then reduce it 90%. You cannot make auto payments unless you download a form, fill it out, scan it, then email it to them for processing. This is 2024, why can't auto payment work better. It you are late "1" day, they will switch your account to bi-monthly billing. As a business owner, this does not make sense for a gas card. Their customer service is clueless and useless. AVOID THIS COMPANY!

I was a Fuelman customer for 2 years. I was well aware of all the fees that Fuelman applies to customers accounts. In order to avoid these fees, I always paid my bill in advance with the exception of one time. Since I paid my bills before they were due and invoiced I always had a running credit on my account. I went into my account this past spring and it showed no payment was due as I had credits on my account. I was questioning this, so I took a screen shot of my account's balance and e-mailed it to their customer service e-mail address. I never received an e-mail back. Then I called Fuelman. Some of their customer service team is based overseas with limited english skills. I showed them the screen shot of my account where the balance was $0. They did admit it was an error on their end and corrected it. Then I get hit with a "risk based" fee and some other fees as a result of their error. This time it was difficult to get these fees removed. I would not recommend Fuelman to anyone. In my opinion they are not customer centric.
Fuelman is very confusing when credits are on our account. It's also very hard to decipher in their online portal the actual price you paid for gas each time.

I have been running a business for 20 years with an 800+ credit score. It is the worst Credit Card Company and customer service I have ever dealt with in my career. They make it super complicated to set up auto pay. One person will tell you it's done, and a month later, you get all kinds of late fees, and someone else says it's never set up. Along with a $500+ high-risk fee!!! Check your statements and spend hours on the phone every month, or get robbed. The website is so frustrating. I would not recommend this to anyone who is trying to simplify their business. There have been lots of other problems. Finally, throwing in the hat and giving up on hoping that they will get better.

Trucking companies please stay away from this company. I have been using Fuelman since 2018 and all of a sudden now I am noticing on every one of my statements charges for $500 - $600 every time. That adds up to over $lk a month extra I'm paying. It says subject to level two pricing. I noticed it once before and called in and was told its according to your credit score. I look back at statements when I was at 740 and still it was on there. This is definitely my last week getting ripped off.

I'll tell you what's wrong. $25/a month Fee $300 a year Subpar app always have trouble logging in. Very small check at the bottom of the payment center page. Easy to miss will make you Miss A payment After going through all the steps to submit it properly. Change of your net payment timeline out of the blue I was changed from a net 30 to a net 7 so 6 days from the date of your purchase, you will owe the money in addition to the 25 a month and if you Miss A payment, there is a $99 late fee. Attached that was initially 75, but also was changed recently Not to mention. Ask the representative if they could remove the late fee. Since this was one time in 2 years an a log in era with the app!! She informed me the only way to remove The $99 late fee is to sign up for the plus package. Which cost $40 a month? So one way or another, be prepared to be scammed.So Make sure to use auto pay. And be ready to be robbed at some point by the company.

All owner operators stay away from this company. i am saying from my experience. Every time i call they will give diffrent amount . i fuled for $1300 customer serivce called me and said i have $3000 balance. after
two weeks another guy called me and said i have $4000 balance. When i told guy i didn"t use your for card last two weeks immediately he hang up. Don"t use fuel card its a scam.

Fuelman’s customer service has never been that great. There is also NO GRACE with them for 1 late payment on the account in 6 YEARS of being a customer, not to mention the payment was only 1 DAY passed the due date. I’m not even refuting the late fee. I would just like the opportunity to pursue a credit limit increase - that is the whole reason the payment was late in the first place. Our fleet has grown and we are using our credit more quickly within the month than we used to, resulting in having to check the account multiple times per month to make mid-cycle payments so that our drivers don’t get stuck unable to fuel up in a timely manner. I don’t think we have ever in the history of the account requested a credit limit increase, and the thought occurred to me to look into it. I’m looking for the service to be easier to use, but Fuelman apparently does not want our business - a growing business adding additional vehicles each year. I have had better grace with credit card companies than with Fuelman. I would not recommend their services, there must be better options out there.

I recently went to Firestone to get a fleet vehicle serviced for my business. Unfortunately, I did not receive the service and was still charged $1,200 for a service I did not receive. Despite my attempts to resolve the issue, it took 2 months for Fuelman to sort out the problem. I highly recommend avoiding Fuelman and choosing another fleet card provider for your fleet vehicle needs.
What was your experience with Firestone when you attempted to resolve the issue?

BEWARE!!!! PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE YOU SIGN UP!! We are a Vetran-owned subcontractor operating in Idaho and surrounding states with a decent-sized fleet of vehicles and equipment. We have had problems with Fuelman from day one. It takes 10 minutes to verify my account each time I would have to call in which is a lot! I had tried to use their maintenance service but when I did my guys would spend up to three hours trying to get the transactions processed until I finally had to use our company card. The operators are mostly from India. They speak fast broken English and are extremely rude to our vendors, myself, and my employees. They have even hung up on me, Vendors and employees trying to get help to pay for their transactions. This is only the beginning of the problems!!! During a period of less than 6 months, they started adding late fees to our account along with outrageous interest charges, undisclosed fees, etc. I was charged a total of $14,512.18 in late fees in five months! That's just the late fees! We paid the account off in full at the end of August and had a credit for overpayment for the entire month of September. When I requested a check for the overpayment they sent me an invoice the next week and added charges from June and July to cancel out the credit (those invoices were already paid) Then they decided to add a weekly risk payment of $10.50 so instead of issuing the credit to us they found another fee to screw us with! As if they haven't already taken enough from us. After reading many reviews this is common practice for Fuelman! It's time to contact legal over this. I encourage others to do the same unless Fuelman does the right thing and refunds all their egregious fees!

I couldn't believe my fuel bills were rising as much as they were. Then I realized we were getting the invoices late every month and paying late because of this. Then I saw the usurious fees being charged and couldn't believe this could be legal. This company is not in business to help reduce your fuel costs. It's in business to make a fortune on the late fees and other unidentifiable charges. They have billed me late fees of over $900.00 and over $800.00 which were almost half of what I should have been paying for the fuel. STEER CLEAR OF THIS CROOKED PLACE.

Having never bought a single gallon of fuel using their cards, due to their inability to even get truck numbers correct, I am canceling. The account representative Craig Berdahl is one of the most UNPROFFESIONAL reps I have ever dealt with. When you call me at 8pm on a Saturday night, someone had better be dead. Not trying to upsell me on more products.
I told Customer service to remove him as my account rep, and they said they were unable to, and that I would have to call Craig himself. I asked for his supervisor, who is only availble to employees, and was told he would contact me. Still waiting on that to happen. Been on hold now for 26 minutes waiting on my cancelation confirmation number.
USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!
