The Forever Young Festival is the best weekend of the year 2023 was my third time attending ...incredible music and a fantastic atmosphere. The lineup of artists is just the best each year .The festival grounds are well-organized, allowing for great view of the two stages at all times. Sound quality was exceptional, allowing the croud to hear the music no matter where in venue you are. I love the silent disco.. its the best fun and well organised. The highlights of the festival for me is def the music... just fantastic. I have met some wonderful people through the festival and we meet each year and its wonderful.. the campsite is just lovely. I cannot praise Sharon and her team for all the work they do to bring a most amazing weekend for us all.. i could write and write positive things but all i can say is...Roll on 2024 From Helen Gunning. Forever young festival 2023 was my first festival in too many years to note! Some might say what a start as the weather was only brutal and the mudfest that it turned into was well publishized. However, hand on heart I have to say it was one of the best weekends I've ever had! The music, the comradary amongst everyone there, even the muck - nothing will ever match it - the craic was only pure mighty! Only negative comment I will make is the distance between all the port a loos but that may have been to do with the mud. I'm only gutted that I might not make this year's....

Brilliant festival. Fantastic atmosphere. Really well organised. Shame about the weather last year, but what can you do about Irish summers? Responsive organisers. Roll on Fyf 24 ❤️

Forever young festival is always brilliant every year. They had a pain this year with the weather and had to hold back numbers on the Saturday because of the health and safety recommendations and I was one of them but I totally understand that these things happen and that's life. They have been great at letting everyone know about refunds and rolling over to next year on their official page but unfortunately they have had so many attacking them verbally which is very unfair. Sharon is brilliant and always goes above and beyond. Can't wait for 2024 it will be epic as always. Well done Sharon and team don't let the negativity get to you. Always will be someone trying to bring everything down but they certainly don't represent the majority who know how hard you work to bring us the best of the 80s .

We absolutely loved the foreveryoung festival it was like going back to the 80s the acts were all excellent there were tribute bands that were even better then the top acts everyone was dressed up in an 80s vibe the atmosphere was electric and everyone was so friendly as well as staff roll on 2024

I have been at all FY festivals since the start, amazing athmosphere, amazing bands and acts, people so friendly, absolutely there for the fun, felt safe, felt secure and wouldnt miss it!! For thoes who say food and drink were expensive, show me a venue that isn't?? Including Temple bar, 3 arena, bord gais theatre to name a few!! At least the FY is well kept, and clean and the entertainment is amazing. Well done Sharon and Team roll on 2024. 💕👏

This festival is honestly the best fun and craic you'll ever have. It's so laid back and well run even when the weather doesn't play ball.

The lineup of artists was impressive, featuring an array of legendary performers .The festival grounds were well-organized, allowing for easy navigation between the two stages and ample space for crowds to gather. The sound quality was exceptional, allowing the audience to fully immerse themselves in the music. The highlight of the festival was undoubtedly the performances, which were energetic, engaging, and truly unforgettable. The festival-goers were friendly and the overall ambiance was electric.Overall, the Forever Young Festival was a fantastic event that catered to music lovers of all ages, leaving attendees with a sense of joy and nostalgia. Absolute sham of an organisation weather cant be helped but was forecast the mon before and i know of people who were actually allowed in on the sat after they were told they couldnt. We cancelled all our plans then for sunday as wasnt going to let it cost us more money only to be told refunds for sat only which were still waiting for. Customer service is generic email response and from what i here many a lawsuit being filed so wouldnt bet on Forever Robbed 24 going ahead , avoid like the plauge
As of 11th Dec still no refunds or contacts and flurry of positive reviews here are plants and make this platform void unfortunately
Now have emailed a scam to take your money via buying shares in event at 1k each do not go near this people please do not loose your money

I will never attend this festival ever again, still waiting on refunds for the cancelation on the Saturday and still no sign, treating us disgracefully.

Still no refunds, absolutely disgraceful….delete all negative comments on social media. No contact or replies from them.

Absolutely hate giving a bad review for an event that is for a charity that i whole heartily support. However after cancellation of our Saturday ticket with very short notice. Was outside the venue and turned away. Having driven up from cork that morning. As we were driving we'd not seen the email or social media announcement. Given three options. Attend sunday (which had similar weather conditions) ticket roll over for following year or refund. We made the choice for refund. (Which is minus 15% admin fee) Was informed that it would be within 3 months. Day after the 3 month time limit get an email to say another 3 to 6 weeks. Communication has been awful. And any discussions on the matter get deleted on the official face book .
Hopefully we will receive our refunds, three tickets . But as a forever young past attendee i will not be buying tickets in the future.

Festival is completely untrustworthy. They prevented Saturday ticket holders from entering and were told we would be refunded. Then told it would be 3 months to get refund and deducting 15% for admin (even though Fienta refunding!). refund was due by Oct 15th, got email on 16th Oct to say it was going to take another 3-6 weeks before processing would happen, just not good enough Forever Young!!

Had tickets for 2nd day of festival. Cancelled last minute. Had bus tickets, event tickets and because of rain on the day had purchased car parking. All in all for 2 of us out of pocket 350 euro. Event was in July and have not seen 1 cent back so far. They have it that you can't comment on Facebook. Messages deleted elsewhere. All you get is changes in story when will receive refund. Within 3 months, after 3 months and now another 3/6 weeks. Just keep sending out sob stories about what's happened. Absolute joke stay clear from this place.

Would give no stars if I could.Where do I start.Travelled over from the UK.Stayed in hotel.It rained on the Friday but everything fine.Used our VIP upgrade and bought merchandise, t-shirt,programme.Excited for the weekend!On the Saturday weekend only tickets and day tickets were told in an e mail NOT to attend due to the weather conditions.Only camping and those if forever young specific hotels were allowed to attend.Told that we would get a refund or tickets for next year.Everyone was told they could attend on Sunday which was exactly the same weather conditions.Since then we filled out our refund notice then no communication other than on social media that we would have to wait 3 months for a full refund.Well here we are 3 months later.Already out of pocket for travel and hotel merchandise.Disappointed at being told safety comes first and missing out while people were still attending.( it's either safe or not)!.But then to not even be refunded for Saturdays ticket and VIP is a kick in the teeth when you work hard for your money. Give it a wide berth.Rewind far better organised and it's where all us will be at next year!!

Well what can you say about the worst festival I have ever been to? I mean I have experienced some dodgy ones in the past, but this beats them all. Main day cancelled for most of us because of heavy rain that had been warned about on my phone for a week!

You can't post any negative comments on their FB page, it gets deleted and any response is full of indignation from the organisers.

They "cancelled" Saturday for all except those that paid them for camping and hotels (methinks they had no insurance for that part of the festival). So those that paid for their own hotel AND VIP lost out because of the beancounters wanting to limit losses.

All we get is Sharon being pathetic and not once was a proper apology made, not even a "We screwed up guys, I promise it will not happen again!"

Further more, it's been 3 months and no sign of any refund. No contact via email (excuses being made there as well).

Come on Sharon and co, tell everyone how much you're refunding and cough up, you've had plenty of time.

The good news is, I've realised how good our UK 80s festivals are and will remain there from now on.

Had there been some better comunication and organisation I would have gladly crossed the sea again...

Latest update, invest 1000 euros in the festival. Even though they've admitted to not making any profits or giving to charity. DON'T DO IT!!!

This festival is completely untrustworthy. They prevented Saturday ticket holders from entering and offered a refund. In early September they still have not issued the refunds and seem to be moving the goalposts. I wouldn’t give these guys any money ever again! To make matters worse they have instigated a new 15% admin fee.

looked forward to this event ,have gone since the begining ,it was so obvious that the organisers got so wrong
with walk ways ,camping area,showers, toilets ,if you had bought the vip tickets ,you probably didnt notice as much,they made the effort with sawdust to mop up their areas,a lot of weekend campers had enough by sunday ,the amount of vans leaving unreal ,and for the heineken tents, making a bad situation worse ripping of anyone who didnt present a cup, to charge 5 euros
more ,shame on you.. expensive enough at 8 euros a pint,on the positive side ,the bands, made the effort
and now if you want a refund for saturday. for the no entry, youll have to loose 15% of you purchase price,
aaaaaaaaa,enough

So looking forward to attending the Forever Young Festival after flying into Ireland especially for it from Spain and unfortunately the website leaves alot to be desired. Still dont know what time each artist is on stage or plan of carparks etc. Hope the day is worth the flight etc.

Zeer slechte ervaring met het lid zijn van de Club van Foreveryoung -
n.m.l. 2 weken voor aanvang van het festival voor 65+ werd het afgelast.
Nu was ik en mijn echtgenote lid geworden van de Club voor
€37,50 met de kaarten voor het festival t.w.v. € 25,00 (2x€ 12,50 p/krt)
Wat blijkt nu, de mensen die enkel de kaarten voor het festival hebben gekocht, die worden vergoedt, maar de Club-leden krijgen geen cent terug!
Zij lokken de mensen om lid te worden met zgn gratis kaarten voor het festival, maar vergoeden voor Club-leden de entree-kaarten niet!
En dan 2 weken vtv het festival af te gelasten!
Zeer slechte zaak, om 65+ mensen te duperen!!!!!!!!
