I asked if they do bird mites, yes was the answer, $397 and an additional charge of $197 for a treatment of bed bugs, which I didn't have. On a daily basis, I'm Still getting bitten badly. Have had to go on antibiotics after one night of being bitten head to toe. On last scheduled visit, because I took too long getting to the door( I at the time I had no cartilage in my hips, so moving was an issue) the tech had to leave, but not before he noticed the bites mites on the balcony that leads to my front door. He said I have to go, shall get the office to reschedule and I'll have a look around the building for bird nest. The call didn't happen, when I called to make the booking,the guy I spoke to kept going to his manager the conversation went from you have to move the clutter( which I had done), a wooden chest on wheels and two boxes on top, to it has to be completely removed,l, the manager final say, nothing wrong with the spray the infestation is in the clutter there nothing we can do and that was that. And when I asked for the 2 receipts, the first one has fleas down as the insects treated, don't they realise I got a service report that says insect to be treated: bird mites, bed bug treatment done

I entered into a 12 month home protection plan. After 12 months, no contact from Flick and I didn't contact them for further pest treatment. Did the monthly direct debit stop. Of course not. When I contacted them I was told I had to give 30 days notice to terminate contract (this is in their terms and conditions). My response, how can you continue to charge someone, when their is no longer a contract. Neither party, myself or Flick made contact to have a new yearly pest service. Now 2 months later, and my credit card still being debited each month. I have now been assured I will receive refund next week. Although I did have to send thru my statement showing these transactions. I did say, surely you can see these transactions in your own bank account without me having to produce my statements. Fingers crossed I will see refund next Thursday.

They intentionally make plans confusing to charge you extra. I have been with them for 4-5 years, and when I tried to cancel, I was told my addon plan lasts 30 months whereas the original plan has a 1-month notice. Can you see how silly this is? They also said they'll charge me an additional $250 for an addon I never signed up for.

We have been on a monthly contract since February 2025. Many months have passed, and we still have rats running around the house. Flick does not seem to be able to get rid of them; the rats did not even eat any of the baits. When we ask for help Flick is too slow to respond or does not respond unless we call or email them many times.

We are working at VMCH Bulleen house.
Flick's hygiene/Anticimex team suppose to empty/replace our waste bins every week.
Fore more than 2 months this schedule is not supported and we are overfilled with dirty, smelled bins for days. Every week we have to call flick, but they are not too responsive. Last time yesterday, 23-May, I've called and the hygiene team representative was busy on the phone. and I've been told that they will call me back.
Of course, no one called us back.
Unfortunately, with our current experience, we can not recommend anyone to use Flick's service.

Benjamin Goodsell technician did a thorough and great job. He explained what needed to be done and then did it quickly and efficiently. Hope he continues to look after my property as it's in good hands.

Total failure to deliver service sold ($50/month Flick SMART), impossible to contact despite numerous attempts/messages left AND my house remains infested with mice 4 months after signing up. First service and installation of SMART, technician was good, polite, helpful (and the only person from flick who has responded to me - i had his mobile number from history first visit). I missed one call after this to arrange follow up visit and since then impossible to contact. Initially the mice improved but never went away completely, finished the bait before this. Profuse mouse droppings and urine continue in my kitchen, including in the cupboard where one sensor is and i have seen mice literally run past the other one, even in the last 2 days. It is plugged in and the (one, original) helpful technician who did respond checked online and reported it showed it was on but not detected activity (ie the system itself clearly doesn’t work). Not only this but, as others, with this failing my numerous attempts to contact flick (phone calls - never answered, despite staying in queue, sends to voicemail but these never responded to; no email contact other than for quotes - which i also tried but no response. I finally got to speak to someone 2 weeks ago (only at 2nd prompting by original technician - not his job to do) i was offered an appointment next week as first available (requiring 1/2 day off work). The worst part of all this is having to constantly clean copious rat droppings and urine in my kitchen (and elsewhere), to the point where I am basically afraid to cook in my kitchen due to the hygiene hazard and the helplessness in getting this addressed by flick, who sold me a service supposedly to make pest control convenient and easy, when it is quite the opposite, but i am still paying for monthly. I just want to cancel my subscription and arrange pest control myself - which, in reality, would be infinitely easier, considerably cheaper and allow me to live in hygienic circumstances. I never write reviews but flick has been so appallingly bad i hope that it saves someone else from making the same mistake as me.

SO FRUSTRATED. When I wanted to cancel the subscription with Flick, they started to ignore my cancelation email and continued to withdrawn my money for over 2 months now. I'm going to call my bank to dispute their unauthorised charges.

Absloutly disgusting and appalling service. Numerous phone calls to come out and re spray just over two months later. They were really quick to take my money. Took two days of work leave with out pay yet they didn't turn up. Emails upon emails and no reply. I rang again today i was told it would be another two weeks before they could reply. Im not letting this go. I want a refund

Similar to other reviewers, Flick misrepresented the service and then proved impossible to contact to make appointments. We’re paying for nothing. They take the monthly direct debit but I can’t get in touch to book any appointments. I have had difficulties getting an appointment for the last 2 months. It is appalling service and I plan to return to my old provider who was marginally more expensive but infinitely better value.
Mis-sold treatment, technician completed half what he was paid to do. Said he’d arrange to come back. Repeatedly called Flick, they never came back to complete the treatment.
The beautiful smile on his face was welcoming. Andrew contacted me beforehand of his arrival. He began his job outside and I noted he was very methodic and thorough. Similarly, indoors and roof space were attended to in the same fashion. He skipped nothing. He answered my queries and was very obliging. I didn't mind having my house pest sprayed. It's always a bit of a personal experience for me. He left as he arrived, a great smile!
Got these guys out for a cockroach issue a few weeks back.
Haven’t seen one since.

I personally probably won't stay with Flick or recommend them. I've made appts two weeks in advance and they've just not showed up at all or with the incorrect equipment for the job which is unprofessional. The person who didn't have the right ladder for the job also made me sign a form that he did all he could with what he had. Basically a waver form that he didn't do his job. A waste of time to come home early for the appt.
The person on the phone today I could hardly hear on a bad line and tried to explain there was msgs left yesterday and they called in yesterday, which is a lie as no msgs or calls were left. Also he tried to blame me for booking the wrong date afterwards.
It's probably not good for ppl who work normal trading weeks as they dont have great hour slots to fit you in. You have to leave early to get in.
