Fiona was very helpful in making my choice. She is very knowledgeable about the products on sale there and that was reassuring. The bed was actually delivered before the time stated. I would recommend this bed centre without hesitation

We were served by a very pleasant young sales lady, who was very knowledgable on what we were looking for, in fact the purchase took very little time to complete, thats’s how efficient the sales lady.
We were quoted approx 2 weeks for delivery, in fact it was delivered in 10 day and the old mattress was also removed by 2 pleasant delivery guys.
All in all, I definitely recommend Fitzgerald Bed Centre for quality of service, selection of beds etc, plus they were very competitive on price.

Initially the gentleman working in the shop was helpful and very pleasant. The bed was delivered in time and the two gentleman that came did a splendid job. They removed the old bed and mattress, assembled the new, removed all packaging and picked up bits in about 30 minutes, a very professional job

After a frantic phone call at 9am and needing a new mattress urgently Fiona was incredibly helpful. She listened to my requirements, understand the safety aspects of cabin beds and directed me to the website to view my options. Once selected she went above and beyond to get same day delivery and removal of the old mattress.
Delivery guys were prompt very friendly.

We visited Stamford store on Thursday to enquire about a new mattress. We dealt with Fiona who was very knowledgeable and discussed at length the various options available. Nothing was too much trouble and she was able to answer all of our questions with none of the hard sell experienced with many of the bigger chain stores. Would highly recommend this store and Fiona.

Absolutely disgusted with the aftercare we’ve received. We purchased a mattress from here beginning of December 2024 after 3 months we’ve had to complain as the mattress has dipped and bobbled up to be told that this is normal wear and tear!!! I should have been turning,rotating and flipping the mattress weekly.? Will not be buying from you again neither would I recommend to anyone! Pity I can’t upload photos then ppl will see for themselves!

Have always had beds from Fitzgeralds and had some furniture. Always great quality and a quick turn around with delivery. Friendly staff and easy ways to pay with online.

A fantastic experience from start to finish. We decided to get a new mattress in the new year so popped into the local shop in Stamford. We got a warm welcome from Fiona who works there who showed us around and then gave us space to see which ones we liked. When we picked she helped us out with the sizing and arranged a very speedy delivery (2 working days!) which also included picking up our old mattress.

Today it was delivered by a couple of lovely chaps who called half an hour before due, and I’m pleased to say it’s as comfy at home as it was in the store.

All in all a great shopping experience - thanks Fiona!

There was a problem getting the ordered bed up my stairs. I cannot fault the delivery people at all who were extremely helpful and tried very hard to get the bed to the preferred room. It was looking impossible so I spoke to manager of Bourne store about returning the bed for a side opening model that would fit only to be told that they could not accept it back as it was a custom order. This was per their Ts & Cs. I pointed out that I had not been given the opportunity to review these ts & cs prior to placing and paying for the order and thus they were unenforceable as it is a requirement of the sales of goods act that the purchaser is advised of terms before making the commitment. however the manager would not budge. Ultimately I took a saw to the stairs to enable the bed to be delivered. Great bed, great service from the deliverers but very poor attitude and total lack of customer service from the manager. I will never buy from them again.
