This app is so frustrating. Constantly blank when it's needed !!!
I have tried everything from uninstall to re install. Really stressful.

Have not used first choice for a number of years but very impressed with the ease of booking this holiday

We had looked at the hotels overall rating on trip adviser ,and not the detailed reviews, overall it’s very misleading.

BEWARE do not believe all the positive reviews ,as apparently if you dig deeper some of them are made up by the staff.
booked a superior junior suite with terrace (a basic small balcony) superior it is not.
The rooms are very dated ,and not what we expected to walk into on a Caribbean holiday, we demanded to change rooms the next morning, as floor tiles were loose, not enough electrical sockets, shabby interior and basically a very dated look, balcony floods when it rains (no drain outlet) the large round bath had been painted many times and looked shabby, no kettle just a coffee machine and no milk.
no information was given at check in as to amenities ,and no information or info book in room.
the alternate room was not much better, the option we was given was to upgrade to a more expensive alterative.

don’t be sold that this is an adults only resort, yes there is a separate part with its own buffet style restaurant, but then you have to go to some of the family side to use most of the restaurants ,which most of the time are fully booked.
on one night a lot of guests and ourselves were dancing to music, which was then abruptly stopped at 11pm ,(guests were not happy) to us this was likened to being treated like children and being told to stop enjoying ourselves.
also don't be fooled that there is a disco on site ,this is located on the family side and is only a sports bar that looks like a games room, which shuts at 12pm
family side is chaotic and feels like it is oversold.

beach is full of seaweed ,and not like the exotic pictures that are shown on first choice website.
in fact most of the pictures are obviously stock photographs of when first opened.


If you are not awake before 5AM to throw a towel or clothing on a lounger or chair by the pool, you will have nowhere to lie or sit.
tipping is essential ,if you want to get some service, but don't expect to get any Bureau de Change at reception as this has to be booked in advance.

Value for money not worthy 5 star resort. Restaurants very poor in diversity and quality of food not the best, Food I would rate 4/10
breakfast in the buffet of a morning is very lackluster, most mornings there was no butter available and toasters are a waste of time.

Soft drinks, likewise, they serve you bottles that you don’t even know when they are open, all without gas.
one choice of beer available ,which is not great.

Overall, this experience was deeply frustrating and far below expectations.

We booked this holiday expecting an adults-only hotel, which, to be fair, the main hotel is. However, what was not disclosed at the time of booking is that for some of your evening meals, you are required to dine at the sister family hotel next door.

The booking of the holiday was easy enough, but I felt ripped off when booking my flights. The prices changed drastically in the few hours from speaking to the agent and then kept going up.

I looked to book our holiday on the TUI site then the First Choice site.
I discovered that although you pay extra for luggage and transfers with First Choice the total cost of the holiday came to £200 cheaper than TUI for exactly the same holiday and the same flights.

Great choice of flight times, hotels and price was just right

Hi very helpful and went to alot of trouble respect I would need assistance at airports due to unable to manage steps because metal plates my feet and went through questions my disabilities so that airline would know what help I would need and down to which seat would be better I said outside aisle seat .I wanted half board but all had gone for those dates but after being on line booking she found one for me half board and at a good price cheaper than another company by about £400 !!.

False advertising.
Have tried to book several times and after pressing continue with no added extras the price increases substantially. I thought the price you see should be the price you pay. They have no email address to send your proof to and how can you explain what you have seen on the phone, I had took photos of the proof at what the holiday was advertised at.

Straight forward.

Good prices and you dont have to pay for cases if you dont need them

Booked our holiday over the phone through first choice and then several months later I noticed the wrong room type was given to us. We paid for a swim up suite and were given just a swim up room. Conveniently my telephone call recording has been lost and first choice are not prepared to do anything for us apart from giving a full refund back which to me is not acceptable due to other reasons. ABTA Now involved but first choice still very reluctant to do anything, hence this review. Hoping this review will make them act appropriately and provide us what we paid for

We stayed for 11 nights at Riu Palace Bavaro and everything went very smoothly from start to finish. The experience was extremely well organised and completely hassle-free. The cleanliness was outstanding, the staff were exceptional, and the facilities were truly amazing. The value for money was excellent for what was offered, and overall the experience was absolutely worth the price. We will definitely book future holidays again with First Choice Holidays and highly recommend this company.

Second year booking a holiday through First Choice. Great choice and competitively priced. Good app and service for the lead up to and whilst on holiday.

It was easy to book online

Easy at least I found it easy and I’m not a person who normally books a holiday on the internet instructions and step by step guide was very helpful and understanding

The site was very ease to use, the options were easy to find and booking the holiday was effortless

First Choice were brilliant from start to finish with every aspect of our holiday.

So easy to book our holiday with first choice a great choice!

Booked, easy to use, didn’t experience any price rises during the booking unlike some agent’s websites. Simple.
