It's not that their customer service is bad. It's no existent! There are no employees dedicated to helping you. No one to measure your feet even!

If there were signs telling anyone WHERE men's shoes are, I didn't see them!

I walked around a huge store until my antique hip began to hurt, walked out, went home to write this review.

Terrible Company Avoid Buying from them. Suppose to get my Order July10th Never Arrived July 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th still Never Got My Order. Famous Footwear is a Terrible Company Never Respond To an E- Mail totally ignore you. Don't buy from this Garbage Company there the worst.

They are HORRIBLE! They ALWAYS SEEM TO LOOSE MY PACKAGES! ***THIS IS THE 3rd time*** Customer service didn’t even offer a compensation. Then the fact that you have to wait over a week for your money is ridiculous!

I ordered a pair of shoes on 6/13/25 and within minutes my order was canceled
Ok no problem.BUT I had $30.00 in rewards that I used for the order ,the next day I called them to see if they were going to put it back on my account. They said it would be back on my account in 24 hours . It has been 6 days and I've contacted them a total of 3xs and no one will respond and my rewards are still not on my account!! Not to mention the girls at the lorain Ohio store are rude as hell ,they would rather communicate between each other ,then to help a customer!

The most horrible experience store #2074 refused to return a pair of shoes I purchased for my 86 yr old grandmother simply because they didn’t want too even with my receipt they told me they reserve the right to not return it mind you I have my receipt and we had the shoes less than 4 hours associate #252662 she simply didn’t want to help me. I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN . I will also use my word of mouth to let everyone know this isn’t a place to buy shoes

I purchased a pair of Nike Airmax sneakers from Famous footwear online towards the end of April 2025. The order was cancelled for no apparent reason and up to this day of June 6 2025, FAMOUS FOOTWEAR has not refunded back my money. Please do not do business with these crooks!!! Disgusting!!!

If I could put zero stars I would. I specifically asked for a XL Nike tech top and a M Nike tech pants. They said they would order those exact sizes.! When the package came in the mail what do you know I got XL Nike tech top. AND XL PANTs.! I DIDNT ASK FOR XL PANT. I don’t understand how you can get a simple task wrong, especially if you got hired just for that. And then I tried to text the expert or whatever on the footlocker text and guess what no response. I guess they were too embarrassed to even answer. I will not be shopping at the park city footlocker any more bye I don’t like you. I HAD PLANS ALSO AND THEY ARE RUINED. Oh yeah I just realized that NO WONDER THEY HAVE 1.8 stars they deserve lower still terrible service.

I normally always shop at famous foot ware, and they are normally super kind, chill, and just positive. I went today (memorial day) at 5:50, a sign said they closed at 6pm outside. I already knew what i wanted to buy, so I would just grab them and go in less than 5 minutes. When I got to the location Woodbury, MN the worker there started walking over to lock the door and say it was too late. I then explained to him that I already knew what I wanted and was just going to grab them. He then refused to allow me to get them and told me to get out of the store. He made no eye contact and just refused to allow me to pay for the shoes. I was very upset and told him that I would write a bad review about him when he said F-off blondie

Received a wrong sized shoe on an online order as it seems extremely commonplace with this company. Both customer service representatives contacted were unhelpful to say the least, barking to me that a refund (or a likely unavailable exchange) is the only option, at my inconvenience of course. Will never buy from them online or in store.

So here is the breakdown , I ordered 2 pairs / "buy one get the second for half price" / I received 1 pair / its been a month now and I got no updates on the second pair / call customer service / wait3d for almost 20min until someone answers and she tells me / you order was cancelled because tye shoe that you ordered is not avaliable in stock / first and last time dealing with this company / not even a follow up email after reaching out 3 times by email , consumer protection here I come .

The quality of the shoes could be more improved!!!Average experience!

I am so pleased with the customer care I received from Reda yesterday. She is friendly and professional.
My running shoe was just too big and I wasn't sure if I could return them.
I did. I exchanged them for a perfect fit in a different brand. Not only am I happy with the running shoe, but the way I was treated by Reda and how helpful she was in the store. GOOD JOB!
This is why I keep coming back. Thanks

Went in to the East Wenatchee Famous Footwear store today. 4/18/2025. There is an employee named Jessica who is INCREDIBLY rude! All I wanted to know is if she could help find a different size. She rolled her eyes at me and had the nastiest attitude! Won't be going back to East Wenatchee again!

Popped in to get a shoe for my grand child . And my card according to the sales rep was not working. I advise that perhaps it was the store machine that was faulty. After changing to another station then on to a third the transaction was successful . Sunday Sunday February 23,2023 . I realized my card was charged 3 times for one item at the same minute hence I tried calling the store without success and subsequently visited the store . Surprisingly the store clerk shared that the machine has done the same to other persons and it will take the finance team 5 days to reimburse the over charged amount. In addition if I don’t hear from them. I am to follow up. Reallly now. That can not good. I went on the website attached the info from my account as previously showed at the store so I guess it’s now a waiting game to get my refund of their faulty machine or inexperienced sales staff .

This is the very last time to purchase something from this store... I ordered a pair of shoes from online through the store... after trying to contact store for weeks with no luck... I finally had to go in see what's going on, apparently my order was canalled and with no email or phone call to advised me of the sort they said a cheque has been sent. Its been 8 weeks now and I am still waiting for my refund. They have the worst customer service an agent by the name of DJ was so rude and thinks he knows everything, was not helpful at all. I do not recommend no one to go here since I feel they need better training in Customer Service

My wife purchased a pair of boots from famous footwear, they changed her debit card twice and said it wouldn’t go through and then changed her credit card. She ended up paying 250$ more than the shoes were worth. When she spoke with Ayeshah at customer care on two occasions she was told that they would not refund her money for her shoes even though they changed her 3 times! Absolutely disgusting behaviour from the company and their customer care team!! Do not purchase shoes from this company.

I received gift cards for my local famous footwear and it has been closed for the last 3-4 weeks.
When you go on line it still is posted that it is open at its regular hour. We have drove there and the door is locked. They need to give the customer a little more information.

On December 14, 2024, I went to the Famous Footwear store and through the cashier a purchase of pair of tennis shoes for my granddaughter that was made online. My debit was charged the amount of $56.99. After 5 days they sent me an email notifying me that the tennis shoes were out of stock and that they would give me a refund to my card. To this day they still have not returned my money, they always have an excuse not to. After 4 calls to customer service, the last thing they offered me was to send me a check by mail, which they have not sent me either. I don't know what else to do to get my money back.
So if you are planning to buy yourself some nice shoes, think about it twice before you spend your money in a place that will give you a hard time in returning your money if something goes wrong with them. There are plenty stores out there that you can find something nice and they will refund to your debit card whatever you spend without the runaround.

my time there was wasted. No one helped at all and the service was so bad. The shoe I was looking for. They only had one in the box and none on display. The store is so unorganised.
I asked for help and they didn’t help me at all. They just ignored me.

Honestly the worst experience I have EVER had with a store and their customer service. PLEASE save yourself the stress and mental relief of just shopping somewhere else.
The representatives were rude, unhelpful, and straight up lied on my call(s).
I had ONE helpful person out of the 4 I talked to. I was sent worn and stained shoes and they did not care at all. I had to CALL THEM BACK for my refund. I hate to think how many people they steal from who don’t check their accounts regularly.

Disgusting. Shame on you.
