I have had the absolute worst experience with Famous footwear and will not be returning as a customer ever again! I ordered bluey sneakers for my toddler and they came damaged, so I had to go to the store to return them. They gave me a 20% off coupon for the inconvenience. I then ordered another pair using the coupon and some rewards, and that order was cancelled and no reason was given! I tried to reorder but now couldnt use the coupon nor my rewards. I called customer service twice, and though she gave me another coupon, she said she couldn’t help me with my rewards, so frustrating!!! Customer service is horrendous, and not to

Ordered a pair of shoes for my granddaughter for Christmas said they were in stock got confirmation would ship in 3-5 business days. 5 days later emailed order was cancelled shoe was out of stock. They were probably out of stock already. Now they have my money and I have to wait about 10 business day for a refund I something I never received. They should not charge my credit card till item is sent. Now I have to disappoint my granddaughter this Christmas. Thank Famous Footwear for disappointing a little girl.

I was in the north Myrtle Beach store (tanger outlet) they didn’t have the shoes my husband wanted so I ordered them. The first issue my email was not corrected when I gave it to her. The other issue is they canceled my order without letting me know. So my question is why did the place an order if they knew they didn’t have the product? Now I’m trying to track where my refund is because it didn’t return to my account.I am pleased with the other things I brought however Will not be shopping here again.

They are the absolute worst to order from. No one answers & will not answer no matter what you push to talk to. They took 6 days to answer my email and told me the shipping to ship back. That I had to pay to ship back. I had ordered two pair of shoes. My order had no shipping due to I had purchased enough. Then after they shipped I got an email saying they didn’t have one of my shoes the main ones I wanted. They only credited my account like $10 and some change. Charged me full price for the shoes I didn’t really want & shipping. They use to have a store local & figured I would take them back there. Well NO the store is closed. Now we are driving an hour from our house just to take them back because I’m that mad & will be angry every time I wear them. Once the shoes I didn't really want came in a faded box, they looked like someone has already worn them and brought them back. 5 scuffs on the one shoe. It’s nuts.

I had to return a couple pairs of shoes that I purchased online. The shoes were in pristine condition, it was well within the 30-day return window, and I had the packing receipt, so why did I have to present my Driver's License?? Not to mention, the employee was ghetto and rude. I agree with other reviews: I'd rather pay a bit more elsewhere for better customer service.

Don trust! I placed my first and last order nov 28, they canceled same day. They sell items they don't have then make you wait up to 10 business days to get your money back. How could you collect for what you don't have then make someone wait? Didn’t even properly inform me, I paid extra to get it next day. And its December 4 i just realized they never even attempted a delivery! They're just collecting money!

I’m 91 yrs old and I purchased a pair of sketchers slip in shoes. The cashier was very kind and asked if I had a charge card with them. I applied and was approved. My bill arrived and was due on the 16th so I paid it on the 16th. Received a statement again with a 30.00 late fee and two other charges for 5.99. Total 35.99 due. What kind of company is this. I called talked with customer service twice then paid it. And told her to just cancel the card. I love the store but that’s ridiculous. I have credit cards for every major store. Can shop anywhere in the United States and have never been charged $30 late fee.

Worst in-store experience at Tanger outlets, National Harbor. The staff was extremely hostile and almost accused me of shoplifting as I mixed up the shoe boxes. They were extremely rude and stopped my husband from leaving the store. When we showed them the two pairs mixed up, they mentioned that we should have put the shoes in the right boxes. This was a horrible experience. I advise everyone to stay away from this store. I wish I could give them a negative rating—the most uncouth, pathetic staff. NEVER, NEVER VISIT THIS STORE!

Went to famous footwear because they were offering bogo sales for the holidays. I was extremely disappointed when after picking out 4 pairs of shoes I was informed that none of them were part of the bogo sale. I was told that famous footwear needed approval from the brands to be able to offer them at a discount so not all shoes were part of the sale. This is ridiculous! I came home and cut my credit card and won’t be returning. I could get better prices by shopping elsewhere, with a company upholds their sales and doesn’t wait until your at the counter to tell you they won’t uphold their sale.

Do not order in store and have a shoe shipped to you -In July purchase I two pair of shoes at the Woodinville Washington Store and ordered and paid for a third pair of shoes. I've talked to customer service twice to try to get back the 69 plus tax since July. First call,They told me they sent the check out but had the wrong address and it came back to them. Sept 23rd they said they would rush the check and I should see it in 1-2 weeks. October 23rd they said they hadn't sent the check and it would take another 6 weeks.

I am absolutely incredulous by the amount of reviews I have read that are in line with my exact experience. I ordered four pair of shoes and of those four pair three of them looked like Customer returns. They were definitely damaged and used to different degrees and one pair even had feces in the bottom tread. Having said that, the level of customer service I received was the absolute epitome of excellence. In no way, shape, or form would I have ever believed that I could receive this level of customer service in today’s day and age from any store anywhere online, in person, or otherwise. Granted, the actual purchases were so very disappointing but at the same time I have certainly had severely disappointing purchases from other stores and still received horrific customer service. In fact, Because I’m disabled, I receive 95% of everything I purchase via delivery, even my groceries, so I deal with customer service on a regular basis and it is almost impossible to receive anything other than subpar customer service at best these days. I am just so appreciative and impressed of the service I received from Randy,Red, Diana, and AJ and I Just want them to be recognized because they absolutely deserve to be.

I have ordered several times from this company and never had a problem this last time I ordered a pair of Nikes they were delivered in three days but they were to large so I started a return and ordered the same sneaker in a smaller size which were also delivered in three days according to Fedex tracking they received my return on the 14th of this month it's now the 22nd and still have not gotten a refund I sent two emails to them no return email I called customer service who confirmed they got my return and still no refund I will give it a few more days then start a dispute with Paypal Edited: I did receive my full refund I did not have to go through Paypal I left 1 star off for lack of returning emails, like I originally stated never had an issue with orders very fast delivery

Ordered shoes but the automated system decided my address was incorrect, so it picked a random address 1500km, 2 provences away. I messaged immediately when I noticed the tracking to have it fixed. Waited over a week for an automated response saying address's can't be changed and if I have a problem locating my item to let them know! Then the supplied email doesn't accept messages!
I got a refund immediately from PayPal because it's completely absurd! Definitely the Worst company ever! If this is a regular occurrence they will be bankrupt in no time.

I ordered 4 pairs of shoes online before school started. Got one pair within 3 days. The other 3 showed up online as shipping label created. I went in my local store after 10 days of purchase and was told to give it 3 more days and then call the customer service number. I called after 3 days and was told the carrier didn’t pick them up and I’d be issued a refund. I replied I’d rather have the shoes. I was then told ok your refund was issued. I was then asked anything else I can help you with? Yes why were the shoes not shipped? Again the rep blamed it on fed ex not picking the package up. Very frustrating to not have received my shoes but even more not to have a good reason as to why.

I tried to use the coupon BOGO 1/2 off. No where on the coupon does it state that there is a limit to the cost of the shoes for this coupon. No where in the store does it state what the exclusion are for this particular coupon. The employees kept stating it is on the website. I am in the physical store. Every time I go in there, they don't have my size or I can't use the coupon. It is getting old.

Biggest online scammers in placing orders when website isn’t up-to-date on products unavailable.
I placed an order in the store on August 8. The order was canceled. No notification by an email to let me know this when I finally called them on August 19. I’m now told that they are sending my refund out by check not that I can go into the store after paying with my debit card the same as cash to get my money back I need to wait 4 to 6 weeks from August 15 when they sent the notification to head office to issue me a refund check so my refund may not even arrive here until the end of September Then, when I asked to speak to a manager, the representative refused told me managers don’t make callbacks and so when I said, I want to still speak to a manager and she kept saying nope the manager will tell you nothing else and so I said is that how you’re trained to never allow a customer to speak to a manager She kept on saying that’s not what I’m saying managers don’t make callbacks. Kind of contradicting isn’t. It will never shop in the story again don’t care that I have rewards to be used. This is the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced regarding a refund.
Don’t place any online orders because even the order that they cancelled on August 8 because the product isn’t there that when I go onto their website, the product still shows it’s available still shows that it’s in my size only to be told by the customer service rep oh yeah, they’re not up-to-date so that was two weeks ago that I placed the order in the store and yet their website isn’t updated to show the product is not available so they continue to take money for other customers that they can’t fulfil an order for. Buyer beware!

I went in to buy any kind of shoes for my grandson age 5. Depending on the shoe he wears c11, 12c or c13. There was hardly and shoes at all im his size. I asked an associate pointed me in the direction of two rows that could possibly have his size. I was very disappointed ( 2 weeks) before school there wasn't a variety. There was a bogo sale but only on certain shoes. The associates didn't offer any solution. Also the chairs/ seats in the middle of the store don't help when your on the outside wall looking at shoes so my grandson sat on the very dirty floor. This will not be a store I will return to for the rest of my grandsons shoes. This is why I use Amazon instead

Terrible customer service. Staff is incredibly rude and hostile. Absolutely would not recommend.
