I only wish I had reviewed Fads prior to ordering from them.
I placed my order for a Lottie Ottoman bed on 20th October 2016, as the stock status was 'delivered in 1-2 weeks', unlike others which showed out of stock until November/December. Once the order was placed and paid for on my Credit card, the confirmation appeared stating 'delivery lead time 60 days', which was not acceptable to me. Fads were closed by then, so I called first thing the following morning to query this, and was informed that the item was 'in stock' with the supllier so would be delivered within 10 working days and I would recieve a call 2 days prior to delivery to confirm day & time. On 2nd November and needing to know when I had to book time off of work I called Fads again asking why I hadn't heard from them about delivery which was due by no later than 3rd October! I was told that the bed was actually 'out of stock' for another 6 weeks, due around the end of November. This wasn't acceptable to me as I needed a bed before then. The lady (name witheld) stated she would contact the supplier to see if they had one in stock they could deliver sooner. I received a voicemail the next day stating my bed would be delivered on Friday 4th November. I took delivery on that Friday of 3 boxes, and upon opening discovered a Lottie headboard, side rails and drawer fronts for a Lottie drawer bed. I had ordered the Ottoman bed, but thought although less storage, it was a bed and would need to do. However there were no fixings, no legs and no drawers (just front panels). I called Fads once more just after 12 noon and was told that the lady herself and a colleague had sourced the bed from their own warehouse and she would contact the supplier to try and obtain the missing parts for me, or the correct bed which I had actually ordered and was what I really wanted. I hadn't heard back by 4:15pm and needed to find out prior to the weekend what was happening and whether I needed to go out and buy an 'in stock' bed from another supplier. I was told that they were still awaiting a call from the supplier but aim to get the missing parts by early the following week. I told the lady that if I didn't have a bed I can sleep in by Monday 7th they could collect the item and refund me in full immediatley.
I sourced another bed over the weekend that was delivered on the Monday, so called Fads to arrange collection of their 'half bed' and requested a refund. I was told that as soon as they have the bed back in their possession they would refund my money, which really isn't good enough, they had my money on 20th October! Collection was arrnaged for Tuesday 8th November, but when the courier turned up (the same guy who'd delivered the previous Friday) he informed me that he had no room on his van for the 3 parcels so would come back on the Thursday... No, I said you will now come back when it is suitable for me! So this guy turns up anytime between 10:59am - 13:59 all three times so thats three days of unpaid leave I have need to take for this bed. Finally the bed was collected on Friday 11th November and I have contacted Fads twice now for my refund... still nothing. I am now going to bill Fads for 3 x days lost income and interest on my Credit card.

I just thought i would share the wonderful customer service experience i have jst had to endure for the past 10 days! I couldnt decide if your company was trying to put me into early labour or not but the service we have received has been horrendous!!! Ordered our bed on 10th Oct ago, which finally got delivered on 9th November after having to chase this up a few times. Happy with the fact that it was finally here we dismantled and got rid of our old bed to start building our new one. Only to discover that they didn’t send us any fittings and 2 wheels for the drawers were missing also. I called your customer service on the Friday (11th) to be told that they would need to contact the supplier directly and they wouldn’t be able to do that until the Monday, which is fair enough. Not great that I’m 9 MONTHS PREGNANT and had to sleep on a mattress but thought well its only for a few nights until we get sent the fittings - oh how wrong was I!!! Phoned again on Monday(14th) to be told that the supplier would send me the fittings directly and i informed the girl on the phone that i was 9 months pregnant and sleeping on a mattress as we currently didn’t have a bed so was looking to get the fittings as soon as possible, she reassured me the supplier would send these directly and that they would get in touch with me directly. Then contacted your company again on the Wednesday (16th) to find out what was happening as i still hadn’t heard from the supplier and wanted to check when we could expect to receive the essential parts we need to actually build the bed!! Only to be told that the supplier was unable to release the 'spare parts' (I’m sorry let me clarify once again these are NOT spare parts these are essential parts of the bed needed to actually assemble the bed which should have been included!!)as they couldn’t get to their warehouse?! Was offered the solution of your company finding a similar bed in your warehouse and sending us the fittings for that in the hope that they would fit?! Really by this point it is laughable?! So the supplier fails to include the essentials in the original delivery which we received over a week ago by this point and still can’t send me these because they can’t get into access their own warehouse?! I was struggling to understand this?! Anyway by this point and having struggled all week sleeping on a mattress on the floor i had enough and confirmed to your company on Thursday(17th) I want a full refund. I can apparently get a refund once they arrange for the bed to be picked up and received back by your company, only then will i be refunded! So until this point i am still without a bed and now also out of pocket and will not be able to order a new bed from somewhere that actually supplies all the parts you need to actually assemble a bed, until we receive the refund. After having to call your customer service helpline, yet once AGAIN on Friday(18th) yes we are now over a week dealing with this i was told that the supplier was in the process of moving warehouses and this is why they can’t get to the parts?! To be honest by this point i actually couldn’t care less nor is this my issue!!! So after having to continuously chase up on this I’m told that they have the fittings and these will be sent by courier on Monday(21st)so i should have these by Tuesday(22nd). So again after having to continously call your 'customer service' again on Monday to chase for a tracking number i finally get a tracking number at 5pm after being spun various excuses. No idea why I’m having to continuously follow up with this given the fact that the supplier is incompetent of actually including these in the first instance. Any half decent customer service would be contacting me with these updates rather than me having to chase this. Up until then i had been very patient but this is simply unacceptable and certainly the last thing i need at this stage in my pregnancy or this time of year! So thank you FADS for such a stressful week and for providing the WORST customer service ever! I certainly wish i had read the horrendous reviews on Trustpilot before ordering from you!!! Anyone thinking of ordering from here PLEASE THINK AGAIN!!!
So for the last 10 nights at 9 months pregnant i have had to l sleep on a mattress!! Finally after such a stressful week and a half of being fed excuse after excuse and continous chasing we finally recieved the fittings today and now have a bed which can be assembled…...excellent customer service right there! Not even once a suggestion of just sending us a new bed and taking the old one away or even mention of any sort of compensation for what i have had to go through. To say this is disappointing is an understatement!

Wish I had read the reviews before i bothered with this company. I saw a lovely bed on their website for my daughter, her old one had broken so needed it delivered as quick as possible, so before making my order online, I rang FADS to find out delivery time, I was told if I ordered it, it would be delivered within 3 weeks, so I went ahead and ordered. 3 weeks came and went and heard nothing from them. Rang them and they looked into my order and was told it was out of stock and would be at least a further 8 weeks for delivery. So on top of the 3 weeks i had already ordered, this would mean a total of 11 weeks !!! when i was told 3. So i cancelled my order. I checked there website and they were still advertising the bed with a 4-6 week delivery time, when they knew full well it was out of stock,so totally misleading their customers A week later I still had not received a refund so also had to chase this up, I did get this a couple of days later. I then used another online retailer to order the same bed, and it was delivered in 3 working days. Should have read their reviews before I had ordered, a lesson learned !
Terrible customer service and product!!
I ordered a bed that stated next day delivery, after three weeks I was still repeatedly calling trying to find out why the bed still had not arrived.
Four weeks later after delivery and building the bed I found there was a fault in the making and fell through it. After packing the unsuitable bed back in its box to be returned, I was informed I had two options 1. I put the bed back up to repeat falling through it so I could send photographic evidence or 2. Pay 50 pound for the bed to be returned and when the fault was confirmed another would be issued. I'm appalled and disgusted in how poorly I have been treated and feel it fair that others know of my mistreatment. Personally the whole experience has been stressful and time consuming with an ongoing dispute 8 weeks down the line to resolve it, I would advise to avoid at all costs as the seemingly friendly and helpful females answering the phone change very quickly when your money is in there hands. AVOID!!!
Don't bother
Placed order on 25th June for a bed. No mention that bed wasn't in stock at time of order. No bed materialised and only when chased was advised that Fads were awaiting delivery of stock. Promised July - nothing, August - nothing. Chase up emails in September were still advising that there might be a delay in reply due to the bank holiday. Finally advised on 9th sept that Fads had been taken over by EDPA Ltd who endeavour to provide excellent customer service. Advised order had been cancelled?? Not by me. They offered to replace order for me. Was losing the will by this stage so took them up on the offer for them to reinstate order only to be advised again that Fads had been taken over by EDPA . . . . Provide excellent customer service . . .etc but as order he'd been cancelled I needed to reorder myself. Gave up. Order no 42164 in case fads are interested. Only positive is that payment was due on despatch rather than order so at least wasn't out of pocket

No understanding or care! Lack of common sense!
This is still on going and I feel they are just delaying, or think we will just give up trying!! How wrong they are!
We ordered a table and was delivered promptly, good start!
On assembling the table we noticed that 1 block was missing?? It is not a part which prevents the tables functioning, it just gives added supports to the extensions of the table, so as we have just moved into a brand new house we needed a table, contacted FADS and told them what part we were missing!
So my wife communicated with them and sent images of what was missing and they said a replacement part would be sent out, great!!
So it didn't turn up when said, chased again and they made out it had been delivered? But would send again, so ok new address and maybe a mistake was made!!?
Send out again and what turns up was completely wrong? Ring them again and after 3 weeks and so say the part being sent out about 4 times we still haven't seen the part!!?
Plus we have since noticed that the design of the table is appalling? You can't lock the table shut when on the smallest size??? You can't reach the latches to lock so it keeps coming apart! We have asked for a refund and for them to collect the table, but they have stated they won't unless we have the original packaging??
We don't have this as we believed that they would resolve the issue and it wouldn't need returning!
It is only now after wasted phone calls, emails and time, we have lost complete faith in their product and company!
My wife has now escalated the complaint and got an ombudsman involved as we feel that they just don't care!!
I hope others rad this and stay clear from this awful company!
All people want is for a company to give them what they pay for, I work in customer services and if I treated my customers the same I'd be looking for a new career!!

Excellent service
The service I received from fads was great from placing the order, through to delivery. I ordered at 1130 and my item was delivered next day, as promised.
The product is of great quality. We are looking forward to setting up our new dining table.

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE UNLESS YOU DONT MIND WAITING NEARLY 2 MONTHS TO GET YOUR MONEY BACK!!!!! absolutely disgusted, ordered a bed £349.99 to be sent out next day, received 2 days later and was faulty. Pulls in the fabric AND fabric sagging on headboard but was willing to have a replacement. spoke to customer service who don't have a clue with what there doing at all, they said after numerous times of sending out images of the fault and contacting them that a replacement will be sent out. Nobody contacted me saying when it will be collected by the courier i had to ring ring and ring, i was then told it was on its way when actually it hadn't even been dispatched! after waiting in all day for it!!!. Several days later bed was collected, due to the hassle i didn't want a replacement as it had been over a month messing around so they said i could have £50 of which is a joke after what i dealt with or a refund. i had the refund, It was meant to take 3-5 working days but to fads this means 3-5 weeks, i had that much trouble i had to dispute this with my BANK and a SOLICITOR!!!! finally over weeks of phone calls and emails i was given my money back! BE WARNED THEY WILL FOB YOU OFF WITH "THE RETURNS TEAM ARE BUSY" OR "THE PEOPLE WHO DEAL WITH IT ARE IN A MEETING" people at customer service need to be retrained on there job role, i have never had such worse customer service in my life. They will hold onto your money for along as possible be warned. NOT EVEN WORTH THE ONE STAR!!

Placed an order, received confirmation then was called and told one item was discontinued despite being on the website as in stock, offered no apology or alternative. Decided to proceed with the other items and was told I would have them by 7pm the next day... Waited in didn't arrive, called and was told that they were awaiting confirmation from me.. Lies! Was then told I would have them the next day to be called on that day and was informed they didn't have the stock! Amateurs... Shouldn't be allowed to trade. Please avoid

Comedy chain of events
This where I should rant but the service from this company was so shocking it's absolute comedy. Here is the trail of events:
- I ordered my bed, but realised I had selected the wrong the size. I quickly called Fads and they were able to sort this. I was really pleased at how flexible they were, however it all went down hill quickly...
- It was confirmed that the delivery would turn up on the Monday. It didn't, it turned up on Tuesday when no one was in.
- I then had a call from the couriers saying they will deliver it the next day (Weds) I said 'no' as no one will be in at short notice. He said leave it with me and i heard nothing more.
- So the next day (weds) guess what, yep they tried to deliver the bed. I called Fads again who were apologetic and now upgraded me to a weekend delivery.
- Saturday came and the delivery man showed up, made me go and help him lug the boxes in but 'ok' I thought, no big deal.
- Well the boxes were torn wide open, I was astonished and the guy completed a damaged delivery form. Anyway in my desperation I still accepted the delivery - big mistake
- Turns out, after unpacking that there were no instructions and all the fittings were missing
- I called Fads and complained about the state of the package and the missing parts, they apologised and emailed me the instructions and I was able to identify all missing parts.
- I called Fads back and they they arrange to send out the missing parts the very next day.
- 2 days pass and I chase up, long story short they delivered to the wrong address, so after much back and forth and me chasing fads on the phone multiple times (they rarely call back when they say they will) they send out the parts the next day.
- Next day comes and no parts, chase Fads again, and it turns out the 'label fell off the package in the van and the driver didn't know where to deliver the parts'. It was at this point I looked around for a hidden camera and lost it, I couldn't believe what a farce this company is.
- So 2 days later the parts finally show up. When assembling the bed I realise there's still parts missing, seems no one checked to make sure I received all the missing parts.
- I call Fads again, at this point i'm not even angry, i'm over it and seeing the funny side, they apologise and send out the extra missing parts - which were the slat caps.
-So last night, I start fitting the slat caps and you know what? Yep, they didn't send enough slat caps, leaving me 4 short. The funny thing is, I even knew that would happen.
I cannot wait to see how Fads respond or justify this...

Gave up waiting
We ordered a bed in March 2016 which was advertised on Fads website as 'Next Day Delivery'. 3 months later and fed up with waiting we had to cancel the order. Various emails backwards and forwards and the company kept saying the bed would be in within the next few weeks.....but never materialised. We were told the 'Next day delivery' only applied to the single bed....what a joke. My advice would be to avoid this company, or if you want a Christmas delivery it's probably a good idea to make sure you order in May!
Horrendous Customer Service
I ordered 4 Naples chairs from this company and as promised they were delivered promptly, however the chairs are a complete joke, legs all different lengths etc.
I have sent 2 messages via the online form and one email, all of which have been completely ignored.
I would have expected at the very least some contact, we have had the chairs for a week and still no answer from Fads.
Please read the reviews before purchasing anything from this company, it may well be a supplier issue but as the company selling the goods directly to the public they completely ignore all of the legislation surrounding distance selling.
2 months and return still not resolved - stressful experience
Unfortunately I will have to rate this company as unacceptable, I have never been in position to send so many emails to try to organize a return. The delivery was great, next day as claimed, but the chairs were defective so had to ask to be returned. I have notified them soon after the delivery, on 10th of March, and ever since no returned has been planned yet. All my emails are responded but all they say is that the manufacturer will get in touch with me. I wonder how many more emails do I have to send!
Of course after this experience I will never order again from this website. I understand that items are not always perfect, but as a customer I don't think you shouldn't spend so much time to deliver a product.

Ordered a bed for my daughter's room and couldn't have received better service! Staff were very helpful when it came to delivery times and answered any questions I had. Product is amazing quality and looks exactly as it did on the website. Will definitely order from FADS again!
Excellent all round
Ordered my bed thursday morning & arrived the next morning with a lovely driver who helped me carry the item in my home! exactly as described & so happy with the price! 1st experience with fads & will not be the last!! Thank you (2 of my friends will also be visiting your store to purchase the same bed) =)

purchased a bed & mattress after looking around everywhere. FADS bed was cheapest online & could offer next day. got dispatch email detailing tracking information & carrier delivered the next day as promised. easy to assemble & very comfortable mattress. would reccomend & use again.
Poor service, 3 weeks on from purchase still not resolved
We purchased a bed for my daughter with a trundle pull out, we also purchased the mattress recommended on the same page to fit the trundle. Theirs mattress did not fit, a second was promptly dispatched, which again, did not fit. When I rang up again I was told this had never happened before asked for pictures which were sent over and a third mattress was delivered which just fits into the trundle. We had arranged delivery for Friday, the mattress (no.3) was delivered Wednesday to our neighbours and we were told the other mattresses would be collected on the Friday. We still have the world mattresses in our hallway as no one turned up despite being told on the phone there would be a collection between 11-3. A day off work for no reason to wait in and not have mattresses collected. No apologies and all I was told by customer services was that it wasn't their fault as they couldn't contact the courier. I wouldn't buy anything from this company again. Now having to arrange for the council to collect the mattresses.
