Poorly described accommodation in initial booking. Communication was very difficult prior to arriving to voice my concerns of the accommodation booked.

WE HAD TO CANCEL ABOVE TICKET DUE TO UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCE, IMMEDIATELY AFTER BOOKING WITHIN FREE CANCELLATION WINDOW. EXPEDIA WERE MOST ONLINE NOTORIOIUS CRIMINALS. I KINDLY REQUEST NOT TO PURCHASE ANY TISKETS FROM THEM.

Booking accommodation was a very easy process and having a lot of choice which you normally wouldn't be offered especially places you have never visited.

Make the booking very easy with best price 👍.

Price was Good, Range was Good, Booking Process easy.

Easy hassle free transaction

I am so disappointed. I have a flight from Kansas City to Melbourne Australia - with a layover in Dallas. When I booked, the flight pattern was completely fine! Then apparently the airline cancelled the initial flight from Kansas City to Dallas & bumped me to the next available flight BUT the next flight was scheduled to arrive AFTER the flight from Dallas to Melbourne DEPARTED which meant that I would miss the flight.
I contacted Expedia 10+ times via call & online messaging to which I was given the exact same responses from every agent "please follow up closer to the travel date" or "I haven't been able to get in contact with the airline so I will send an email & follow up with an update in 72 hours"... did the follow up happen? NO!!!!
Today will be the 11th time I have called to get a solution.
Mind you, I contacted the airline directly and they were so easy to get in touch with but said that the TRAVEL AGENT is the one that ultimately decides whether I get charged for just cancelling & rebooking to ensure the flight is made.

I have had great & easy experiences with Expedia but the one time when I need to ensure I make a flight, is the one time I am having troubles!!! So frustrating.

Please train your service agents better as they do not know how to handle specific matters. Giving the same generic answer with no follow through takes away from the integrity of a company.

Easy and great value

Great Experience with wonderful and ease of booking. The smooth experience makes it more reliant to come back to Expedia as it has great deals on accommodation flights car hire eSIM etc. plus they have the fastest response in support service. Great application to have.

Discovered what I was looking for and the booking process was straightforward. I appreciated the updates and reminders about my booking.

Expedia makes bookings simple and it groups multiple bookings together in one trip plan.

I did not get to have my holiday. My mother passed away. I contacted Expedia to change my dates, The resort I had booked were more than happy to change the dates however Expedia refused to help. I had paid in full, so lost my money and of course did not get to have a holiday. I would never book with Expedia again.

Our luggage was lost and the Wellington Temple Bar Hotel received it for us when it was found and held it for our return. Was quiet, clean, fabulous food and staff and very walkable to everywhere. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Totally recommend!!!

I have used Expedia over the years and I can honestly say they are extremely reliable and will always solve any problem you may come across. I like the fact you can speak to real people to sort anything out with them. Never had any issues with them ever. The accommodation advertised is always true to pictures online.

I booked accommodation through Expedia for business/work purposes. Unfortunately, our work was delayed, so I contacted Expedia to simply request a change of dates. I wasn’t asking for a cancellation or a refund — I was even happy to pay any difference in price. These kinds of changes are a normal part of doing business.

Expedia told me they couldn’t change the booking and that they had to contact the property for approval.

I then contacted the property directly myself. The manager told me that Expedia handles these changes and that it was completely up to Expedia. He also said they were more than happy to accommodate date changes because they understand that plans can change, particularly for business. He actually recommended booking directly with the property in the future.

The most frustrating part is that Expedia told me the property would not allow the change, when according to the property manager, Expedia had never even contacted them about it. The manager confirmed that he had not spoken with Expedia regarding my request.

This left me with a booking I couldn’t use, despite being willing to change the dates and even pay the difference.

Very disappointing customer service and, more importantly, a lack of transparency.

If they had a minus star i would have picked !

Expedia and Wotif do not use
paid insurance there system changed dates asked to move to date we booked no refund no change of date booking not for over 3 months no help at all just passed from team to team what a joke .
there training is how to muck people around until they give up and steal your money.
BE WANRED ! DONT DEAL WITH THEM.

I book a flight to Vietnam with Expedia and was given a price including 20 kilos baggage for each passenger
When I received the confirmation from Jetstar for the booking it had 0 baggage allowance for the 2 tickets
I complained to Expedia customer care and I have been given the runaround
It has been almost 2weeks and no resolution with the 20 kilos baggage that I had to pay direct to jetstas
To date I am still persuing the issue, the lesson for me is never book anything with Expedia be very careful don't say I didn't worn you

I can now see why their rating is so
Bad. Had the worse service with Expedia. Flight was delayed by 12 hours so we had to cancel and take a different airline due to a family emergency. They charged us $300 to cancel and did their best to make the situation even more stressful. Very nasty company avoid at all costs
