0n arrival in the stated time between 3pm &4pm the office was unattended we had recieved no messages from either 4expedia or the motel regarding what room we had. how to axcess a key so we rang the phone number on the door to the office and got no reply, we then tried the evpedia phone number and also got no reply after about 3quaters of an hour another guest arrived we tried the number he had and eventually getting contact were told how to axcess the room,very poor rervice would not reccomend

False advertising of discounts
We received an email advertising 30% off bookings made before 15th Sep. We booked a property in Sydney but the code would not be accepted. After speaking to their Livechat they would not apply it as they said the hotel wasn't applicable. The advert says in small writing participating properties but it does not state which ones. So are we expected to guess or browse through millions of hotels all over the world. I believe this is false advertising and though I have booked many trips with Expedia will be probably booking elsewhere in the future.

Expedia incredible hotel/flight package discounts and personal customer service via telephone
Expedia has offered incredible discounts with both hotel and flight packages as well as hotel deals from Europe to Africa (ex Australia - holiday bookings - February 2025 - August 2026) . The discount on one occasion was equivalent to the flight which is amazing.
I have been reassured and so grateful for the telephone customer service rather than dealing with online/automated telephone service. The international telephone service has been available 24/7 where I have spoken to someone who has immediately rectified or changed any bookings made online or addressed any issues I have had quickly.
It is also very reassuring to have confirmation of your flights through the airlines as well being able to liaise with the hotel directly if required through the site or directly (Expedia in effect being the agent/third party).
The hotels offered have been fabulous and outstanding 4 to 5 stars.
It seemed to me that there are flights on Expedia that do not appear on other sites including the airlines and it was easier to navigate/compare.
I highly recommend Expedia
