Bear with me, I have to set up the story so you will understand how I reached Exact Hosting. First, I was part of that awful mess when Vista Print merged with WIX. They lost all my photos twice, 18 years of photos I will never get back. WIX is a disaster so I haven't touched my website in 1-1/2 years. I began looking around January 2025 for a new website host. Everyone wanted to build a huge monstrosity for me which I didn't need or want, no company would allow me to test their site builders so I could determine whether I could even navigate it, no one seemed to give a darn. 18 years ago Vista Print was easy, now tech is so highly developed it is impossible for someone like me to figure it out and I didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars to have a site built, then more hundreds to have it maintained, etc. I was lost and overwhelmed. I decided to renew my domain with Hover (due January 31, 2025) and let the website possibly go until I could find help from someone. I explained my situation to Hover, how every website host was too complicated, etc., and they said to try their sister company, Exact Hosting which I did. I first spoke with Terry over the phone, explained my situation and he graciously shared my screen with me and put me on their site. He walked me through the process, put me on a 10 day trial at no cost to allow me to play around with the navigation, then sent me an email with further assistance. I later spoke with Tim who did the same thing of sharing my screen and giving me wonderful tips. I read the reviews of Exact Hosting (not all good) but noticed many of the reviews mentioned Vista Print and the mess that caused long time subscribers like me. I called Hover and expressed my concerns. First, Hover explained they had always been the domain host for Vista (interesting) and had been mixed up in the mess but not out of choice. Things they told me were exactly what happened to me with Vista Print and Wix so I knew they were speaking the truth. It was such a relief to find two companies (Hover and Exact Hosting) who knew what I had been through. I could also tell the reviews reflected the same time period when all the mess took place. Now to my review of Exact Hosting. They have been wonderful and I can't express my appreciation of how much they have done for me over the past 5 days. They answer the phone! The two reps I spoke with (one in Tennessee and one in Texas) were friendly, likeable, patient, experienced, caring, and definitely took care of me. I connected my website yesterday and said adios (and a few choice words) to Vista Print and WIX. Hover was able to continue to host my domain which was great as they have also been extremely friendly, helpful and patient, and they answer the phone too!. I am able to navigate the site builder with Exact with fair ease and I can reach them by telephone for help if I get stuck. This means so much when customer service is pretty much non-existent these days. Plus, I get to speak to reps in Canada or the US instead of reps in other countries who barely speak or comprehend the English language. If you are looking for a new host, give them a shot and take the time to speak with them. I am certainly glad I did. Update: (Switched to Exact January 3, 2025) February 17, 2025. Absolutely zero issues since switching my website to Exact Hosting. None. Update 10/19/25 Still no issues. Website has never gone down. Customer service always available to answer question or share screen for assistance. I refer them to my friends who want to get out of the large companies who charge crazy amounts of money with zero customer service.

Turns out this website is a scam. It will install malware. Do not click on any links. Frustrated I fell for this scam.

My long-time hosting company sold to them beginning of 2024 and we have had nothing but trouble, miscommunication and dodges. On posted tickets, only receive a response part of the time. Chat seems to be focused on getting rid of you instead of solving the problem. Don't even try to call, if you can even find the number, unless you have time to be on hold for a long. long time. Just because something is running well today, doesn't mean tomorrow won't bring disaster. There is no sense of urgency when a site is down, or email doesn't work, etc.

Moved to this company from qualityhostonline. There is no support, can't find phones or anybody who can help me. Can't understand how they acquiring good companies and make them a complete disaster.

Thoroughly agree with message on from Mark Denton on Nov 3rd and other messages earlier. Exact hosting deserve a minus 10 rating for as many bad points as possible.
Exact hosting took down and destroyed my website without even telling me or giving me any warning what so ever. It is effecting my business. I am a small sole trader who offers therapy and being told to build a whole new website is devastating.
The support system on exact hosting was non existent and impossible to find, access or understand. Many emails sent were not answered. The only email answered occurred while I was on an expensive call from UK to Dave Panty in Canada. He promised more answers and help but I am still waiting. It felt like a fluke that i even spoke to him as he said he had not been in for 2 days.
No responses were given as to how I will rebuild and pay for a new website to be assembled.
I see exact hosting is up for sale. Do not buy or go any where near this company with its no can do, brick wall, do not care attitudes.

I ended up with Exacthosting after they acquired qualityhostonline. This is the worst possible experience. Their support answers after 6 or 7 days (yes, days not hours) with a completely useless answer, indicating total incompetence.

Should be 0 stars. Exact Hosting is SPAM. This company should be investigated for malpractice.

If I could leave less stars I would !!! I was lumbered with Exact Hosting when VistaPrint decided to stop supplying websites & email hosting, No consultation no nothing just Vistaprint playing god !

Exact have been worse than useless ever since, Customer support is non existent and when you do spend hours waiting on live chat you get through to someone and it’s like talking to a brick wall.

They are trying to overcharge me for mailboxes and are very reluctant to help, A week now all my domain email accounts have been down and I’m still no closer to getting a resolve from these clowns !

I would seriously AVOID this company

Since they took over from Webs.com they have been harassing me with invoices for a site I canceled at Webs.com. I received a confirmation email the site was closed in August but they still continue the harassing with overdue invoices. They are terrible.

Horrible, Vistaprint/Wix did not even tell me my domain was given to ExactHosting. I already paid and suddenly they start billing me out of nowhere. Thanks to the reviews here I will not pay a penny!

Lawsuit against Exact Hosting, anyone interested? I cannot access my account, I am losing Thousands of dollars not able to access email, my website is down. This has been disastrous for my business.

Wow. Vistaprint sent my email account to Exact Hosting. What a disaster. I had no email for 3 days and when I tried calling, after 25 minutes holding each time, I got disconnected. At least 5-6 emails to the help email address went unanswered, chat never responded - and my company could neither send or receive emails. BUT when I clicked on "cancel my account" yep - I got a response right away. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

Worst service. Another vista to wix transfer. Lost all my emails. Exact hosting never replies to emails or tickets generated through their portal. So glad I never gave them my credit card details.

This company is incompetent and their customer service is a fraud!
I paid to renew my domain registration and they suspended my website two days later. After too many hours trying to get through to tech support, the domain was reinstated. TWO DAYS LATER THEY SUSPENDED MY MY WEBSITE AGAIN!
I am trying to transfer my domain to another hosting company but it no longer appears on the company's system.
I am potentially losing thousands of dollars of revenue because of this!

If there was a minus rating I would have put it! Dreadful to get in touch, their chat system is useless! I have lost all my work email addresses, impossible to get in touch with them! Zero help from them. WARNING - Stay away

My website . Lose everything information and pictures. Why your company closed don’t let the owner know before 1-2weeks. Give some notice . Super super terrible. Now this timey I have to waste more time fixing, and let more AD put my website fixing, lose my new customers. Destroy everything!!! This is your American style?

I too have had my website transferred from Webs to Vistaprint and now Exact Hosting. Going from Webs to Vistaprint was sketchy enough, but Exact Hosting have invoiced me for a service I've already paid Vistaprint for! I've had lots of emails threatening to take my site down, but cannot get any reply from their Chat, email or support ticket.

I lost my website when Vista Print bought web.com and all hosting went to Exacthosting. I called to web.com customer service and found out, that my website and other websites, free and paid, no matter, are all deleted, gone, they said that they could not transfer them even to wix builder because this builder doesn't have such capacities and have limitations, therefore they just deleted all websites. You will not get access to your website, it's gone. They say that they will refund money. It is not about money, they destroyed content which doesn't belong to them. It was Vista desision. This hosting is trying to bill me for 60 dollars for domain name and 3 e-mail boxes, which I don't need. Why do I need it without my website. Why I even should trust them - what can prevent them to delete another website again? I checked wix - really, it is very not structural builder. To rebuild something what you build for many years is difficult, especially if you lost information. Why would I trust this not reputable business ever again after they just deleted my website? Webs.com, Vista, Exact Hosting which locked my domain - don't deal with them.

I subscribe the last reviews of everyone who had a website on webs...we lost all have to start all again, no reply from exact hosting im waiting for a week now website down, email down...also i tried to rebuild the website on vista x wix the link they ask us to go to and wix is asking me money to connect a domain i already pay now with exact hosting...
TERRIBE SERVICE from exact hosting to all the new customers...AVOID!!!

It seems that we are having a similar experience to many on here. our web provider Vista have transferred our domain name to Exacthosting and now we have no working website. as many have said on here we have had no response from them despite sending emails and attempting other means of contact. we had no choice in this move and have been left high and dry by everyone involved. Poor
