Our new Sonic is perfect for weekend trips. I wasn't sure how my horse would load with a side ramp but he went straight up first time. After towing a trailer for years it feels amazing to have a horsebox now and my husband is happy too - win win!

Hired a Night-Treka for the weekend and it was fab! Now i just need to save up for one. Collected from Sheffield and the team were really helpful and showed me how to set the beds up etc. Would definitely use again.

After owning a show trekka for 12 years and having great adventures with the reliable trailer we now have upgraded to the night trekka and loving the new upgrades.

We were involved in an incident during our way home from collecting our trailer from its service, where the trailer ended up on it's side blocking two lanes of traffic. Whilst my partner was on the phone to the police, I rang Equi-Trek and told them what had happened. They instantly rallied a large group of staff and quickly came to our rescue. They righted the trailer and loaded it up on their truck so quickly. The reassurance given to us was amazing, followed by phone calls from Steve to check that we had managed to get home safely.
The team were amazing and I honestly don't know what we would've done if it weren't for their knowledge and help!

Recently bought a Trail Treka for my two ponies and I am really pleased with it. They travel very well in it and load much better with a side ramp! The quality is excellent and it gives me peace of mind knowing it is a brand new chassis. Thank you Equi-Trek from Daisy and Spud.

I am delighted with the Equi-Trek Equinox which will be fantastic when we can get out to shows again. I never thought I would have such a lovely vehicle and the team were great to work with - thankyou Equi-Trek!

I am really pleased with my Trail-Treka, it was excellent value for money and a side-loading ramp was a must for my horse. The team at Equi-Trek were really helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The build is great quality and I am looking forward to hopefully getting more use out of it next year!

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY AND MORE IMPORTANTLY DON'T PUT YOUR HORSES IN DANGER.

Absolutely awful company. Bought a brand new horsebox from them and over 42 different things went wrong with it in its first year. Many of those things went wrong more than once. Absolutely atrocious build and customer service. Just Google them or search on Facebook for the extensive range of poor reviews.
Complete nightmare and sold it back to the dealership in the end as it was never right.

Purchased a new Super Sonic March 2018. Build quality not great, nor was the dealer to be honest. Eighteen months in and the paint is peeling off all over the box - raised with Equitrek, they are not interested. Recommend you go elsewhere

Just picked up my first horse box today. It far surpassed my hopes and I’m thrilled with it! I dealt with the brilliant Jodie all the way through then Steve for hand over, I can honestly say the customer experience was amazing - Jodie was on every little thing, found me the perfect box, got back to me immediately every time I called, went above and beyond even giving me advice on how to insure etc - customer experience as it should be (but never really is!!) can’t recommend them enough

I have just bought a used Equi trek space treka L trailer from Stocksbridge and have been very pleased with the service. Both Steve and Conor who I dealt with were great - efficient, friendly and honest.
I have only been out twice in the trailer so far....but great. Great to tow, horses are comfortable with plenty of space.
I also part exchanged my Ifor Williams and felt I got a fair price. All in all a good experience. Thank you

I bought my Equi-Trek Victory XL1 year ago from Barlow’s in Preston. It has now done 4600 miles and I would think that I have done 1000 of those miles going backwards and forwards to try and get problems fixed.
Firstly it had a Peugeot warranty issue, the headlight filled up with water and stopped working. That was replaced in Leicester. The major issues that I have had though have been concerning the onboard water system. The handover of the lorry by Barlow’s was poor and therefore the workings of the system were not explained to me. The pump was burnt out within a few weeks and had to be replaced. In addition the pipes in the water system have come apart and flooded the space underneath the inside lockers (which you can’t get to) but the real irritating thing was not being able to fill the water system in the first place without getting covered in water. The inner pipe which went to the tank under the lorry was too long and therefore it caused an airlock and prevented water going in. I thought I had it booked in to Cutlers at Derby but they forgot to write in my appointment, even after waiting for several weeks, and I was truly stuck. To be fair Jack Cutler pulled strings and managed to get me an immediate appointment at the Equitrek factory in Stockbridge. I went there yesterday and the service was truly excellent. As well as fixing the two pipes (factory issues - the fill pipe was too long and the pressured connections had popped through lack of o rings) the workings of the lorry were explained to me in detail and now I feel confident that I understand how it all works. It did have a habitation service at a cost of £430 and a 6 hour wait which I think was quite expensive but after putting up with no working systems on the lorry living for so long I was truly grateful. Everything now seems to be fixed thank goodness. I will not hesitate to go straight back to the factory for anything else because driving all over the country messing about with dealerships is a real pain!
These lorries are not the most robust on the market but they are a good price and ours cruises down the motorway really speedily and comfortably. The horses are happy in it and they travel well.

I bought a brand new equitrek sonic and within months the ramp filled up with water. We reported this and to cut a VERY long story short we had a year of awful customer service and heated phone calls with the company who refused to replace the ramp even though we were well within the warranty, we had no choice but to take them to court. Strangely the night before we were due in court they agreed to replace the ramp! Do not touch this company with a barge pole they couldn't care less once they have your money and unless you are willing to take them to court they will not sort out any issues.

Took my 2008 show trekka in for a service at Sheffield, I wasn’t sure what to expect but Steve who looked after me was brill, down to earth, sorted all my problems out in good time and for a very reasonable price.
Really secure location never had a worry about leaving my trailer with them and very easy to find.

Tom Janion, Managing Director was very helpful, with excellent communication - answering my many questions. He helped me when he was not legally obliged to, in quite a stressful difficult situation. I had bought an Equitrek from a customer who misled me as it had been damaged in accident.

The Equitrek team especially Steve is very knowledgeable, he ins-tills confidence and has fantastic customer service mentality. He was very thoughtful and spent a lot of time coaching me around how to use the vehicle and common mistakes a customer can make to inadvertently damage the vehicle.

To be fair they were all lovely people including the cleaner who was very jolly, was so happy to be back at work following being furloughed. You could see they all enjoyed working at Equitrek.

Bought a brand new Night Treka, which developed a leak into living space. This was detected 5 weeks after purchase so more than likely a fault from the start. First repair failed and second repair failed and on inspection 2nd repair was appauling quality (sealant slapped on with no attempt to ensure good finish). Many other problems on top of this incl: unfinished joints, cracked vent frames, electrical hook up falling out during transit and grooms door flying open also during transit etc. Equitrek and distributor tried to justify workmanship as being appropriate and tried to give excuses for leaks. In my opinion they are poorly designed and constructed with cheap materials. Wont be buying another....
