Purchased a very nice Equitrek equinox Excel, very low mileage very good condition
Conor was very efficient and knowledgeable made it a quick and easy sale and had the lorry delivered from Yorkshire to Hertfordshire and took my lorry in part exchange

Fantastic service from Conor. Stress free service and everything in place for me coming down from scotland which made the handover quick and easy. Very professional. Took the time to show me how to work everything in the night trekka as ive never had one before. Would definitely recommend to anyone and if I was ever looking for a new trailer I would come here. Absolute shambles of a company to work for. Health and safety is non existent and too much is expected of you in your first week. Not to mention they sack you for breathing oxygen wrong. Also it’s like a primary school, childish arguments between staff and a few of the staff are judgemental and won’t speak to you if you’re not in their “Cliche” get better Equitrek

If you want problems with a brand new horsebox and then have the company you bought it from fob you off, choose Equi-Trek. Considering the 3.5t box was new, the paintwork quickly deteriorated and I’ve been passed from pillar to post ever since and it’s still not sorted. There were also a few other much smaller issues which was not addressed. I expected better from EquiTrek. I was wrong. Never again.

Their service and communication skills are absolutely diabolical.
I was trying to purchase from them, but 7 months on and I am no closer to where I want to be.
I have had to call and chase at every stage.
I have emailed a complaint which has not even been acknowledged.
I want my deposit back, which was never said to be non refundable, but I can't even get a response. It's disgusting. I don't know how they are still trading!

Really disappointing experience. I paid for a second-hand trailer from Equi-Trek, but after repeated failed delivery attempts, I tried to cancel my order. They refused to cancel but assured me they would help resell it. Six months later, nothing has happened, and I’m now stuck with a trailer I don’t want or need. Absolute shambles — I wouldn’t recommend anyone buy a trailer from Equi-Trek.

We have owned equitrek horseboxes since 2009 and have been very happy. We have upgraded twice, in 2019 and again this year. We have formed a great relationship with Conor (Thornton ), who is a friendly face at various dressage events. He has facilitated our two upgrades and has been a pleasure to deal with. Definitely an asset to the company. We are absolutely loving our white &gold Valiant!

Top notch rental. The team helped from start to finish. Gave us a complete rundown on how to use the motor home & supplied all the hardware we needed.

The motorhome itself was amazing & we will be definitely hiring one again next year.

We hired a 7.2t horsebox from the team at Equi-Trek. Good service and a great box to hire

I had a 3.5t horsebox on long term hire, with occasional 7.5t horsebox hire for longer stay aways. The vehicles were always clean, in good repair, relatively new, & easy to drive. Delivered & collected on time by the friendly transport team. Customer service from Izzy is excellent, from sorting out paperwork to answering queries, & dealing with issues, she is friendly & attentive. Great value for money. Would recommend.

After enquiring about a lorry box several weeks ago and arranging to go and view it I was told by their sales team the day before viewing that another member of staff had taken a deposit on that morning for the said vehicle. I was slightly annoyed as I had been lead to believe from the start of the week it was not sold. When I went back on to the company's web site 2 weeks later the vehicle was still been advertised for sale. If their sale had fallen through I would have a thought they might have called me up to let me know.
It is still advertised to this date!!

Very poor customer service. May be I had a lucky escape!

A spur of the moment short notice hire of a motorhome after struggling to find a hotel close to where we needed to be in the Scottish Highlands. 3 hrs after my first call we were on the road. 7 hours later we were in Fort William not bad from Sheffield
If you want the summary .... We loved it..............Having last driven a motorhome 20 years wow they have really improved. They used to be a handful rocking and rolling and plodding along ............Not now easy to drive and easy to handle, everything is provided except your bedding towels and food. The motorhome was clean and not very old, once you suss the control panel out the heating, hot water, and lighting are all great......they are definitely a home on wheels.
We will definitely be hiring again to explore Wales next.... A big thanks to Tracy on reception for all her help and Ian for his words of wisdom

I recently purchased a 3 year old Equi-Trek Trail Treka from Equi-Trek. Unfortunately after using it a handful of times, there was a ramp problem. Thankfully my trailer was still under warranty and Equi-Trek said they'd send someone to fit a new ramp.

Dave Martin from Equi-Trek drove all the way from Huddersfield in England to the Far North of Scotland to replace the ramp for me. Dave was friendly and professional. He was very diligent and didn't stop until the job was complete. He made a suggestion about upgrading the partition holder and organised sending me one in the post. He was also really tidy and took away the old ramp so Equi-Trek could investigate where the fault came from.

I purchased a second hand lorry from Equi Trek (not an Equi Trek). It was delivered to me in Northern Scotland by Dave Martin who also inspected, serviced and cleaned it for me. His attention to detail was great, in fact he kept it a little longer so that he could fully resolve a minor problem. Very happy with the lorry.

I have been to the Sheffield location to pick up several of their hire horseboxes depending on what’s available. Both the reception lady and Isabel who normally goes through the paperwork are always very helpful and pleasant. Paperwork is easy and takes just a few minutes, you pay for the hire including insurance, then you get the chance to inspect your vehicle with Isabel before driving away. I have to say every vehicle I’ve driven has been a pleasure to drive, from their small 3.5T sonic to the 7T evolution. Always clean and tidy with a full tank of fuel, I’ll definitely be back.

There have been some snags with my new Star Treka (collected in February 2025), I expected these purchasing a new model but took the chance as there was a good show offer on and we needed the extra living! Conor was a great salesman, answering all of our questions and not pushy at all - a really refreshing experience!

It's not the snags that concern me but the response and I can not fault Dave Martin. I contacted Conor about the snags as he had dealt with the sale and Dave was in touch the following day.

Dave came down to my local dealership to do the work himself - Dave kept me updated throughout and arranged a convenient time to drop it back down to me.

There were some additional snags (following our first stay aways). I sent Dave photos and videos on what's app and he responded quickly. Dave arranged to come down that week and worked on the trailer on site on Friday afternoon and Saturday morning to ensure it was ready for our competition Sunday.

He works neatly, to a high standard, is solution focused and communicates well. Dave is not only thorough but very personable.

Dave has sorted all the snags and got us back in the road quickly, thank you :-)
