After a hip operation I worked with Gabrielle for my recovery. It was very smooth with the right mix of listening, explanation, and pushing me to progress. She took the time to understand what worked and what didn’t and modifying the program accordingly. I am now back to running freely and don’t think I could have asked for anything more.

Gabrielle at Elite was an outstanding physiotherapist who really took the time to listen and understand my presenting complaint and concerns. She carefully structured a rehab programme with enough key exercises that achieved their aim without being overly time-consuming. And all this was based around my current and future fitness goals, meaning that I was able to continue training and return to my previous level far quicker than I had anticipated. I cannot recommend her or the team at Elite highly enough. Thank you!

Gabi provided amazing 10 months of ACL rehab; she would she always personalise the rehab programme to my weekly needs and my goals of getting back to elite sport.
I was able to make it back on the pitch for the end of my season, playing competitive sport without any concerns or lack of confidence - this truly wouldn’t have been able without her continuing motivation and enthusiasm.

Gabrielle worked with me on rehabilitating my foot and ankle following a broken ankle and the subsequent eight weeks immobilised in a boot. Our aim was to get me from just starting to weight bear in January, to be fit enough for a four day hike in the Mountains in Eryri (Snowdonia) in early May - a target I achieved with Gabrielle's specific exercises.
Gabrielle was a delight to work with, always supportive and encouraging but also urging me on to the next goal.

After initial assessment by Andy, and regular reviews with Emma, I managed to dance at my son's wedding last Saturday! That was the goal I set for myself when I had a total knee replacement operation on my left knee back in November.
I followed the exercise regime Emma gave me and visit Elite's gym twice a week. Within six weeks of the operation, I could drive again and that was a relief.
I would advise anyone planning to have a knee or hip operation to go and speak with someone at Elite. In my experience, the ground work of strengthening my knee muscles before the operation was vital. Of course, no pain no gain, how quickly one recovers depends a lot on how hard one works.

My treatment programme with Gabrielle Jackson was top rate, I couldn't believe the speed of my recovery even at my age (74). She also pinpointed a small amendment to one of my table tennis shots which has allowed me to produce top spin on the backhand, wow.

After severely damaging my ankle last year I thought my amateur footballing days were over, until I met Tom at Elite. With his help I have just returned to playing and I feel great.
He understood what playing meant to me and set me a program of guided exercises and monitored my progress.

After I ruptured my Achilles Tendon last July I selected Elite to help with my rehab. Andy and the rest of the staff were always very helpful modifying my exercise program as I recovered resulting in a good recovery from the injury. Their onsite gym has a good range of machines and exercise equipment.

Fantastic and thorough initial assessment session, after having a skiing accident. Andy was great, and went through a number of tests on my knee, before explaining the injury and providing a first initial plan to help with recovery. Can not recommend highly enough!

Out on a walk & my knee suddenly gave way, no reason and apart from the pain I needed to know what had happened and what to do. I called Elite, I got an appointment with Andy within a few days. I had a great consultation, Andy listened he was very thorough & along with an ultra sound he could diagnose the cause and advise me on treatment. I followed his instructions and returned two weeks later much improved, Andy has given me a program of exercises to do at home to continue my rehabilitation. The option is there to return if I need more help & use the gym if I desire. Everyone was very helpful & professional.

Tom is currently treating my boy Charlie and has seen my other boy before too, Joe, for football related injuries. His customer service is excellent. Tom is warm and approachable and takes time to understand their problems and to listen. He gave them great exercises which Charlie is doing without fail each night to fix his hamstring as desperate to get back to football. Well Done Tom we will see you again and again no doubt. Came to see Andy after a recommendation from a friend. I was suffering with chronic back pain following two herniated discs. I'd seen chiropractors and even had a minor surgery on my back but neither had given me any real improvement. I started out with stretching and then began a strength and conditioning routine. After 4 visits in 6 months it's completely changed my life. I couldn't walk more than a few miles I can now hike all day. Can't recommend them enough, I wish I did it years ago.

I have used Elite Physical Medicine twice - both times as I've prepared for marathons.

I initially was given treatment by Tom Stainer who did a brilliant job both with treatment and training advice ahead of the 2019 London Marathon. Thanks to his help, I completed it without incident.

This year (2021) I visited Andy McCrea who was also brilliant. He even performed several scans to check for possible issues which were really helpful and he also devised a core exercise routine which has really helped.

In summary, I would not hesitate to recommend Elite - every time I have gone there I have come out with loads of expert advice and renewed confidence that I can complete my runs. Thanks very much!

I would highly recommend Nicky at Elite Physical Medicine (Aylesbury) she has been outstanding in helping my 12 year daughter with her sprained foot. Nicky was extremely patient, helpful & caring when treating my daughter who hadn't been able to weight bare for nearly 2 months. Within 3 weeks she was walking again! We had been let down by the loop holes in the NHS and Nicky was our hope and she certainly delivered. I can't thank her enough! Thank you!

I have been to Elite on many occasions after sk ing and football injuries. The service and expertise has been 1st class every time and i would 100% recommend them You get a personal experience and a rehab programme that is not just a page of notes taken from a book (as I have experienced elsewhere) but a programme really tailored to your needs. Great team of people too!

I have been suffering for years with neck pain and headaches, but I am relieved to say they are finally improving after taking advice and following an excellent exercise regime. I’ve always been active and so when I gave birth to my first daughter I was keen to rebuild my fitness and reclaim my activity but knew my body had been through a lot and so I sought some guidance to get back to activity safely and effectively.
Being pregnant and giving birth during Covid times meant face to face appointments or sessions were out of the question but I was pleased to find Gemma’s postnatal zoom sessions. Through the sessions Gemma has supported me to develop my activity levels and capabilities but all in a stage appropriate way. I’ve felt she has a thorough understanding of what a woman’s body goes through and that those effects last much longer that 12 months. Would thoroughly recommend the sessions to any new mums.

I would highly recommend going to see Gemma West for a Mummy MOT. I had a Mummy MOT with her after I had my second baby and it was the best thing I could do for my recovery. Gemma is very supportive and extremely knowledgeable, and has really helped me improve my overall body strength since having 2 babies.
Her postnatal exercise classes have also been invaluable and have definitely helped speed up my recovery.

I was recommended Gemma from my sister, I live 200 miles away so was grateful for the excellent online classes. They were perfectly suited to help me cover after my second, large baby. I had been to a few physio led Pilates classes, but Gemma’s is definitely the best. Gemma is a real expert and is so helpful with support and advice. I couldn’t recommend it more, I think it’s a must for all mums
