Faulty Item. Poor Delivery & Collections.
I am posting this, despite saying to a Customer Service Advisor on the telephone when the 1st fault was advised to them I wouldn’t post a negative review.
However, as this saga unfolded I decided that people should be aware of poor customer satisfaction caused mainly by 3rd parties (UPS & Yodel) involvement or lack of !! Also, in-house quality control.
I ordered from Electromarket (Destiny Entertainments Ltd) an Audizio RP335 on 30th July as Next Day, which arrived on 31st, having set the item up to discover that the Auto-Return did not work on 33rpm 12” LP’s, strange as it may seem it worked on 45rpm 7” singles, both LP and Singles did Auto-Stop eventually. Contacted them on 1st August to advise of the issue, a very helpful guy named Jordan apologised and said they would arrange a replacement and collection on the next working day which was Monday 4th August. I agreed to this providing the replacement item was checked prior to shipping. Jordan advised that he would ask the warehouse to open and check the replacement.
Replacement Goods arrived and faulty item returned via Yodel on 4th Aug. On opening the outer packaging, I noticed that the box the replacement Audizio RP335 was in, still had the original clear tape and was fully sealed. Opened the box to set up the replacement to discover that this item had even more issues than the original, neither Auto-Stop nor Auto-Return were functioning.
Spoke to a different Customer Service Advisor on the Telephone on the 5th Aug to advise that the replacement was also faulty and of the issue of not being checked prior dispatch, he seemed surprised at this ! It was agreed that the 2nd faulty item would be collected by UPS on 7th Aug, and, as soon as it was back at their warehouse a full refund would be made.
Russell contacted me by email mid-afternoon on 7th to advise that UPS were not collecting the package, due to driver shortage, and that the next day they could arrange a collection for was Monday 11th Aug and it would be Yodel. I changed my arrangements for Monday to ensure I was at home for the collection.
Having been advised by Yodel late morning on the 11th that the collection would be between 6:30pm – 8:30pm. Having waited patiently until 7:30pm I checked Yodel tracking, found that the driver was 20 minutes south of my location, 8:20pm checked again only to discover the driver was now 30 minutes north of my location, getting very frustrated and annoyed checked one last time to find the driver was now a further 20 minutes north of the previous location, and Yodels tracking stated that I contact the company whom arranged the collection.
I emailed Electromarket overnight, finally early afternoon on the 12th I received a reply from Jordan that the best way forward was for me to take the package to a UPS parcel return site. Which I did on Wednesday 13th August before the 11am cut-off time.
I was totally annoyed at this as my closest drop-off point was a 20.20 mile round trip and even more frustrated at the additional costs involved with all the wasted time, fuel costs and packaging tape, printer ink. I have requested a financial recompense by them which they have to date rejected.
The goods refund has been received as of 15th Aug.

Called this company twice now for information and technical assistance, and spoke to Mike in sales both times, and I’m guessing this was a coincidence, but what a guy. Great knowledge and very helpful, so much so both calls ended up with me making a purchase from Mike. He took on making sure my order was processed and delivered the next day.

I spent 1 hr on the phone with Paul who helped me decide what systems and accessories to select based on my specific requirements. He recommended a variety of products based on value for money for me, not what was the most expensive.
The products were shipped and received the very next day and were fantastic quality - especially given the very reasonable price. The Vonyx speaker and wireless mics were outstanding quality. I also ordered a cover for my speaker and wires for my electric drum kit.
The team have been amazing as I wanted to return one of my products which was a different brand of wired mic, they quickly got this sorted for me, no messing around.
Highly recommend ElectroMarket - will definitely be returning

This was an exchange for a new item for a faulty B stock item which electromarket handled rapidly and professionally.
The new AV120BT is a cracking little amplifier. Sturdy and simple.
The instruction leaflet is dire, but there's not much to work out!

The website was easy to navigate and the prices are reasonable and competitive. Once I made my purchase the communication was very good. I was told when the order was dispatched and out for delivery. The product was well packaged and as described. A great experience overall.

Update:
Soon after posting my review Electromarket asked me to contact them directly. I phoned and got through easily and they already knew who I was. They then arranged for the original item that had gone awol with Yodel to be recalled and a new order to be sent out that day via DPD. Less than 24hrs later I have a very happy husband with a very large speaker. I did say I felt my poor review may be a little unfair as my grievance was the delivery but the follow up service was excellent and very much appreciated!
I feel that this may a bit unfair to Electromarket as it really is to do with their courier Yodel. Ultimately though, they choose their courier and they are abysmal! I placed an order at 8.30am on Thursday which should be next day delivery. Having waited in all day there was no delivery. Yodels tracking said it would be delivered afternoon or evening but didn't state it was 'out for delivery'. I got onto them this morning (saturday) and got a timeslot for 13.36- 15.36. No delivery but Yodels tracking said it was out for delivery and just before 5 there was only one stop before me. Well- nobody arrived and I checked the tracking again and 'out for delivery' had reverted to 'we've got it'. I believe Yodel don't delivery on Sunday so the soonest will now be Monday, fingers crossed! Electromarket, sort your couriers out! Two days I've wasted hanging around. This is a £200 item and I expected better! Hopefully the item will be worth it if and when it arrives@
