At the time your order was placed on 5 January, the turntable was clearly advertised as “Available for delivery around 15/01/26” due to high demand over the Christmas and New Year sale period. While we normally carry this item in stock, it had temporarily sold out and the expected delivery date was shown on the product page.
Before processing your order, our sales team contacted you within 24 hours to confirm that you were aware of the expected delivery timeframe and to ensure it met your expectations. Unfortunately, despite information provided by our supplier, their UK shipment was unexpectedly delayed while in transit, which was outside of our control.
To help resolve the situation, we offered alternative options, including a different colour or a discounted upgrade to the next model.
We sincerely regret that we were unable to complete your order as planned and understand how disappointing this was. Providing clear information and good customer service is very important to us, and your feedback helps us continue to improve.

Excellent service. Ordered a Dyson V11. It was competitively priced with free delivery via DPD. Had message at 8 am of a 1 hour delivery slot later that day (along with the required code) and it arrived bang on time. Cannot fault this company and will be using them again.

Be warned! Charged me £15 because of 2 failed delivery attempts. First of all I ordered a hoover for my Dad as he is old and doesn't do well with technology. The first delivery attempt they asked him for a code I must've missed that but WHY do they need a code to deliver a hoover??? They have the name and address why not just ask for a signature? Then the 2nd delivery attempt was at 7:30am on Jan 3rd... He wasn't awake. They called me and said I had to pay £15 for another delivery!!! Absolutely not I said, Please refund my money. So they refunded me and took £15!!! Have you ever had to pay £15 for a failed delivery? Disgraceful. Just use another company that don’t apply these ridiculous charges.

We have carefully reviewed your order history and delivery details and would like to clarify the situation. At the time the order was placed, the confirmation email clearly stated—in bold—that a PIN would be required for DPD’s secure delivery service. During particularly busy periods, this service replaces signature-only delivery to reduce the risk of parcels being left unattended or stolen.
Ahead of both delivery attempts, DPD provided a one-hour delivery time slot along with the required PIN via email and text message. We also contacted you directly on both occasions to assist with the delivery. Unfortunately, both delivery attempts were unsuccessful.
As explained during our phone conversation prior to the second attempt, unsuccessful deliveries incur delivery and return carriage charges. In this case, these amounted to approximately £20 and were incurred due to the courier’s delivery attempts and the subsequent return of the parcel.
All of the above information is documented and supported by delivery records and call recordings. We take allegations of misconduct seriously and respectfully refute the claim made in your review.
We regret that this experience did not meet your expectations and appreciate the opportunity to clarify the matter.

Probably the best online shopping…
Probably the best online shopping experience I’ve ever had with ElectricShop!
There was over £100 discount for my new Dyson product. The order went smoothly and was delivered in a couple of days. The delivery driver was excellent as he brought the product up 3 flights of stairs and was kind and patient as I got my phone for the code number to prove it’s my purchase.
I’d highly recommend you do yourself a favour and shop at ElectricShop!

Fast despatch and delivery with product competitively priced
Sebo X7 vacuum cleaner ordered Sunday evening. Delivered Tuesday evening by DPD within the alloted timeslot. Plastic wrapping applied with care to protect the vacuum box. Very happy with the service from electricshop.com and DPD. Previous vacuum was a Sebo X4 that lasted 16 years so I'm sure the X7 will not disappoint.

I found Electric shop to be amazing!
I found Electric shop to be the cheapest for a hoover I wanted. This is my first time ordering for them but I have not been disappointed.
Reasonably priced and amazing customer services. I missed my first delivery and they personally phoned me to arrange a new delivery, explaining it would be sent back if I wasn’t in. They really did go above and beyond.
My hoover was packaged well and arrived safely!
I will definitely order again from Electric Shop, thanks for being fabulous!
