Great price, great product, great service. Its just a shame the delivery guy decided to leave the cordless vacuum on the doorstep in full view of the world. Luckily, I was unexpectedly at home and it was nothing embarrassing, but you would've thought he knew what a doorbell is for or followed my "not at home" instructions!! Also waiting to hear if the manufacturers free extended warranty applies.

Great Business
As usual ordering is simple and delivery was very quick. We can highly recommend and have found their customer service fab if there is ever a problem.

Poor aftercare / service
Great initial service ordering a product online and next day delivery.
After this our fault - we realised our product didn’t fit and tried to arrange a collection and refund. This is when everything went wrong. Countless phone calls and email trails with no success. Sometimes no answer or told someone will call back and no one did.
Took nearly 3 weeks to arrange a collection. Email arrived following this advising a refund would be processed within 2-3 days. Still waiting over a week later.

We are so sorry for the poor communication on our end. This isn't normal protocol and I have raised your review with Management to see if we can look in to why this happened and how we can improve. I would understand if you chose not to shop with us again based on your experience, but please be assured we usually are much better at communicating and based on your review, will only try to be better in the future!

Item arrived with broken seal and resealed box
I ordered a Miele Guard L1 vacuum cleaner from Donaghy Bros, order number #3000289827.
The main issue is that the box arrived with the original factory seal already broken and the packaging had clearly been re-taped. There were also two scratches on the body of the vacuum cleaner, and I have photos showing both the packaging and the scratches.In my opinion, this does not match a genuinely new item. The product may be genuine, but it was not delivered in new, unopened condition.
Because I needed the vacuum urgently, I used it once, but that does not change the fact that it arrived with opened packaging and was not as described. I also took photos of the box and the tape, which clearly show the condition it arrived in.
I am very disappointed because I expected a new product, not one that appeared to have been opened before delivery. I will be pursuing this as a not-as-described issue.

I've liaised with my colleagues in the Service department, and it appears your initial complaint was sent to the wrong mailbox (returns instead of service) so it wasn't picked up over the weekend when you raised this query. Excellent Customer Service
I have had a really positive experience with Donaghy Bros. I ordered an air fryer from them which turned out to be faulty and within a few days they had collected the air fryer and sent out a new one, all free of charge. Excellent customer service and would definitely recommend them. Thank you!
