If I could give Eddie Bauer a negative star, I would. Do not buy from them their customer service is terrible and I will not be buying from them again. I usually don’t leave reviews but I am warning others so they won’t waste their money or have to go through what I went through. Never again!!!

EB sent my order to the wrong address. I saw this right away, called them immediately, since they have a 30 minute window to correct their mistake. The rep said I need to call the carrier once I receive an email that my order is shipped. Thus began 7 calls back and forth between EB and UPS who wouldn't change the address. I've lost money on this order.

Placed an order at 9pm. Emailed seconds after because we noticed an item was in the cart that should not have been (checking to see if a coupon applied). Their "customer service" said there was no way to remove the item from the order. OR to cancel the order. I will have to wait for it to ship, receive it, then contact them. Joke of customer service.

I bought a jacket last week in the store for my husband and it was the wrong size. We accidentally recycled the receipt but the tags were on and I had the purchase on my credit card app. It showed the exact amount which still matches current price in store. I called to see if store could return. I was told a manager could look up receipt- I needed to come in to the store and that the 14th would be good. I drove to the store. Arriving at the store, I was told that the company did not trust its employees to look up receipts by credit card. I would have to call customer service. They gave me the number. From the store I called and a man spent 40 minutes to an hour asking me questions that were irrelevant- about my online order. I had to tell him repeatedly, I bought it in the same store in which I was standing and I just needed him to look up the purchase to get the receipt. At the end of the ridiculously long call, he said he couldn’t help me. Rather, a “specialty team” would need to do it and would get back to me by the 17th. No one has replied. No matter where else I have ever shopped in the last decade or more, if I give my credit card, they can find my receipt - that includes Nordstrom‘s the Gap, everywhere. This experience was stunningly prehistoric and infuriating. I almost always get Eddie Bauer jackets for my family members at Christmas and that’s what I was trying to do this year - replace an expensive EB jacket I bought just last year because the zipper had broken. And then I learned they don’t trust their employees and can’t give me even the most basic customer service. I can’t imagine what the holidays will be like when other people don’t have their receipts. Switching now to North Face. It’s right next door.

Called to correct the address. Website wouldn’t allow it. Raul said he couldn’t. Told no supervisor available but that they would within 24 hours. Never did. So my $200 + order gets shipped to the wrong address.

I bought a comforter from HomeSense, brought it home and washed it. When I put it on my bed I noticed a tear where stitching had already come undone, loose threads, and it seemed the green dye had leaked onto the cream fabric.

I am extremely unimpressed as I paid a lot for the comforter and I thought Eddie Bauer was a reputable brand. The quality of this comforter was beyond disappointing.

Customer service is a joke. Received an email from "amber" with regards to a product issue. Contacted Customer Service because "amber's" email address kept bouncing. Was told that Amber didn't exist, that the entire email was accidentally generated by their system (assuming amber is AI). Basically, they said any assistance by a customer service agent was in error and they did not care!

A Wonderful lady named Tina at Limeridge mall whom was instrumental in getting my gift card refunded.She truely was diligent and so apologetic about my mishap waiting for my refund I commend her Thanks Tina Lori M.

Ordered a coat in the store in person because they didn't have the size I needed in the store. They charged my card 3 times. They promised to fix it immediately & send an email update. They removed 1 of the 2 extra charges, no email. My coat also arrived while I was home, no doorbell or knock and it was addressed to a different person, but my address. I checked the tracking before opening it, & it said it wasn't delivered or even due for another 2 weeks... What is going on there? I still have to get the 2nd extra charge reversed. Can't trust them anymore.

Their products are decent, but their customer support is absolutely terrible. I placed two orders on October 20th and received tracking numbers, but the tracking hasn’t been updated since that day. When I called Eddie Bauer, I was told that both orders were lost and that I should place new ones.

So, I reordered the same items yesterday and paid an extra $35 for express shipping, since it’s getting very cold here in Ottawa and my 10-year-old really needs a hat and gloves. Express shipping is supposed to take 1–4 business days, yet the tracking shows an estimated delivery date of November 17th!

I contacted Eddie Bauer again, and all they said was to reach out if the package doesn’t arrive within four business days. At this point, I have very little faith they’ll actually do anything to help.

I ordered 3 t-shirts and one tank top. I have always taken a size M, so I ordered that size. I should have tried on the tops before I cut the tags and threw away the bags. The shirts are small, there is no "tag"in the seam, they are not 100 percent cotton. I have been wearing these t-shirts for 30 years. It is time for me to move on. So dissapointed-- not worth the money!!

My comment only refers to their lined men’s pants. I usually buy several pairs each winter. I had a road trip and found the pants perfect. My wallet was secure in the back zip pocket and my phone fit well in a front zip pocket. Good fit and did not look like cargo pockets.

I purchased 3 long sleeve tee shirts from online. The tees are great except for the fact that they're not long enough to tuck into your pants. Some people enjoy walking around with their belly exposed, but I'm here to tell you I'm not one of them. Come on Eddie Baur, if you're going to sell tee shirts at least make them long enough to tuck in. I purchased some short sleeve tees from LL Bean, and they go halfway to your knees. I also purchased sweatpants that I have to admit are great and yes, I will buy them again next time. Sweatpants are a 5 star!!

I’ve had a credit card, but I really only use it in the Fall and Christmas time. I really don’t care for the summer clothing. So I went in found a few items went to use my card and they it was no longer good because the company changed bank cards. The employees told me I could reapply on my phone right then and there. 45 minutes later the employees and the process couldn’t be completed. So I said I would try at home and that was a no go again. Back to the store to use another card. What is happening is the same thing to another customer, he said hopefully someday I will be able to purchase clothes. Hey Eddie Bauer you are losing sales.

The sleeves on women’s plus sizes are now much narrower. I couldn’t bend my elbow in a 1x.

Placed an order on Aug 29. Did not even ship for over a week, and has still not been delivered over 2 weeks later. Customer service was less than useless. Have purchased MANY things from Eddie Bauer over the years, but they have now lost another customer. Shipping and customer service problems seem to be the norm.

I was at the Eddie Bauer outlet in the outlet collections of Niagara.
The salesperson there was not very helpful when I asked him to look on line for an item that they didn't have my size for. He didn't want to do it and said that they normally don't do that. I said that my favourite store always did that for me.
He was not pleasant and I felt like he was not into being there.

When Eddie Bauer Co was still family owned, their products were durable and had a unique, vintage style. The company was sold several times and the latest sale was to a conglomerate that owns several brands (Authentic Brands Group and SPARC Group LLC). Now they just make crap along with all the other brands owned by the conglomerate. This quality dilution is common when companies are sold because it's all about profit.
I no longer buy Eddie Bauer products anymore.

Quality has gone down significantly through the years. They supposedly have a lifetime warranty, however they will not accept a return unless the item is unworn and still has its tags on must be returned within 60 days. The manager at the the Winnipeg store told me that I couldn’t return a tee that I washed once and which shrank 3.5 inches in length!! I let him know that I washed the tee in cool water and used the delicate or lowest dryer setting and he informed me that tumble dry low means dry with no heat which is total CRAP!!!
