Easyspace make a point of impossible…
Easyspace make a point of impossible customer service. I have had trouble keeping up payments on direct debit ( even though money to pay at required time ). So when I ring I get an angry Scottish woman ( no offence to Scots in general ) whose explanations are incomprehensible. Tread where you dare but avoid the stare !

Very Poor Abusive Customer Service !
@Easyspace Having asked for extra storage a year ago have been charged twice for the same package, asked for a refund got the so called Head of complaints refusing to refund and threatening to close my account down ! Only been a customer for 12 years Zero Customer Service

A mix of experiences.
My experiences have been mixed:
1) What I liked was that when I had a problem and used chat, support attempted to resolve the issue (it was about FTP not working) and did an honest job of trying various logical steps. Unfortunately, the support could not resolve the issue and was going to log a ticket. However, I had already logged a ticket on the same so this was not particularly helpful. Also, I was hoping that my logged issue would receive a speedier resolution (the first response I received reasonably quickly - the morning after I logged the issue, but no one responded to my reply/clarifications).
2) What I liked was that I found that I got more space for hosting. What I did not like is that I found it only when I logged into the system. I should have been informed by email when this happened. However, it is possible, that I may have missed the email.
3) What I dislike is that the services are of higher cost than alternative providers. On the other hand, I feel that hosting with easyspace is more controllable and perhaps even safer than hosting with big players like Google.

Moving Nameservers
I had an urgent issue when I moved Nameservers back to Easyspace, I contacted the team quite early in the morning using the online chat, they understood the issue straight away and were able to add DNS entries for me on the back end, all before 9:00am. I cant express the value of this level of service

Excellent service and support
Have used easyspace for several years, and have always had excellent service and support. Most recently had an issue with logging in to website software, but this was sorted within minutes by a helpful agent. Highly recommended whether you use for domains or full service.

Good customer service
The good thing about Easyspace is that you can always get a real (Scottish!) person on the phone or on the help chat. The services they provide are as good as anyone else's. Price-wise, probably not the cheapest, but everything seems to work as it should.

Great Support
Easyspace registered a domain name for my music website many years ago, which I now only use to forward on to my Bandcamp page and provide an alias email address.
They have always provided support when needed, and recently acted very quickly to correct a problem with my email forwarding within the day.
Great support for a full range of services in a friendly manner. Highly recommended.

Very poor service and customer relations
I have been running a website for 20 years. I started with Easyspace in the early days, but they charged me for something that I did not order and would not refund me. So, I went to GoDaddy for the hosting who were good but as my domain name was registered with Easyspace, I reverted to them a couple of years ago. Initially I used a shared server which worked fine but sometimes could be a little slow. So, 15 months ago, I then moved to a cloud server with Easyspace at higher cost.
Since moving to this server, the website has not been working satisfactorily in that the email generation to confirm an order sometimes worked and sometimes didn't. Sometimes, the server shut down completely. So, I was regularly (once a day) having to restart the server.
I complained about this for over a year, but nothing was done. Easyspace said that I needed more CPU - so I purchased this but that did not work. Eventually they admitted that there was something wrong with the server.
Now they wish to charge me more for a new server with no refund or compensation (though they have offered free migration). They will not refund the cost of the additional CPU despite the fact that it made no difference.
As this website is a business website, I have obviously lost money. This has been the last straw and I will be closing the business once stock is reduced as a result.

Terrible experience!!
Terrible experience!!! I was waiting on a chat for 40 minutes before the support bod answered my first question and they refused to answer as to why the domain was not repointing externally. Instead they churned out a response that they couldn't support anything on an external server. This was completely unnecessary as the domain hadn't got to pointing externally yet, lol. They kept churning out the response that two A records wouldn't work (which is one of the options when pointing to WPEngine Advanced Network). I asked can I not have 2 A records pointing to two IPs? The answer was, 'yes you can have two A records pointing to two IPs'. Whether this is the best approach is somewhat irrelevant as it should still be able to point externally. All I needed was to either point two A records to two IPs or a CNAME. Neither worked so I gave up and pointed 1 A record to 1 IP which gives reduced performance with WPEngine servers.
Update:
Thanks for your response. I appreciate it. Unfortunately, I am not a customer and any future time spent discussing this will have to be paid by my boss or by the client. If you could drop me an email an answer the questions I initially asked that would be the best use of time. Thanks
