Dreams surveys ask you about the delivery team, the products, the sales team but never about the customer service team who in truth are arrogant, unhelpful and misguided. I'm unable to put in writing to customer services what I (the customer) wants. They only want you to call and discuss, nothing in writing, why is that? Because there'll be no record of their appalling behaviour, they're not customer focused at all.

The bed is great.
What you could have done better.
The bed was already delayed by 6 weeks but was told we'll in advanced. So 3 days before the new delivery date i phoned to have it confirmed. The employee at Peterborough said if I haven't heard anything it will be delivered as planned and I would get a call the day before. But completely refused to check not giving me a lot of confidence.
Secondly the bed had a tv at the bottom. I have had new wardrobes fitted and carpet in preparation for the bed. I also had an electrician run a socket under the carpet that came out under the TV which the fitter completely refused to use..
I asked him to show me how to get to said plug to do it myself and he refused saying it was against company policy. I asked if he would run it phone charger instead up to where the TV came out and he said he didn't understand but found it easy enough to plug the aerial lead up and into the TV ok.
He kept saying it's against company policy but isn't it against company policy to lift very heavy parts upstairs on your own. He had a mate and I offered to help but insisted on doing it himself. If your going to preach company policy then you keep to it 100%.
I would also debate if it was as I was also having a new induction hob fitted and the electrician had to run the wiring under the floor boards of the bedroom and down into the kitchen.
I told him about the bed and the electrician run the plug under the carpet for me along with the aerial. I told your fitter this but didn't want to know saying he had a long lead to reach a plug in the wall.
I even have an electrical certificate

Would just like to say that i have just had a phone call from Dreams to say that they will be looking into the matter.
They have assured me that they will be talking to their staff about flexibility, so if somebody else has made the effort to do things so that they don't keep tripping over wires that their requests will be considered more favourable.

Staff helpful when choosing item in showroom. Delivery was as stated when ordering. Delivery men were helpful, explained what they were doing (building the bed) and made sure I understood about the lifting mechanism. Wore overshoes when in house

Great customer service in store and delivery picking and delivery of mattress - great comms - convenient delivery slot - lot of choice to match budget - mum very happy thank you

Brandon was a very informed and friendly sales person who helped me choose the best bed and mattress for my needs. The paperwork process was easy enough, delivery was on the day agreed and the guys were prompt and did the job of old bed collection and assembling my new one swiftly. Great all round experience ☺️💤

I recently purchased a mattress from your Peterborough branch.it was delivered today. The sales rep at the time of purchase was very friendly , he told me about the £50 recycling charge and I said I was disabled and my husband has severe arthritis and that was a help so I paid that too. At No point did he mention that I also needed to pay £29 for the delivery drivers to help my husband up the stairs with the new matttress. So when the new mattress was delivered we were just left to get a king size mattress up the stairs. I rang the shop and complained and the sales rep who dealt with us at the time of purchase answered he was very arrogant and condescending,I said I told you I was disabled and my husband was more or less as well and he more or less called me a liar that he had told me about the £29 fee and said in not so many words if you don’t like it complain ,it’s your word against mine and they’re not going to believe you . If this is how you treat elderly and disabled customers it’s appalling!

We enjoyed the sale process thank you - we were treated really nicely - offered hot drinks and a very affable salesman. The delivery date was longer than we had hoped for but the salesman did such a lovely job we were pleased to put business his way

Great in-store customer service

I thought I'd treat myself to a good quality mattress, so it would last me many years (10 years, so they advertise!!)
I spent all my savings on a Tempur mattress thinking it would last me 10 years or at least near it. How wrong was I
Just after One year the mattress is so soft I sink in it that low (I am of a small frame by the way, weighing 8.5 -9 stone) during the night. I wake up in pure annoy on my shoulders 😒

I've just had the technical guy out. Who says there is nothing wrong with the mattress. How can they test a mattress by laying on it for a few mins? A nights sleep is a normal 6-7 hours!!
I've been into the store, where an assistant told me to buy a mattress topper. OMG!! One year into buying a £2,000 mattress, you have to buy a topper to make it comfortable!!! So basically a £2,000 mattress will only last you one year!! I wish they had told me that when I brought the mattress....

I dread going to bed at night now, knowing I'll wake up in pure annoy.
Yes I brought the mattress topper, was ok for the first 2 weeks. Now back to pain (was so lovely waking up with no pain)
It is now starting to really stress me out and making me so depressed over the whole thing 😢😫
I can't afford another mattress and I feel so disheartened that a good store like Dreams have No customer interest at all.

Yes I had the mattress for a year. But paying £2,000 for a mattress which i can prove is causing me ill health, is so wrong.
Even after going into the store explaining everything the Manager. Who tried his best to help me out. Was told to give me the offer of 10% off my next mattress!!
Well I've has time to think about the offer. No Thank you. I'll go somewhere else.

Do not buy go somewhere else!!

Driving team gave me a window. Then told me that they had cancellations so they were coming earlier. I was not home and had to cut another appointment short to run home. Then when I got there they dropped off the bed….in pieces, and then told me assembly cost extra. OK, wish they would have told me that at Dreams. I point out the mattress and box spring for pick up, walk in the house for a minute look out the door and they are just taking the mattress, and said the box springs would be another 50£. Now I have to hire someone to pick up the box springs, Another disappointment. During the assembly, it called for a wooden mallet, who keeps one of those in the house. I ended up just using a book and a hammer. The beds nice though

Great experience at Dreams recently, when buying a new mattress for the first time in years. I had a vague idea of what I wanted for my aches and pains, but the use of technology helped enormously in making my choice. The staff were attentive when needed, but disappeared when we were trying and discussing the various options. Amazing amount of options for every budget and the ability to try each one was a big plus.
And quick delivery too.

Great and knowledgable advice in store and the delivery went without a hitch. I was worried that any mattress I liked in the shop might turn out to be wrong once I got it home but it’s brilliant. I didn’t spend a fortune either. Thanks
