I had a great trip organised by Chrizaan.
Everything went very smoothly including all of the pickups, flights and accommodation.

I visited Namibia and loved seeing the dunes, springboks and oryx.

I also visited the Okavango Delta and saw so many animals including all of the big 5.

I would definitely recommend Discover Africa.

I was recommended Discover Africa by a friend who raved about them for their African Safari adventure and they didn't disappoint. From the start the communication was timely, despite the time zone difference, and the advice was thorough and precise. It seemed to me that our agent, Susan, was always available no matter what time I was communicating with her. More than that she regularly checked in with me during our trip to make sure all was going well and checked us in for all our internal flights ahead of time.
The first thing Susan did was to find out what we wanted from our trip and then used that to tailor an itinary that met all our desires. Susan's intimate knowledge of tourism in Africa had us booked into game reserves and guides in South Africa and Kenya which had all the big 5 on display plus more. The accommodation and tour guides she organised were fantastic.
Thanks to Susan we have had an African adventure taking in Karongwe and Masai Mara game reserves, Victoria Falls and the beautiful city of Cape Town which has provided photos, videos and memories we will cherish for the rest of our lives.
The service we recieved from Discover Africa was exceptional and went beyond our expectations. I couldn't recommend them more highly.

We have just returned from the most incredible 2 week trip in Africa, travelling to Kruger National Park, Cape Town and Victoria Falls - it was made all the more special by the incredible guidance, planning and organisation of Discover Africa, specifically Cayleigh. During the planning stage, nothing was ever too much trouble - they went to great lengths to listen to what we wanted in terms of destinations and type of accommodation and it all ended up being EXACTLY what we were looking for! The trip itself was seamless, with every single pre-arranged transfer and activity being on schedule. Cayleigh also provided contact details and checked in on us during the trip, to ensure everything was going smoothly. There is also a post trip check-in. Discover Africa provide an extraordinary service and we cannot recommend them highly enough!

In terms of the trip itself, there are just too many highlights to list but some of them were - extraordinary animals on safari and absolutely gorgeous Thornybush Lodge in Kruger, penguins and Table Mountain in Cape Town and basically everything in Zimbabwe - Shongwe Lookout was an intimate boutique hotel, sunset cruise (so many hippos!), elephant encounter, Victoria Falls and Lookout cafe, visit to a local village and the Simunye: Spirit of Africa show. We just want to go back and do it all again!

I can honestly say this was one of the best travel experiences I’ve ever had — and a lot of that is down to the exceptional planning and support from Megan and the team. This is not the first time we have travelled with Go2Africa and it won’t be the last!

From the first conversation, the whole process was effortless. Their knowledge, patience, and attention to detail gave us total confidence before we even stepped on the plane. During the safari, they checked in to make sure everything was running smoothly, which was such a reassuring touch. Even after returning home, their follow-up support showed a level of care you rarely see.

The safari itself was unforgettable. Highlights for us were seeing animals from the Shalati train, lions at sunrise, elephants casually strolling past our lodge, and a rare leopard sighting that felt straight out of a nature film. The guides were outstanding — incredibly skilled, passionate, and full of fascinating insights. The lodges were beautiful, comfortable, and perfectly located, with warm hospitality and amazing food.

If you’re thinking about booking a safari, do it — but do it with them. They don’t just plan a trip, they create memories that stay with you forever.

This was our first time going on a Safari, and also the first time using a travel expert to organise part of our trip. I was so impressed with how quick and easy the whole process was and Chrizaan tailored our experience to meet our travel needs whilst providing recommendations / tips for some really special and unique safari lodges.

We had a great trip in Namibia. In 11 days we did a roundtrip, which was organised through online meetings. Every thing went on as agreed on and ver smoothly. We had a very good guide/driver, who explained us a lot about the country, politics, history and most importantly about the scenery we were enjoying as well as the wildlife we were seeing. The lodges we stayed in were very comfortable, the food was excellent. The trip itself was run by Namibia tours and Safari.

We were initially overwhelmed with all of the options for African Safaris when we first started planning our trip. Luckily, Discover Africa responded promptly to our initial request for information and we were quickly scheduled for an initial consult with Adelle Bell.

Adelle presented several options and really listened to our feedback to tailor a perfect week in the African bush for our honeymoon. She took care of absolutely everything for us besides the international flights, which was a big weight off our shoulders after just planning so much time planning our wedding ourselves. She was also extremely communicative throughout the planning process and while we were on the ground the week of our honeymoon as well.

We spent 3 nights at Motswari in the Timbavati Private Game Reserve followed by 3 nights at Arathusa in Sabi Sands Private Game reserve. Both lodges and reserves surpassed our expectations. Motswari felt like a much more traditional and authentic safari experience, while Arathusa felt more up-scale and resort like. The staff and hospitality at both were fantastic, and the game drives surpassed our expectations immediately.

If you are considering booking a vacation to Africa, I would highly recommend booking through Discover Africa and asking for Adelle specifically. She will knock it out of the park!

From start to finish, every phase of our trip was seamless. From the man who greeted us at Nairobi airport when we arrived to the woman who assisted us at our departure, we were taken care of perfectly. Our lodges at Saruni Samburu and Saruni Mara were beautiful. The staff was welcoming and we had genuine conversations that gave us an appreciation of their culture. Matthys at Discover Africa listened to our priorities. He communicated well and made our remarkable safari to Kenya a dream come true.

Since Discover Africa has organizaed my first tour in 2019, I have been visited Africa for 6 times, always with Discover Africa. This time, I saw the most beautiful sunset of all my life. And visiting this magic land several times, you discover how difficult it is for everybody : humans, animals and nature. For me, I always learnt so much in every visit.

Amazing honeymoon - we had the best experience with Susan and Discover Africa in planning our honeymoon. Everything went smoothly and all the lodges / guides were incredible. She also put some special touches like a surprise dinner in the bush and a private spot for breakfast which really made the trip feel even more special. She was a great sounding board throughout the planning process as well. We could not recommend Discover Africa enough!

Everything was more than what I expected. From the safari drives to the lodging and food was five star. At the camps, one was pampered. Everyone was personable and made me feel at home. The entire trip was wonderful!

Discover Africa planned a fabulous trip for us! The travel planner came up with an itinerary that included everything we wanted; the trip was extremely well organized; the accommodations were lovely; and the activities were fun and interesting. We especially loved the Queen Victoria Hotel in Capetown near the V&A waterfront and Beck’s Lodge in South Africa. The management at Beck’s was so friendly and helpful, our safari guide and tracker were extremely knowledgeable and personable, and the chefs were outstanding. I highly recommend Discover Africa!

We booked our safari adventures in Kenya and Tanzania with Susan at Discover Africa. The trip was nothing short of amazing, one of the best safari experiences we have ever enjoyed. Susan was thoughtful and patient throughout the planning process and really took time to understand what we wanted in a safari. Her recommendations were perfectly on point for us and our travel needs. All logistical elements were smooth, and the services and amenities at both lodges that Susan recommended were exceptional. Our stay at Nimali Mara was particularly special with guide, Benson, offering us not only great sightings, but amazing animal interactions - from curious lion cubs playing (some still in the den) to lions mating to a lion challenging hyenas to access a watering hole! Our big cat experiences were truly top notch. Thank you Susan for arranging such a special and memorable vacation for us; we will surely be in touch to plan our next African adventure.

We travel a lot. I don’t normally write reviews and I typically plan and book everything myself because I am very exacting when it comes to the itinerary, logistics, accommodations, activities, etc. – everything must be perfect. When planning this trip, I vetted and researched at least 10 top-rated companies (including phone interviews) and reviewed a dozen itineraries before beginning to work with Discover Africa and Susan Veldman.
We were a group of 2 couples traveling together on a complex itinerary with high expectations, a restricted amount of time, and a budget range. Susan was patient, professional, friendly, and expertly knowledgeable. She worked with all of our parameters, spent hours on Zoom calls with me, and put together a lifetime experience trip to Tanzania and several other locations that was seamless and exceptional. In addition, Susan checked in with me regularly during our trip to make sure that everything was going well.
We had it all – incredible private guides, perfectly located accommodations, a great combination of luxury and simplicity to meet our desired experience at each location, and enriching experiences.
While on the trip, I was also pleased to hear from independent local operators that Discover Africa is highly regarded in the industry as an ethical company that is one of the best.
Save time and effort – I have done all of the work for you! (lol) – I highly recommend Susan at Discover Africa for your safari dreams!

Megan with Discover Africa did an excellent job planning our trip. We are from the US and it was so great to get her help. It made our trip so much easier. We flew into Cape Town and were there a few days. Then we were flown to Kruger National Park. Our stay was at Jocks Lodge. This place was fabulous. It is completely what you would want on a safari. We were taken on 2 drives per day and we found all of the Big 5 and much more! Jacob was so informative. He knew so much detail about each animal and the vegetation. After 3 nights it was time to fly to Victoria Falls. Megan booked Insika Lodge. This place is gorgeous. We toured the Falls AND booked a Walk with the Lions tour. It was simply amazing! The Falls are beautiful. And petting a lion and walking with 3 lions in the bush was a once in a lifetime treat!
We then flew back to Cape. Stayed a few more days then flew home
Getting to and from Africa was separate from the rest of our trip. It was so well planned and our homes away from home were exactly what we would pick out ourselves. I cannot say enough good things!

I chose a travel agency for four reasons. Years in business, quantity and quality of reviews, customizable, and local. Discover Africa and my agent Adelle met or exceeded all expectations. I gave Adelle my budget and modified one of their suggests tours. Five stars

We just completed our second African safari planned by Megan Warrington, this one to Botswana, and we couldn't have been more pleased with our trip! Megan did a fantastic job of starting us out in the Kalahari (Tau Pan Camp) which was unique in its landscape and some of the animals that you see including the Oryx. You don't see as many animals as in other locations, which would be expected in the desert, but the experience was wonderful and we are glad we started there. Our next stop was in the Okavango Delta (Splash Camp) which exceeded our lofty expectations. Before we made it to our camp from the landing strip we saw a leopard and hundreds of various animals including giraffes, zebras, elephants, etc. While in the delta we saw another leopard, a large pride of lions that were resting in trees, which is very unusual, hundreds (estimated at 600) buffalo and we actually experienced a lion hunt where a group of four siblings successfully secured a young buffalo. Our last stop was on the Kwando River (Lagoon Camp) and this was actually the jewel of the trip. There weren't as many prey animals as in the delta, but predators were abundant and the hippos were unbelievable. We saw 3 leopards, two young brothers together and another very shy female, many lions from a couple of prides included several mature males, 2 cheetahs (brothers that traveled and hunted together), and a small pack of African Wild Dogs including 4 adults and 6 puppies. Our guides and trackers were exceptional at all locations, but Mr. T stood out at Kwando's Lagoon camp. All of our stays were at Kwando camps and I will write them a separate review, but they were fantastic! Back to Megan, we thought that the lengths of stays and the order of our stays was perfect and very well planned. She is so easy to work with and truly tries to meet your personal goals and experiences for the trip. We thought this may be our last trip to Africa, but we are now fully onboard to come back, likely in a few years with our grown children. There is no question that we will revisit Botswana, we can't say enough about the people, the landscape and the wildlife, they are all lovely.

We booked our safari through Chrizaan and the whole experience was absolutely fantastic. From the very beginning, communication was smooth and easy – both via email and WhatsApp – which made the planning process stress-free.

Despite our limited availability, she managed to secure our flights, transfers, and an amazing tented lodge for the exact dates we needed. Everything was perfectly organized: confirmations, payments, and all travel documents were clear and sent well in advance.

During the trip, everything ran seamlessly, and we even had the incredible luck of seeing the Big Five, hippos, rhinos, giraffes, and so much more – truly unforgettable. The lodge itself was excellent: the food was delicious, and they even adapted meals to be gluten free for my partner, which was such a thoughtful detail and made a big difference to our stay.

The service exceeded our expectations, both in quality and in value for money. I would 100% recommend booking with Chrizaan – not only did we enjoy an unforgettable safari, but we also felt truly taken care of throughout the entire journey.

When there are so many choices out there for safari tours, we were a little overwhelmed. But when we reached out to Adele from discoversafari, she is prompt in her response and understood our request and very quickly she put together a tour that is one of the best holiday of our lives!
At Hoya Hoya we were greeted with the most amazing hospitality, and even though it’s full board, the chef prepared different dishes the 3 days we were there. Andrew, our driver and guide is fantastic, and we saw the big five during our stay and of course the ‘live tv’ just opposite our dining place allow us the best experience of our lives. The elephants, giraffes and even hyenas visited the watering hole that Hoyo Hoyo built was just brilliant.
Our next adventure at Chisomo Karongwe private game reserve did not disappoint. On top of the big five, Polly(guide) and Eddie(tracker) made my dream came true by spotting 3 cheetahs during the morning drive.

You need to re-assess the need for publication of sightings.
Failing which, may eventually cause a world wide boicott of your tours..
It is hideous and inhuman to see such cruelty on the media!
