Per our input, Chrizaan at Discover Africa arranged a terrific itinerary to Cape Town, Victory Falls, Chobe National Park, and the Okavango Delta. All transfers, tours, and guides were waiting for us at each destination. Both my husband and I felt the trip was everything we had hoped for and would highly recommend their services. Thank you for a wonderful trip!

Adelle was incredibly helpful from start to finish. Set us up with a great itinerary for our 8 day safari. We were able to see lots of animals and get a great cultural experience in Botswana between the 3 lodges that we stayed at. Highly recommend DiscoverAfrica if you don't want the headache of trying to plan it all. Let them do it for you. I am not sure the cost is really that different anyway.

We had a great experience with Discover Africa! Chrizaan was very helpful and found and organized the perfect location for us. We spent an amazing time and we highly recommend the MMA Dinare Lodge. From arrival to departure everything was perfect, the friendly staff, the food was some of the best we had eaten on this trip, the guides and the game-drives (even night drives and off-road) were excellent! We would book again with Discover Africa!

An outstanding safari trip made seamless and wonderful by Adelle at Discover Africa. From start to finish this trip was amazing, the flights were well organised our pickups and transfers were on time and comfortable. We stayed the first two nights at Jocks a private concession in Kruger and everything from the food, accomodation and our wildlife guide Patrick was out of this world. We then transferred to Arathusa Lodge in Sabi Sands game reserve and while different experience again the accomodation, food and our tracker Adam and Guide Geoff were outstanding. Not a single complaint and felt Adelle did a wonderful job of making things easy for us when the enormous choice of accomodation options and places to stay can be overwhelming. We saw the big 5 and many other animals and I would recommend Discover Africa and Adelle to anyone I speak with!

I stumbled upon Discover Africa, and contacted them, as they had an itinerary that interested me. (Rail plus safari) Devryn got back to me right away, asked pertinent questions and tailor made a perfect trip. It was amazing. Everything that I asked for, he delivered. All the pictures were accurate. We experienced first rate accommodations, transportation and communication. All our questions were answered. I have been raving and recommending Devryn and Discover Africa to everybody!

Home from a great trip to South Africa and Botswana which was totally organised by Adelle at Discover Africa. Adelle was recommended to us by a friend, and after Adelle asked us what we would like to do and achieve on holiday, Adelle put together some great itineraries and after some fine tuning between us, ended up being the best holiday we have ever enjoyed. We never had to worry about any pick up's, trips, hotel stays or visits as everything was well organised. Next time we plan to visit Southern Africa again, we will ask Adelle to help us again.

This was our first trip to Africa. We had already decided on Botswana but needed guidance as to the best camps to suit our preference for good bird spotting as well as seeing animals large & small, walking safaris, boat & mokoro excursions in the Okavango Delta. We also wanted to stay a good few days at each camp & really get the feel of the camp & the area, rather than rushing from one to another spending only 2 or 3 nights at each. Vihann paid close attention to the things that interested us & put together an itinerary which perfectly suited our needs. This consisted of 5 nights each at 3 camps, Leroo La Tau, Nxamaseri Island & Camp Okavango. All 3 camps are run by Desert & Delta, & we will separately review the camps elsewhere. Highlights included large numbers of giraffe, elephant, zebra & the many different antelopes at Leroo La Tau; extraordinary birdlife at Nxamaseri (almost matched by the other 2 camps); close encounters with hippo, crocodile & (on no fewer than 3 different walks) lions at Camp Okavango. Vihann arranged the camps & internal flights, & ensured everything ran smoothly. He also answered our numerous questions patiently. Desert & Delta combine comfort, good facilities, expert guiding & excellent food with something even more important - a genuinely friendly & joyful atmosphere that is more than simple "professional" friendliness. The camps are also very efficiently run. Desert & Delta's style suited our preference for camps where guests & staff mingle, & the atmosphere is sociable, something else which Vihann had also taken on board when putting together our trip. We would very highly recommend Discover Africa.

We contacted Discover Africa directly from Sydney. Feeling that a local travel agent would serve our interests best. And that’s how it turned out. Vihann van Wyck was our contact point and he did everything we wanted and more. All his suggestions were good and ALL his travel arrangements worked seamlessly. Hotels welcomed us, shuttle busses arrived on time in remote locations for our group of 6 family members. We had a week in two excellent game parks. Jock in Kruger and Ulusaba at Sabi Sands. A wonderful experience of safari and luxury. Then a week in Capetown. A beautiful city with its monumental Table Mountain. And we took severe advantage of the poor Rand with an our less than spectacular Australian dollars. The African people are fantastic. We never felt stressed. All in all an amazing holiday. Thank you Vihann. I highly recommend Africa and Discover Africa. I should also say that the 14 hour direct Sydney to Jo’burg flight is a blessing for Australians going to South Africa. So easy and a great A380 plane and crew. The old Qantas that we all remember. I would do it all again. Alex.

We had the absolute best experience with Megan from Discover Africa during our two-week journey through Botswana, Zimbabwe, and Namibia. Honestly this review can't even possibly come close to expressing what this trip meant to us! I have taken a bit of time to write this review. We went back in July-August 2024. It has been hard to write a review that would do this trip justice, but I am going to try.

From start to finish it was beyond our dreams! So lets start at the beginning. We started working with Antoinette with Discover Africa December 2023. Lucky for us we found her by accident doing some research. We talked to others but really connected with Antoinette and decided to take a leap of faith in her. Thank goodness we did! She was the "Queen" of this trip if you will! If it wasn't for her this experience would never had happened. I can't express enough thanks to her and her team! She NEVER got impatient with us. Even with all our "stupid" questions. She answered all of our questions patiently. She never lost focus. She is a source of incredible knowledge and personal experience. She designed a fantastic bucket list trip for us! Every detail was thought out! She is a gem and if you are lucky enough to get to work with her you will not be disappointed!

Our trip was focused on the country of Tanzania. What an absolutely beautiful country and beautiful people! From the landscapes, to the people and the animals you should see this amazing country! (Kenya has nothing on Tanzania!)

We started our adventure in Kilimanjaro. We were picked up by Freddy an Anderson and Harvey representative. He had the most smiling face to welcome us into country. After a 30+ hour journey it was well received! We asked him for a coffee place and he took us to a stand since he is a tea drinker he was a little at a loss but was very tasty. Onwards to our lodge. Stayed at the Kaliwa Lodge. Very pretty in the treetops over looking the river. With the abundance of foliage hard to see the river but could hear it. Food was incredible and staff were really nice and attentive. We tried to "hike" Kilimanjaro, I use this word loosely, to the first base camp. We made it halfway. It was a wonderful experience. Our guide was Kester who works with the lodge. He was so fun. I think he was a bit worried with us but we made it! We learned about his life and what movies he liked. Great way to kick off our trip.

We were picked up from Anderson and Harvey transfer and met Charles for the first time. On the way Charles treated us to a "respectful" coffee! He was such a delight. We loved talking politics to him. Learned about his family and his job. We met Charles a few times throughout the trip. He was a great representative for Anderson and Harvey. He brought us to Siringit Villa. That place is incredible! Beautiful grounds. The food is 5 star! People come from all around to eat there. The service was impeccable. The spa and the golf fantastic. Spent one of our days visiting the Arusha National Park with Allen from Anderson and Harvey. The brush is incredible and thick. We had a picnic lunch and a just a great conversation getting to know Allen and seeing the park and the animals. Really a nice relaxing stay to get ready for the push through to the Serengeti.

Next on our stop Arusha Coffee Lodge. Unfortunately only 1 night at the Arusha Coffee Lodge. I wish it could have been more! The room was gorgeous. We were treated to an excellent dinner. And the breakfast was incredible! The arts and crafts fun to watch them make and to shop.

Enjoying our trip immensely to this point, as I reflect, this is the point where our adventure really began! We meet Penuel. He is going to be our guide for the next 11 days. Starting from the Tarangire National park, through the Ngorongoro Crater, into Central Serengeti finishing in Northern Serengeti. That is a statement...meeting Penuel. He is a force of nature. He is an astounding guide! From his incredible sightings to all his knowledge. He is a true ambassador of the culture, environment and all the creatures. His patience is unparalleled to no one. His comprehension of the terrain and the roads was stupefying (not like there are road signs). His witty sense of humor and his sarcasm endeared him to us right away. We are in debt to Penuel for forever! What he showed us there are no words. He means the world to us! Thank you Penuel!

Every place we stayed along the way, mentioned below, were beyond belief! From the service, to the food and drinks, to the breathtaking rooms! You do not want for anything! They surpassed any expectations that we might have had! We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our wonderful camps.

Our trip ended in Zanzibar at Essque Zalu Zanzibar. This island is very cultural. Be respectful! Had a nice time unwinding from the rush.

We had a great time at River Lodge Victoria Falls, amaying accomodation and very attentive staff. Chobe in Botswana was another great safari. We had a great time and we hope to travel with Discover Africa soon again.
