Dinolingo language learning site is an excellent tool to teach languages. My kids (5 and 8 years old) are really enjoying, especially the games. The videos are short, direct and with fine pronunciation.
The offer of less common languages is really good (in our case, Greek), as it was difficult for us to find physical classroom learning.
As new features, this platform could have:
i) Different games, besides what is being offered (memory cards, sound/image check);
ii) Extra games where it would be possible for different users (at least of the same subscription) to play between them, as a contest and as a partnership.

I’ve only experience DuoLingo less than a week
I’ve only experience DuoLingo less than a week but it looks like it is the same format throughout the experience (video, music, matching game, etc). I anticipate my 3.5 year old to get bored of this. She likes the matching game, but it would be nice to have more games.
I think the selections before the matching game (right, wrong & choosing the right picture to voice) is too difficult to understand for her without my help of what is going on. It would be nice to have age levels of the games themselves, not just be given less choices for the younger kids. She wants to play games, not watch videos. That is why I give it a 3 star. I think I will use this for a few weeks and then she will be bored, unfortunately.
The pronunciations are great though.

Okay, Could Be Better
After trying many other Korean learning apps for our young child, so far this has been the best. Yet it still has a ways to go. New users are able to try the first few lessons in a browser but not on mobile app. You can't subscribe through the app store and must enter your credit card info just for the 7 day free trial. The app itself has cute introductory videos but they are way too long (my child even said so!). It would be better to introduce the new language in smaller chunks, like the exercises themselves do. Also, it throws in some complex grammar early on, expecting young kids to comprehend very long sentences in an unfamiliar language (spoiler: it doesn't work and creates unnecessary frustration). Finally, the practice problems are somewhat rote. For example, the child will practice "blue bird" repeatedly without ever seeing "blue fish". I suspect it is to cut down on the number of new pictures they have to create for the program. We'll continue the trial and see if things get better. If not, I will keep searching for a better app.

Love this program- the visuals and activities really keep little ones (and adults) engaged and entertained! The variety and depth of languages offered is extensive and the price is right. The videos and activities are great, but whenever my daughter spends more than about ten to fifteen minutes on the website it freezes and stops working completely.

Great for all ages!
My family just started the German subscription and I'm amazed by the creativity behind the program. It's not only engaging and entertaining for little ones, but is also suitable for older age groups. Even for myself (in my early 40s), I've moved beyond mere sentence memorization and thoroughly enjoy the visual learning experience. I enthusiastically recommend this program to people of all ages. Good lessons
Good lessons, my son 7 likes to get the trophies or dinosaurs by doing the tests. He's in 2nd grade and is very intelligent. His first language is English. We thought if we give this a try his English might improve. So far it's like playing a baby game. It does get harder but so far I think he's ok with it. My older daughter is learning Spanish and my oldest is learning Japanese. They seem to like it more.
