This review is purely on the work my solicitor, Hayley, did on both selling my property and buying my new apartment. She kept me updated on both sale and purchase progress along the way, working tirelessly and conscientiously to complete on both. I cannot fault her commitment to achieving this despite delays on receiving responses to queries in the final stages. I think that without Hayley’s perseverance and dedication I would still be waiting to move in!! Thank you so much.

Hayley Geall was amazing throughout our whole Experience from selling to purchasing. We had a very rocky road but (due to things out of ours and our solicitors control) Hayley was there at every step of the way. Hayley at DC Law is efficient friendly and very enthusiastic to get things done extremely quickly. From setting up the beginning process to the very end. Amazing service and would recommend and use again, without hesitation.

Dc law has helped me throughout my time to buy a property. There was ups and downs in between but my conveyancer Jake has worked so hard to get all the paperwork done in time. I would definitely recommend DC law to anyone who is looking to buy a property. The customer service was amazing as we would get quick responses from them. Jake Osborne is an excellent conveyancer. He is also able to think " out of the box" when the situation requires a creative response in order to resolve matters accurately and promptly!

Took 8 months nearly to complete on my flat sale after having my conveyancer leave, the entire process was an absolute shambles case D301950.00001. Now onto my purchase D322184.00001 I've just been told this afternoon that I'm getting a new conveyancer and that my file has only just been sent off to be reviewed. All enquires are in and we have been ready to exchange for weeks. So in total for a sale and purchase I've been through 3 conveyancers. Where exactly is the continuity in that? Communication has been extremely poor and DC Law have not been transparent at all with what is going on with my cases. AVOID, pay someone local who you can go and visit. Not someone working in a mega office with 20 cases each.

What should have been a simple process turned into a nightmare. But Alan Bates came out trumps and we eventually got there, he was always available if not I was advised who was dealing with purchase.

Hi and my wife Meg have Daphne to thank for the tireless work she did on our behalf in ensuring a completion date for our first home. She was very thorough.

When I talked to Lisa Rimmer on the phone she was extremely friendly and helpful. I did struggle with communication a bit because I am not very versed in technology and got frustrated at what seemed to be getting passed from pillar to post at times. I believe that Lisa is an asset to the company but in general, as in many instances nowadays, it seems that you get passed around a lot.

They handled the sale of my apartment and everything went smoothly. A small issue regarding a retention was resolved by the Team Manager who was very helpful.

Lisa Rimmer was my solicitor she was always helpful, never made me feel silly with my questions & more importantly was quick to return calls/emails. Everything was done to achieve a swift completion which was greatly appreciated after a previous buyer had pulled out.

Gintare has been beyond incredible from start to finish. We received updates as soon as possible, she was always available to reach via phone call/email. Their online system Eway is so good for looking at the progress and history of your sale and purchase. Wouldn't recommend any other team! Thankyou so much gintare you've been the best through and through! :)

Jake was really kind and helpful through the whole process as were other members of the team when he was on leave etc

Nasreen Akhtar has worked tirelessly on my behalf to achieve completion for a property being sold as part of probate. Professional whilst still being friendly Ms Akhtar always kept me fully informed throughout the process and I completely trusted her to act in my best inerest. The online eway system was easy to use and I am very happy with the service I received from D C Law.

Sophie was very helpful throughout the whole process of selling my mums house, she kept us informed of any progress and answered any queries we had quickly and professionally

Sadly the sale and purchase for us seemed to go well initially, but then became extremely frustrating and chaotic.

Things were missed that shouldn’t have been, such as the lack of proof of planning, until almost the last minute. Communication between our solicitor and the buyer’s seemed inefficient with wildly different expectations on time. Communication with me was quite sporadic.

I actually recommended them to a family member due to my initial positive experience, and they ended up having an even worse experience than me. Would not use or recommend again.

Our conveyancer Cheryl was a pleasure to talk to - always reassuring and patiently explaining the sales process.

Echoing the other poor reviews; it has been nearly impossible to contact DC Law and it seems that the only way to get any traction is to leave a trust pilot review!

Selling our house has seen no progress in many weeks, despite myself, our sales progression agent and our buyers solicitors trying to contact them to even get the ball rolling.

It took over a week to receive a reply to an email and even then it didn't answer any questions or progress anything.

I've tried being patient but seeing all the other reviews recently show it's not a one-off and unfortunately I need to be incredibly annoying to have the chance of getting anywhere.

Using DC Law for the sale of my mums property was helped by Jake Osborne for everything to go through smoothly. He was very quick with his response to messages and emails.
Would recommend Jake and would definitely contact him again should the need arise.
