This is the worst company to deal with for any business, i advise anyone looking at a broker for energy contracts to stay well clear of this company, rip you off and lie to you and then do nothing to help resolve the situation, BE WARNED DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

This company got my details from somewhere and I did engage with them as the energy contracts for the charity I work for were up for renewal.

I then received calls every day, sometimes more than once, until I politely requested that they stop calling as I would get in touch when I was ready.

Calls stopped, briefly, but then resumed, with staff telling our volunteer receptionists they were from British Gas and wanted to talk to me about a rebate, both of which were untrue.

I emailed the person who kept calling to tell him I wouldn't be using their services so to stop calling and emailing. I received an email from him by return apologising, and asking to still be included in the tender process.

Within an hour I received a call from someone else at the company saying he was from British Gas to discuss our rebate.

I'll be putting in a complaint to Ofcom about this organisation.

Jack and Alex have been amazing.

We had been out of contract with our previous provider and we had been overcharged for our energy for several years.

Jack and Alex have worked so hard to get the right deal for us, which will save the practice a significant amount of money on our energy bills.

I cannot recommend them enough and I will be sharing their details with my Practice Manager colleagues from other GP practices.

Apparently I signed a contract with these people in February 2025 to take over my gas contract in August 2026 (1 1/2 years later). Am in arrears with current supplier so had to extend contract to clear these. Have now received a letter from Direct Business Solutions ltd looking for £28000 or will be taken to court. Is this legal? Swore a few years ago that I would never work with brokers again but relented as the person I spoke with initially seemed reasonable - should have knew after several calls a day and constant changes of staff 'looking after' me these are just like all the rest! Not sure what the solution is but looks like this will be another small hospitality business going down the drain.

Fin and Gavin were both very helpful and explained matters if I was unsure.

When I was first contacted by Global Direct I was impressed with their knowledge of the market place.
They kept me in the picture throughout the process to find me the best deal.
The team were very professional and efficent in closing a deal down in a forever moving market.

Dont listen to a word these liars tell you. Wish i could give zero stars. They tell you they have a good deal for you and its lies. I'll keep this short I was paying about £200 a month electricity then these liars told me they had a great deal and needed to be done very quickly as the deal will go tomorrow. Constant phones and emails telling me I'd be stupid not to do the docusign ASAP. I took their word very silly of me and all of a sudden im stuck in a long contract paying over £400+ a month. The hidden charges every month are treble my usage. Ombudsman is now investigating so hopefully the evidence I have given them will get me out of this ridiculous contract. AVOID THESE LIARS AT ALL COST.

Stay away from these pushy lying con artists. Would give minus 5 stars if i could. Constantly calling you all day long , emailing you the same everyday. Pushing you into taking contracts out telling you its a good deal them then WHAM your hit with hidden charges that they don't mention at all when negotiating with them. I was with delta gas and power and was told they found me a better deal. Yes the standing charge and unit rate was slightly smaller hardly anything but then in the 20+ pages of small writing which nobody has time to read there was hidden charges that make your monthly bill over double you were paying before. Was paying about £180 a month electricity now paying over £400 every month. These clowns told me it was a better deal. Ombudsman is now involved so hopefully will be out of this ridiculous contract soon. STAY AWAY

Friendly, helpful, thorough and attention to detail and looking out for our best interest as a charity, and achieving worthwhile savings. Good to be dealing with those who know the ins and outs of the industry.

Have dealt with Danielle at Direct Global for many years and always have had best deals available (long term elec and gas contracts for a large commercial office building).
Danielle is a consummate professional and very knowledgeable and experienced in the Energy market . In addition Danielle understands the commercial office market that we are in and the pressure we are under on to keep our costs manageable in order for us to retain tenants. From my experience of dealing with Danielle over the last 6 years I can certainly recommend using Direct Global .

I've been using Direct Global for a number of years and have always found them to be very helpful. The energy industry is volatile and very difficult to navigate. Direct have gone over and above expectations on several occasions, their industry knowledge is invaluable. 'Client queries' always reply within an acceptable time frame and pursue issues until they are resolved. I have no plans to move our business elsewhere.

Jack was really helpful, very informative and great at explaining things. Would highly recommended.
