I am a Costco lover and I shop at Costco’s across the country. Just had a horrible experience at Costco in Franklin Tn, my order was rang up at self check out by their staff, I got to the door and something was left off by Costco staff. The older lady at the door treated me like I was stealing refused to give me my receipt back and said I had to wait for a manager in a completely packed store . I asked a second time just give me the receipt let me go to customer service she refused. Another staff had to make her give me my receipt. Crazy experience. I returned it all including my food court purchases. All over a rogue employee who treated me like I was stealing though I spend a significant amount in the store. Crazy experience!!!! Do better!!!

El Paso, TX Costco is in need of Food scanners, as at check out is takes to long for the Costco employee to come over and scan big items.

Note: Food scanners are mobile apps that use your phone's camera to scan product barcodes or food labels, instantly breaking down ingredients, nutritional values, and additives.

Lastly Sam's has the food Food scanners and it makes the line faster without having to wait for the employee to show up...

Come on Costco its time you step up..

Costco has great prices but the quality and the shopping experience can be hit or miss... The store is often packed, leading to long lines at checkout and a chaotic atmosphere. Finding help from staff is also difficult when you need it...

I have been a member of Costco forever and just kept renewing my membership!
But Costco has become super expensive and following the shrinkage policy as well!
Trying to mimic high end stores but the point is that they make billions with memberships and these days have no regards for their members to get good deals!
I have been watching the same items get sooooo expensive in the last few years!
It is mind blowing!
It feels like it is a good example of price gouging!!
And it’s just not me, many people feel the same!!
Their goal is now all about profits!
So…
Why r we paying the membership fees???
What about us???
Either show some loyalty to the people or get rid of the membership fees!

Costco customer service 2026 has completely changed their policy! As the imported products from China is getting more and more expensive also the quality and the service is loosing the trust point here!!!
I absolutely don’t support garbage product and their policy!
Bought 8 month ago a Battery and now it stopped working! Costco will only pay a prorated refund of a 3 years warranty item!!!
It’s not easy and cheap to pull out the battery and try to exchange for a new one!
Not that it will break your day and also you e to know Costco does not support their cheap quality product in 2026!!!!!!

All over a refund. Charged me twice at the register. Two days later, no refund in my bank account. Called and the manager was adamant it wasn’t Costco’s problem. Go see your bank. Bank gives me a different story. Call Costco and the manager starts questioning me and my bank and I start defending my bank. He asked if I trusted my bank because he didn’t. At one point I asked him if he was arguing with me. He ended up cutting me off. Can’t help. Go talk to your bank if you trust them. Costo had no problem taking my money, I guess don’t asked questions at Costco. Can’t wait to visit my bank to close my accounts because Costco doesn’t trust them.

When I renewed my membership I received emil called June promotion from castoco. com that I will have $45 gift card if I renew my membership. I called customer support and an agent help me on phone to renew my membership and he said I will receive $45 gift card in 2 weeks .I didn't receive any and when I called again they said I am not eligible for the gift card so they played me to renew my membership. The supervisor was very nasty to me and he didn't want to listen to my complaint.

Clorox smells like water and color is not the same but the price is up . I’m now wondering is it water!? Was buying at San Marcos Costco did call and ask manager said you can return yes I can but that is not the point ! Is it scam 90% water???

The customer service that they used to have have gone downhill and pretty much did not care . When asked to speak with a manager they pretty much said if you want to wait and see someone will get to you when ever !! Terrible service

Ordered a few items from Costco a few weeks ago. Quality was okay but nothing special. Prices are competitive too.

I've bought plenty online without issue, so this one really stood out — for the wrong reasons. There were unexpected charges at checkout that weren't clearly explained upfront. I was left waiting without any explanation for the delay. I'd think twice before ordering from here again.

Since the gas price hike, costco has been right with (main stream stations), or even higher. People spend 65 a year to get (cheaper gas), goooo figure. I have been getting gas at regular stations for 20 to 30 cents less than costco gas. I am surprised that costco is not willing to help everyone a little bit. when prices go up,

its bang (immediately), when prices come down (2 weeks, maybe 5 cents. this smacks of gouging.
I have. not been to costco gas for at least 8 weeks. go to Sam's, and check out GasBuddy for lowest price and it's not costco gas.

costco gas just went UP to 4.12, Sam's on Alpine went down to 3.78. Appreciate Sam's on alpine...thanks Sam's, for helping. Sam's is lowest around . even if they eventually go up, Sam's on alpine has much better record of helping than Costco Gas.

I have been a loyal and enthusiastic Costco member since 1993. My friends know how much I love Costco, and years ago I even had the opportunity to work with them as one of their vendors. I've always thought highly of the company and the way it treats its members.

A couple of months ago, my daughter was involved in a minor automobile accident. Fortunately, no one was injured. The other driver crossed a painted traffic barrier and turned directly in front of her vehicle, leaving her with no opportunity to avoid the collision. We understand that accidents happen, and we expected the insurance process to work its way through normally.
Because no one was injured, law enforcement did not respond to the scene and no police report was prepared, which is standard practice in that county.
We promptly cooperated with both insurance companies and provided photographs and other evidence showing the scene, the road markings, and why my daughter could not reasonably have seen or avoided the other driver's vehicle before impact.

To our surprise, the other driver's insurer, American Family Insurance, concluded that my daughter was 15% responsible for the accident, arguing that she should have been able to avoid the collision. When we repeatedly asked for the legal or factual basis for that conclusion, none was provided. We were simply told that we could either accept the determination or pursue the matter further ourselves.
As a Costco member for more than 30 years, this experience has been deeply disappointing. I have always associated Costco with fairness, integrity, and amazing customer service. That's why I find it so troubling that Costco chooses to affiliate its name with an insurance company that, in my experience, made a liability determination that was never explained or supported despite repeated requests, and then essentially told us to "take it or leave it."

I still think highly of Costco, which makes this all the more disappointing. I sincerely hope Costco takes a closer look at whether this is the kind of experience it wants associated with its brand and with the trust its members have placed in it for decades.

WTF COSTCO. YOU REPLACED DUBAI CHOCOLATE BARS WITH LA MENORQUINA which are total crap. The bar breaks apart into halves. There’s is WAY too much cinnamon. Willl no but again. Reverse you bring back the quality one you lost my trust and being interested in good quality foods.

Costco out of milk, cottage cheese, basic staples — again. Doesn’t matter how good your stock price looks, that’s not customer satisfaction. Repeated stockouts on essentials = failing your members. Do better. #Costco #CustomerService

Another great experience at the Costco Florida ,Stuard audioligy department. Jorge Camacho, licensed audiologist was polite , professional, warm and welcoming . Jorge took time to listen to our concerns and addressed our needs . He calibrated my husband hearing aid making sure that they were working properly. We left smiling and feeling happy that we had chosen Costco for our family's audiology health. Jorge Camacho is a valuable professional and an asset to the Costco company , thank you Jorge!

I had high hopes for my recent Costco order, but the delivery was frustrating. It took over a week longer than promised, which I didn’t expect. When the delivery finally came, the drivers were unhelpful and refused to carry my new mattress upstairs, leaving it by the front door. I paid for delivery expecting better service. Plus, the tracking system was misleading, making it hard to know when it would actually arrive. I appreciate Costco’s prices, but this experience really let me down.

Here, at the Optical department of the Costco located in Memorial City. I came to pick up prepaid glasses and was immediately asked to check in online via the barcode. A man appeared, was allowed to finish his question and served (without being asked to check in). Please follow the same rules for everyone.

I visited a local Costco to determine if I should get a membership instead of my current BJ's membership. I wanted to see the quality of a particularly expensive product as well as a few other products. I asked an employee at the door if I could look around for a few minutes and was denied. Made my decision pretty easy - I'll spend my money elsewhere. Funny that "AI" shows Costco with a high rating, but the rating is 3.3 stars. I understand why it's not very good, despite AI.
