Friendly helpful team always open to discuss my case. My experience with medical professional used to document and record diagnosis' was poor and not as accurate as I would have preferred. Would definitely recommend Cordell & Co for future reference if needed.

avoid at all costs i wish i had read the reviews before i let them take the case on. came to my house within 2 days. i signed the contract. the guy at my house was telling me how much of a good claim this is. i trod on a a glass bottle that was left on my door step by an uber driver which i did not expect to be there as the driver by law needs to get the age verification. i received 10 stitches in the bottom of my foot which has not healed properly and now i walk with a limp. these jokers took the case on after 3 months they said they were still waiting for ubers reply. so i contacted uber and got the insurance details for uber this took me me about 10 mins. cordel said the driver is self employed and they won't go after individuals but its a legal requirement by mclarens which is ubers insurance company for the driver to have public liability insurance. cordel dropped my case and now no other no win lawyers will take the case because cordel dropped it. and now mclarens are saying uber won't give the insurance detail because of data protection act. so thanks for f#ck all cordel. seriously avoid at all costs!!!!!!

Everyone was really helpful and responsive. Giving me good advice. I was hoping to get more to be honest but I'm sure it's got nothing to do with them, I just don't know the ins and outs of a claim.

I originally contacted Cordell & Co with regard to my accident under the 'No win, no fee' proviso.
I cannot recommend this company in any circumstances and found them only interested in their own financial gain with no concern for reaching a fair outcome for my injuries.
The claim and settlement took approximately 13 months and all went well and as expected until the final stages of my dealings with Cordell & Co.
I will explain why I am dissatisfied and frankly quite outraged at Cordell & Co.
The company who were responsible for the accident admitted liability and made an 'opening offer' of £7,500. Cordell & Co then insisted I sign a consent form "to allow them to negotiate a settlement on my behalf' which I am sure is standard procedure. What was suspiciously wrong about this contract with Cordell & Co is it allowed them "to negotiate a settlement" for the starting amount of a mere £2,500!!! Once I signed this contract from Cordell & Co I was legally bound to it, potentially being legally bound to accept this figure as a minimum. The seriously worrying thing about this contract was the other party had already accepted liability had already made an opening offer of £7,500!
Quite why Cordell & Co insisted I sign a contract with them for £5,000 less than was already offered, to this day, I have never received a straight honest answer to.
When I refused to sign this contract with Cordell & Co they try to scaremonger me by claiming I was in breach of my contract with them, claimed I could be liable for the other parties costs amounting to thousands of pounds, I would have to attend court, Mr Cordell himself emailed me urging to sign this contract (these are all documented facts sent in email form by Cordell & Co).
All in all, I felt Cordell & Co did not care about my injuries or a reasonable compensation figure as they would get their legal fees regardless (25% of my claim plus an additional whopping £12,000 in legal costs for which the other party paid).
Cordell & Co appeared grossly negligent to their client, myself.
The ending to this sorry saga is I refused to sign Cordell & Co's laughable contract for a measly £2,500 and when asked what amount I would sign for I said "£10,500" literally within 24 hours they claimed 'victory' by informing me they had "successfully negotiated" my claim for, guess how much? Exactly £10,500!
If it were not for me being so insistent and standing up for myself I could have signed my injury claim away for £2,500 instead of which I got £10.500.
If I use a solicitor I want then to fight for me instead of which I found myself fighting them for justice.
Cordell & Co are simply there to make money out of people with no obligation to the clients or getting any form of justice to them.
I found my whole experience with Cordell & Co a thoroughly distasteful one and had I more energy after this ordeal I would have complained to the ombudsman regarding their behaviour all of which was documented in emails.
I'm sure Cordell & Co will reply to this review with some jackanory story but all I can say is avoid at all costs and if you do use them be prepared to fight them to get justice!
Cordell & Co received over £14,000 for their 'services' but were quite happy for me to accept £2,500 when I'd already been offered £7,500 it just does not add up!

Complete waste of time god knows how many people were involved in my case spoke to a different person everything,when I called them they were busy told get them to call you back never did,1st decline of negligence from company I was asking for compensation Cordell said they are not pursuing the case any further.

I am a retired solicitor who called this firm on behalf of a client who is Rumanian and whose English is limited in connection with a RTA in which he was not at fault his vehicle had been struck from behind . He sustained injury and loss of earnings. Claim value £10,000.00-£15,000.00
They refused to take on the matter because it did not meet criteria which when pressed means very high value claim something that is not explained on their website. (10k is a lot of money to this 50 year old gentleman)

When pressed the member of staff threw an immature temper tantrum and slammed the phone down.

At leat we found out how unprofessional this firm is at an early stage .

Absolutely shocking took 19 months with my personal injury claim telling me I had a strong case only to drop it a few weeks before it was due to go to court saying that they didn’t think they would win the case! 19 months to decide this. Then harassed me to sign a form to agree to drop it whilst I was suffering from pneumonia and poorly so they didn’t incur any cost. Avoid at all costs.

Stiven from Cordell & Co was very professional and kept me updated with my case. When I called, nothing was too much. He answered all my questions and gave me good advice as well as explaining and simplifying anything that was complex. He won my case and I will be forever grateful. I would definitely recommend him.

Absolutely shocking, please don't waste your time using these jokers.

Took two and a half years to decide my claim is too complicated and they dropped me with only a few weeks to get another solicitor. 3 different case managers who didn't have a clue about my claim.

In my personal experience these people have very little understanding of UK and European law. Their ability to communicate is just as bad. I could not recommended them at all.
