Clarion are a housing association to be avoided at all cost. It is extremely difficult to get them to maintain anything at all, and forget about emergency call outs. Our estate consists of four modern blocks less than 10 years old and the water pumps continually go off. New Year and 10 hours without water, Clarion don't give a damn. Non of the main doors close properly and never have in 8 years, so we get intruders and vandalism in our blocks. Residents continually hung-up on when trying to complain or report an issue and every year the maintenance cost is increased.

If I could leave a 0, I would - quick enough to take our money, extremely poor customer service, which lacks any sort of care for people’s welfare. 3 blocks of flats without water yesterday, no urgency to get that matter dealt with, leaving new mothers, elderly and vulnerable people at risk. This isn’t the first time we or I have received terrible service and duty of care from this awful housing group. Honestly, as a company you need to take a long hard look at what you are and what you stand for because you clearly couldn’t care less about the people that live in your homes.

I phoned up to report an emergancy repair on Sunday afternoon to be told someone would be with me within 24 hours. I then got a phone call back saying someone would be here tomorrow (Monday) so I took the day off work phoned up in the morning and was told someone will be out today but they couldn’t give me a time. It got to 4pm and I used to live chat to make sure they were still coming today and was told they would definitely be here today. I then called up at 6pm as no one had been still and was cut off twice! After holding for 30 mins each time they answered and hung up. When I eventually got through I was told to call back tomorrow even though I was assured someone would be out today. The notes said I was advised on Sunday it wasn’t an emergancy and to call customer support on Monday, that is not even remotely similar to the conversation had. I advised them to listen back to the phone call. I told her I’ve waited at home all day - I can’t feed my son, I’ve lost a days pay and it still isn’t an emergancy so have been told to call back tomorrow. I can’t as I will be working, I cannot take another day off. I told her I want to make a complaint and she said I would have to call tomorrow to make a complaint. Absolutely appalling company, I don’t think I’ve ever been so frustrated! Absolute lack of care to their customers!

Do not buy a Clarion property!
Don't make the same mistake I did. Terrible maintenance and customer service. I recently moved into a new build called Boulevard Apartments in Southwark and even though the building is brand new, nothing works. None of the entrance doors to the building have worked since I moved in, leaving residents stuck outside, needing to call neighbours to access the building, even in the middle of the night. We have reported the issue for at least 6 months and nothing has been done. terrible maintenance of a brand new building!!!

I don’t understand how clarion housing can exist as a company, they are an absolute shambles. I needed someone to come and do an urgent repair, they told me to stay at home for the next 24 hours. They sent someone round who did not have the correct equipment, said they would come back. They never returned, I contacted clarion again who had no idea about my case. Was told to stay at home for another 24 hours. They then sent someone round who again didn’t have the right equipment for the job. The guy who turned up had not been given the correct info I told clarion. There is no communication!

Clarion Housing have disgraceful customer service and don't care about their residents. I have been trying to exchange house since June. Due to their so called cyber attack you can't contact them by phone. I have now contacted my MP to try and get our exchange completed. Never known such a bad company.

Had to message Clarion today re failure to attend booked appointment by heating contractor, no heating or hot water since Friday 9th Gail responded very quickly and escalated to management managed to get contractor to attend 45 mins later, thank you Gail for your very quick assistance and know how on getting this problem sorted so quickly

My exchange has been going on for 4 months. In that time I've been contacted 3 times. No updates. No idea what's happening. Inspections done, references done. Now I have no idea living in a house that's been packed with no clue as to when I'm moving.

I put a review on here the other day about my mums exchange and repairs. Had a couple of reply’s from clarion then nothing again. We have now run out of days for them to make a decision on the exchange. So fed up with this mum could fall down the stairs again. We need this sorted out.

Managed to (eventually) get hold of Clarion when we had water coming through the ceiling. Leak eventually fixed, took a few days with water turned of and tank drained, but the promise that the big hole in the bedroom ceiling would be reported and repaired hasn't happened.
I'd love to know how so many people are praising staff for how their calls are being handled when, since the cyber attack about 2 ½ months ago, no-one is answering the phones.

I had 2 of my rooms totally refitted and decorated, kitchen and bathroom. I couldn’t be any happier than what I am with the results. The workmen were so thorough I couldn’t fault their attention to detail. They carried out their work efficiently causing minimal disruption and were the most friendly, helpful and understanding and took their time to consult with me and explained everything to me about what had been done.
I totally recommend these guys to complete any work to the highest of standards- they basically did the work as well as they would their own home which is very rare to find.
