Wish there was a zero star review! Repairs department is a joke! Whoever is giving these 5 star reviews are obviously close friends/relatives of Clarion staff.
I’ve had satellite signal issues from September 2023 which has been reported to clarion several times, they do a temporary fix which doesn’t even last long. A week at most. Sent in 3 complaints since October 2023 and we are in February 2024 now, no acknowledgment of even receiving a complaint. Complaints don’t get dealt with but just in their inboxes. When you enquire about complaints they confirm they have received it as all the reference number/job numbers etc are there and the date and time of email is given to them, therefore they cannot deny it. They don’t take responsibility and just want to end the call as soon as possible, when you call back and get a different agent, they haven’t got a clue what you’re talking about and want to just raise a new job with a new reference number instead of linking the jobs!!

Clarion housing failed repair in a timely manner had a bathroom leak causing damaged to downstairs property privately owner in 2022 had new bath tub / toilet etc abd had to had new tiles .
Same thing happened again 2023 reported in July to clarion who came and visited me still haven’t done the work even till now January 2024 a d there now blaming me for not being available. I can afford to take any more time off work un paid including the 6 days on and off for swales heating there all taking the mick.
Had enough of they lazy approach to carrying out repair clarion housing has gone down hill used to be much better when they were circle 33 .

Clarion and Equans
Clarion employ a company called Equans (formally known as Engie) there’s an obvious reason they changed their name; see Trustpilot which Clarion obviously didn’t bother to check prior to awarding them a massive contract to replace hot water tanks and central boilers in retirement complexes. The original contract was due to start in Spring of this year, sensible?. Instead contract started in the Autumn and, since being ‘finished’ it has broken down virtual every second day leaving vulnerable residents without heating or hot water. Complain to Clarion and you get a ‘phone cal, a week later, from Equans because Clarion have passed the complaint about Equans to (drum roll) ……….Equans. Every time one complains to Clarion about the same problem they issue a new CRM number even when you quote the original number given. Two well matched organisations both working agains the residents who pay them!

Aggressive driver today with van FP21 OVM on M20 between junction 2 & 3. Drove very aggressively cutting in/out cars. I cannot believe that this man works for such a big and respected company like my housing clarion. I hope managers look into his behaviour for safety reasons

Had issues with an ELDERLY neighbour& her friends bullying me from the first day I moved in , I ignored it for 2 & half years until they became unbearable & I tried doing it right by going through clarion instead of taking it on myself as she’s 80 & causing me hell
What a mistake that was I should have just dealt with it myself, months of communication on messenger & phone calls, but after the total incompetence dealing with the issues here I should have just dealt with it myself & not bothered trying to do the right thing
Their housing officer was supposed to attend my property on 25th of May & at the time of writing this in July 4th HE STILL HAS NOT BEEN & no phone call !!!
The incompetence of this company is astounding

Denny Craig: Complex Works Team
Following eighteen months of litigation against Clarion Housing, DENNY CRAIG (a member of the Complex Works Team) arrived alone (Clarion really should have sent two people to work on such a large project) to fix the massive hole in my living room ceiling which had collapsed, resulting in the total loss of my furniture and flooring.
From the first day (9th May) Denny was considerate, pleasant, and after consistently arriving early and working diligently, he kept me apprised of developments at every stage and reviews at the end of each day. Denny didn't cut corners, and relying on his vast professional knowledge in greater and small details, he identified then corrected additional structural issues (which he could've ignored then patched up). He worked with real integrity that I have so rarely seen reflected in contractors' work in my home during the past 30 years I've been a tenant with this housing association. On discovering a couple of serious issues (caused by previous contractors) that now require urgent action, one of which is a grim health and safety issue affecting the communal hall, Denny reported them immediately to his managers.
It has taken Denny a month to complete the work on his own and frankly, the quality of his work is exemplary! I have my room back and now I can confidently move back in, (albeit starting from scratch) knowing it is SAFE at last, solely because of Denny's professionalism and personal pride in his work.
I have yet to hear from his managers for appointments addressing the outstanding issues, but at least the greater part of the work has been achieved.

Clarion show blatant disability…
Clarion show blatant disability discrimination. If you are disabled and claiming housing benefit, Clarion use that as an excuse to deny you any compensation, even though the rent is up to date, (only technically in arrears, because this benefit is always paid in arrears).There is no deliberate denial of rent, simply a device to refuse to pay any compensation to disabled people. They are supposed to be a social housing landlord?!

I reported a leaked coming in from the roof back in March. Finally given a date for someone to come in JUNE!! 3 months time!!! Bedroom ceiling has now turned black which means it will have to be repainted once the leak is eventually sorted. Totally unacceptable living conditions. I still have no hot water, 4 months this time. I have a son with complex medical needs & this is how we have to live. I have a bucket under kitchen sink due to a leak too but cannot get a repair for that. I'm calling the housing ombudsmen and national newspapers. This is how Clarion treat vulnerable tenants.

I'm a First Time Buyer through the Shared Ownership Scheme and Latimer by Clarion Housing Group is my Housing Association. My experience with buying with Clarion was fantastic. Kam, Karolina and Michelle were extremely professional, knowledgeable and helpful made the process run smoothly, answered all my questions promptly and communicated well with both Censeo Mortgage Broker & Direction Law Solicitors. Kam has gone above and beyond to help me find the right flat for me and to solve any issues pre and post completion. Karolina has made the sale process run smoothly in the background answering any questions I had and Michelle, my Customer Home Experience Executive was there for me from the moment of completion onwards helping me with the home demonstration and solving promptly any issues that came. Everything went like a well oiled machine with less than 2 months from the first viewing to the day of completion. Thank you for making this important step so easy for me.

*** update*** went on the live chat this morning and as we are not deemed an emergency (despite having a disabled husband)have been given an appointment for 3rd May absolutely shocking ***
Out on the footpath some company were laying fibre optic cables ( i think ), hitting a water main
Thames water came on the 6th April to repair the damage, turned the water off without informing anyone
Since then i have extremely low water pressure coming out less than a trickle
I called Thames water who explained that although i pay the bill to them Hackney Council supply the "bulk" of the water and that i was to contact them
I explained to the agent that i was not a council tenant and that i had a vulnerable adult in the household
He stated there was nothing he could do but for me to contact the council :-(
Saturday morning at 8:30 am i called Clarions emergency number to request help
He took my details down saying someone from Swale heating would contact me soon
Half & hour later i took a call from the above saying that it was not an emergency to contact Clarion on Tuesday despite me telling the agent i have a disabled husband in the property again he said to contact Clarion on Tuesday
It is really pointless having an emergency contact number if whatever company does not act on it

To the team leader, manager, area manager, I want to share my gratitude and appreciation of one of your lovely staff. Her name is " PRISCILLA" from repairs. I have had 2 ongoing and outstanding repairs that yet have been addressed, but after many calls I finally spoke to Priscilla of which I have confidence that these issues are being dealt with. Priscilla showed kindness and empathy to my situation. Her customer care, professionalism and bed side manner made me feel valued and my issues felt important and heard. Priscilla has called me a couple of times as a curtesy to update me which I really appreciate. I would appreciate very much if this email could be sent to Priscilla, Her manager/area manager as this is an individual that many could learn from and is a credit to Clarion. If I was Alan sugar she would definitely be hired. There are more complaints in this day an age so it is nice to get some positive feedback and this is one of those times.

Clarion provide clean, affordable housing and maintain the housing to a good quality, even when some of the tenants aren't as considerate.
My friend moved into a 2 bed Clarion Flat 4 years ago, it is a really nice spacious 2nd floor flat, extremely suitable for her and her primary aged daughter. Any issues raised are dealt with promptly, excluding during lockdown and the recent issue with the reporting system being down, but they tried their best even then. Communal carpeting in the hall and stairs has recently been replaced with lino, which I am sure the cleaners will appreciate as it is easier to clean, not that the carpet was particularly dirty, as only 6 flats in the block, with only one inconsiderate residents builder son too lazy to take off his boots before he entered the lobby.
