Yet again clarion let people down not only waiting to hear about kitchen from
June I’ve a issue with neighbour they say they won’t help then said to get in touch with east malling n larkfield parish council who say it’s not them and to go back to clarion like banging head against wall

Bloody joke

If I could leave zero stars I would clarion is an absolute bloody joke for over a year now I’ve been trying to get my unsafe back door replaced they finally said they would replace it only for the last month book appointments to come and not turn up I’ve waited in all day cancelled hospital appointments which I’m waiting for major surgery explained to my special needs children that workmen will be in only for them not to turn up with no phone call to say way then when I ring up to complain just told we have rebooked for a different day which then means more cancelling appointment prepping my kids for you not to turn up again I’ve now contacted my mp and local press
You are a bloody joke

A utter disgrace

A year today I have been trying for a bathroom adaptation for my mother in law who has two new hips severe arthritis a stroke and now a heart monitor installed she has lived at Borehamwood for 40 years always paid on time they now tell me she doesn’t need a shower room as she doesn’t have a stair lift!!
These jokers would be better off in the circus
Passing you from one to the other always excuses
I now have doctors report and the local MP involved
What a bunch of useless
However if this doesn’t get resolved I’m off to the newspapers and CAB

This has got to be the worst housing…

This has got to be the worst housing going Michelle that landlord she doesn't like people with disabilities or mental health she doesn't do anything she should do and she knows that kids are being choking rubbish all over the floor and spitting and making a mess and she can't even be bothered to say anything to their step mum and they can't even do a simple job right they make you wait ages very bad service do not go with this housing they are hopeless

2 August 2024. At last the hedges have been cut. Watch this space as it is bound to happen again next year.

It is now 31 July 2024.

Still the hedges have not been cut! This company is impossible. All they do is procrastinate. They phone, promising this and that and yet again nothing gets done. Surely there has got to be an organisation that make this awful company look after its customers. We pay maintenance within our rent, yet we struggle to get anything done. I give them minus 1000 stars!!!

Sadly, yet again.
Sadly, underneath this report is the report that I wrote about Clarion last year. Again it is now over 28 days since reporting over grown hedges, again Clarion does nothing but procrastinate. This year I have had to pay privately to get one path cleared so I can get to my Motability car. I am now over 80 and disabled from injuries received during my service to my country, and this is how Clarion treat people. They disgust me. This has happened every year since Clarion took over the housing.

Last years report.

Here we are, we are now at the 29th of August. Since my complaint about this dreadful company on the 13th August 2023. All they have done is send out a man to take photographs of the hedges, and nothing else. My 77 year old wife is expected to push me up a steep slope in my wheelchair to get to my car because the other hedge exiting our property is so overgrown it is virtually impassable. The path we are forced to use is now much the same. This is discrimination of the worst kind. Discrimination against age and disability. I now have no other alternative but to go the the local councils Health and Safety Department. It is now 3 months since this saga began. We were offered a very poor excuse by Clarion, "Out hedge cutting contractors are short of staff". When our council ran the properties things were done properly as they were when it was Mole Valley Housing. We have this problem with Clarion every year. The two paths are used by schoolchildren to get to the school across the road. We have written to the CEO with not any acknowledgement, we have made many phone calls, all to no avail, yet we have to still pay a grounds maintenance fee!

I have not received an email via Trust Pilot!! Another Clarion deviation move!!!!

Disgraceful neglect of social housing.

I cannot understand how they have such positive reviews.

I contacted them two months ago about my mothers foreign next door neighbour with regard to the disgusting state of the house and garden and the fact that all the garbage they have continually stacked up against my Mothers fence has now made the fence collapse. The house frontage is smothered in ivy, the garden shed has collapsed comepletely and is full of old mattresses etc. Rats have been seen running around there. An old sofa is now overgrown with foliage, a uncared for leylandi tree is now over 15 metres tall.

I have now sent five emails and got nothing back except an auto response. I finally had a phone call two weeks ago, stating that action would be taken but nobody has been near the place.

This is not the way to look after social housing, especially when allocated to a European family and will involve major expense when they move out to bring it back into a decent condition. I am only sorry I cannot post the appalling photographs here but I will put them on my Facebook page.

Worst housing association in the UK

Absolutely horrendous maintenance and zero care for the hundreda of thousands of residents in their properties. Our block has been complaining for years that our bin storage area is not safe, it constantly overflows with trash, flytipping and rodents, and that we have homeless people and drug users in there on the regular. Clarion recently installed CCTV, I give them that, however nobody ever checks the footage, so it basically doesn't do anything. Our bin area doors have been broken at least for the past 2 years since I moved in in spite of numerous complaints and even showing the neighbourhood manager in person what's wrong. Evey time we send yet another complaint, all we get in return are delays and excuses. Meanwhile our bin area is overflowing with trash, it reeks all the way down the street and is absolutely a biohazard. Clarion makes millions off of us and our rents and service charges, and is one of the largest housing associations in the country, how is it possible to have such absolute disrespect for people and the hundreds of thousands of properties they ought to be taking care of? Shambles!! Sort it out Clarion!!

Complete lack of maintenance, non-existent repairs and incompetent employees

The complaints and repair reporting website does not work.

Clarion is the freeholder of my flat and as such, responsible for the maintenance of external and communal areas of the 3-property, converted Victorian house. For years they have failed to adequately maintain the property, resulting in extensive damage.

When urgent repairs are raised with Clarion, it takes months for any inspection to be carried out. When the work is eventually undertaken, the work is unprofessional and of poor quality.

Complaints were not resolved and when chased, Clarion had no record or understanding of the multiple correspondences, visits or complaints which resulted in having to repeat all the issues to whichever phone/online chat operator I managed to get through to.

1 year on and STILL no repairs have been carried out.

The levels of incompetence in this company is astounding.

Amazing customer service

Pedro and Rhys came to fix my flooring in the kitchen and they did a great job. They were very friendly and polite, and they also fixed the flooring quickly and very well done! Very good job from them!

Falsely accused of Asb

Falsely accused of Asb, when I have been bullied and threatened. Tenancy specialist Hannah Hulse never even spoke to me to find out the facts. Seversl people have moved out of Highfields dur to bullying/stalking. Resident threatened to kick my bad legs beneath me. I am one being falsely accused of asb. Livesmart manager said I was not safe to use last lsundry slot because of this resident. I have varied my slots, with permission to keep safe. Now Hulse is accusing Mr of adb. I also have medical appointments and have asked to change out of necessity. She is being discriminatory against s dissbled perdon under the Equslity Act. Residents overrun on machines if like me, like to do s normal wash that cleans thr clothes. It is not asb!. We all pay for the service. There is a group of bullies ( gang) in the main building. One was nasty when manager was there!
1st May 24, spoke to leader of asb team yesterday, she said it sounds as if I am the victim of ASB. There was some positive movement in some areas. However, may need to go to stage 2, or ombudsman as there are still important issues which need resolving. Its notbidesl that Hulsed manager is investigating the complaint from the same team. Somewhat like a student marking their own homework. It would be better of neutral person investigated the complaint.
I went to use my laundry slot on Tues 30th April 24, minding my own business and one of the gang says in a snidey tone" shes here". I said I had every right to be there, and was born and bred in Sawbridgeworth, the gsng member tried to cover her tracks by saying " I was talking about her"guesturing in the direction of the Livesmart managers office. ( there was a notice for emergency contact on livesmart msnager door, so evidently she was not there. Gsng member was just covering her tracks, After that her friend told me to get s life. I could've said the same about her, ss she watches and "reports" people, as if it's her job of work.

I have recently complained about the…

I have recently complained about the dreadful lack of Caretaking at my block. No caretaking for 3 weeks this month alone (April). And yet Clarion are charging £137.52 a week for 24 Flats. When the caretaker does come he does as little as he thinks he can get away with. Unhelpful and rude. Caretaker, that's a joke, he does not care! The block is looking very shabby, rusting railings, flaking paint, blocked drains, slippery moss on drying area, et, et. Clarion is a HA that clearly does NOT care! A disgrace! Nothing will improve! To Add my neighbours had an Clarion operative come round several days ago to fix the jamming front door, and he has broken all the plaster and brickwork, the PVC frame has been broken with gunge poking out. bricks showing! This is the worse case of bodged workmanship I have seen! Door is NOT secure, is more jammed and has just been left.

Shambles and appalling

Major works were scheduled for 3 days took 3 weeks in that time they left my property unlocked and damaged my belongings- even rummaged through my cupboards while I want in the property- now refusing to pay for damage and still trying to schedule work despite me telling them NO until they resolve the outstanding issue of damage - can’t wait to move they are awful

Hi Carol, are you or the area manager willing to contact me as opposed to replying to reviews online? I had two failed appointments how much is the credit due back to? The work still needs to be done are we taking the operatives word over the tenants?

This company is a total disgrace

This company is a total disgrace, I bought a new home from them in Dec 2021, had to battle to get snagging completed before completing, the finish is dreadful and attitude was despicable and remains so.
I have 3 outstanding issues for 18 months ago which they still haven't dealt with despite numerous confirmation emails so I have had to pay for one of the issues myself which was poor guttering that was leaking, got worse because of the rain and eventually the join to the guttering broke. Their property management company Grange are also a disgrace, overcharging for what was supposed to be a nominal service charge for maintenance of the private road and landscaping.

Wish there was a zero star review

Wish there was a zero star review! Repairs department is a joke! Whoever is giving these 5 star reviews are obviously close friends/relatives of Clarion staff.
I’ve had satellite signal issues from September 2023 which has been reported to clarion several times, they do a temporary fix which doesn’t even last long. A week at most. Sent in 3 complaints since October 2023 and we are in February 2024 now, no acknowledgment of even receiving a complaint. Complaints don’t get dealt with but just in their inboxes. When you enquire about complaints they confirm they have received it as all the reference number/job numbers etc are there and the date and time of email is given to them, therefore they cannot deny it. They don’t take responsibility and just want to end the call as soon as possible, when you call back and get a different agent, they haven’t got a clue what you’re talking about and want to just raise a new job with a new reference number instead of linking the jobs!!

Avoid Clarion at all costs.
Having owned a property since 2006 I had to sell it in 2020. The contract were to be exchanging and arrangements for moving were made. However, Clarion delayed the process and the Buyer’s pulled out of the sale. After admitting their Liability eventually and a Three Year delay since taking it to the Ombudsman I’ve been awarded Three Hundred and Fifty Pounds for my time, trouble and inconvenience. What are they playing at??. I needed to accept a sale 10 Thousand less and change arrangements, move goods back, another Year of Bill paying of things that would be cleared, Living out of packed boxes and so much more not to mention the difficulties to this Day Clarion then deviously decided not to pay what had been instructed by the Ombudsman, they couldn’t find the claim then gave a Lousy apology. Clarion apologise for what was in the report!. How Lazy.. It’s been Two Months of false promises til eventually I am supposed to be collecting a Cheque. They’ve made Past insufficient payments to My account but on giving them new details, paid it to different details. After Two Yearly Consecutive Floods from pipes breaking down and a Boiler Flood from the upstairs Property, Dishonesty by Staff, an excessive amount of Emails, insufficient and inaccurate Communications, interfering staff not getting queries correct, understaffed services, Confusion and unknowing staff? I want nothing to do with C H. If given the chance to Speak out about what’s happened you’d steer well clear of Clarion. The Compensation department have gone back on their word to pay to My Account regardless, I was to collect the Cheque yet the staff dealing with it didn’t contact me.

I specifically asked to be emailed if I couldn’t be reached by Phone. For a company to defy the decision of the Ombudsman they really are seemingly Untrustworthy. Take caution to join this Group.
Years later I’m getting communications, after Moving, about their Water problem issues.

Clarion housing failed repair in a…

Clarion housing failed repair in a timely manner had a bathroom leak causing damaged to downstairs property privately owner in 2022 had new bath tub / toilet etc abd had to had new tiles .
Same thing happened again 2023 reported in July to clarion who came and visited me still haven’t done the work even till now January 2024 a d there now blaming me for not being available. I can afford to take any more time off work un paid including the 6 days on and off for swales heating there all taking the mick.
Had enough of they lazy approach to carrying out repair clarion housing has gone down hill used to be much better when they were circle 33 .
