I've been going through the process of purchasing my first home. Prior to this, all I would ever hear regarding solicitors during this process is that they take forever and you always need to prompt them to do something. Yet, from my experience of CJCH solicitors and having dealt with Mia is that this couldn't be further from the truth. Mia was excellent throughout the entire process and kept me thoroughly updated at each step, and was also very proactive in seeking updated to progress the transaction. This is all whilst remaining professional and friendly. It also helps that CJCH were a lot more cost effective to deal compared to all other solicitors I had previously been in contact with. I'd highly recommend!

We highly recommend using CJCH for probate and selling property. This was our first experience with probate and having Lauren assist us was fantastic. The process went very smoothly, with excellent communication and prompt responses to any questions we had. We felt CJCH was there for us every step of the way . We cannot recommend CJCH enough.

Our dealings were with FFion and Elizabeth, who made the process smooth and efficient. They were always available to answer any questions and provided constant updates. My wife is using them to carry out a divorce, filed beginning of March 2023. I have paid settlement figure and completed all required paperwork to her solicitor. I contacted the courts in April to find out there was a problem with payment of the fee via her solicitor. I was told by CJCH that the issue was resolved. I phoned the court today 01/06/23 to be told that we contacted CJCH on 20/04/23 as an issue with paperwork. After emails to Graeme Davis I'm still none the wiser. Seems very unprofessional to me. Glad I'm not paying for it. The secretary that answers the phone didn't have a clue. Pure Incompetence!!!

Update 23/7/23
Still no further on. Court says paperwork still not received, solicitor doesn't seem to be chasing. Rumour has it that the solicitor who was handling the case has now retired. If that's true then no surprise that the process has stalled.
