CB2 sent the table I ordered to their third party delivery company AMJ, with significant damage. The table was stained, cracked, chipped and the legs were scratched. I paid $1,000.00 in total for this table. I opted to have the table returned to CB2 and called to get refund. The lady was polite and efficient.
What a waste of time. You’d think a retailer who sells products at this cost would quality check their items before shipping.
I ordered a dining room table in August…
I ordered a dining room table in August (not cheap) it was expected to arrive in mid October, then late October, then early November, and now late November! I’ve called costumer service multiple times and they always knew what to say to get me off the phone. I spoke to faith yesterday and she was the most helpful and honest.
Today I finally received a message that my order is ready to be scheduled! I was pleasantly surprised, so I called and they tell me that the next available delivery is January 11, 2022!!! I was mind blown! This was my first time ordering, I really wanted to buy more stuff but these people are liars and wouldn’t recommend them to anyone!
AVOID CB2 - 0 Star Rating
AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! I wish I didn't have to give any stars for my recent experience. THIS IS THE WORSE SHOPPING EXEPRIECE I HAVE EVER HAD (and i'm a shopper). I work in luxury retail and this is not how my employer would ever function. I ordered an island last year and I still have not received it. What makes it even worse is CB2 attempted to deliver 3 times in the pass and each time they delivered the item it was damaged (looked like a rat got to it). I had to rearrange my kitchen and schedule to accommodate the deliveries and still no island. Last month I got two emails 1) stating the island would be here in December 2) it wont be here until January. I have yet to receive a call from the leadership team advising of an accommodation (which they told me they could no longer provide) or even a simple follow-up regarding the SUPER delayed delivery. If CB2 was not a well know company then I would honestly think that this was a SCAM. AGAIN THE WORSE shopping experience and the communication from well known brand i've every experienced. Also I've communicated this issue to several friends, co-workers, clients and family members and they all have had if not the same very similar experiences. Not to mention CB2 has charged my credit card in full and I have no island, just fake delivery dates.

I just bought some furniture from CB2 and I'm loving the quality. The only issue is that the delivery took slightly longer than expected. But I'm happy overall!
Great Customer Service Even better Products
Surprised to see the negative reviews as I had a great experience all around ordered multiple items. The shipping while expensive includes assembly which is great. One delivery slightly dinged my walk and they sent repairman shortly after to fix. When some of my items came early they sent these and waived the fee. The quality and look are unmatched and the best service we had ordering when decorating our house
Delivery never came
Ordered a bookshelf which kept getting pushed out - I ordered in May, it was meant to come in August and now October. It was scheduled to be delivered between 330-530pm and it never arrived, no explanation. Now I need to allocate time at home for another delivery in 2 weeks time. Can’t rely on any dates / times they give and it makes scheduling impossible.

I wish i can give them a zero if i can. I have never worked with a company whose customer service is so awful and I would never order anything from them.
Customer service time is awful: every customer service call, you are put on hold for more than 10 to 15 minutes at a time, and they will transfer you to another agent the moment you have a question they cannot answer, which means another 10 to 15 minutes of hold time.
Delivery management is awful: I ordered a bed frame from CB2 with a delivery date set for October 18th for my grandparents to sleep on when they visit me on October 22nd. I inquired with CB2 customer service team whether there were any availability on October 22nd for a delivery since I need to do some home improvements between the 18th and the 22nd. After learning there wasn't any, I told the customer service agent to please keep my original delivery date. Some how, a week after my initial call, I received an email that I am now "moved" to October 26th for my delivery date and when I called to move it back, they said they cannot do it anymore and said it was my fault for calling them to inquire, their exact words were "when we make an inquiry, they cancel the original delivery date and book you automatically on the next available". This is perhaps the most idiotic thing i have ever heard.
Funny enough, after this call, I tried to see if a pick up is feasible, which triggered the cancellation of my delivery and a now i have a pick up date of November 26th.
I just spent the last hour on the phone trying to cancel this order and I am not sure when they will ever pick up.

HORRENDOUS delivery service. backordered 8 dining charis in July and was told we would get delivery in October. Got the notice last week that they were in stock. Cannot get delivery until NOVEMBER 10. Are you kidding me?
The king of bait and switch
The king of bait and switch. They draw you in and charge you for furniture then continuously push the backorder date. I've been waiting almost a year to get a coffee table. They are clearly using their customers to front money to themselves even though they have no inventory on anything.
Dishonest Company...
I have bought many pieces - misled by the beautiful designs and the filtering out of all negative reviews on website. Any company with a 80% negative reviews and still the same problems continue...should be closed. Quality wise I do not have a big problem but the processing of orders kills follow up orders. Beware for the following:
1. Their outdoor furniture is not robust enough and rust after a few days outside in normal weather, storing furniture inside if we are away from the beachhouse- being advertise as stainles steel...remind you of covering the furniture with covers that are out of stock DO NOT BUY THEIR OUTDOOR FURNITURE - LOOKS BEAUTIFUL BUT DOES NOT LAST ONE MONTH....
2. Delivery scheduling a nightmare and so disorganized. Getting confusing calls...driving two hours to receive goods only to be notified via email that there seems to be a problem 7pm in the evening. No one care just to call you - Fedex is busy destroying there reputation working with CB2. When ordering the items, they advertise 7-14 day delivery. When scheduling, they can only delivery 1-2 months later. They are a very dishonest company and lured you with false information. I will never never buy again from them.

I order three mirrors and the delivery persons didn’t deliver for whatever reason. They won’t tell me, they didn’t even call to tell me they were here. They were only here for a few minutes they didn’t even ring my intercom and they lied and said they did. I can’t stand this ******** of a company. Now I have to reschedule it’s no fault of mine and they won’t even give me a expedited delivery date for their screw up.
Misrepresents product photos, sketchy customer service
Both CB2 and Crate & Barrel consistently misrepresent items. I've received items that differ wildly from the product photos. Customer service will tell you the product description says "each item will be unique". If the product item shows a bright, vibrant blue rug, and the then the rug I receive is a dark navy, almost gray, that hardly falls under "each item will be unique". The truth here is that this company doesn't seem to work closely with its manufacturers to make sure the customers are getting a consistent product. A lot of times the product photos on the website aren't even real, but 3D models that have been photoshopped to add cords and shadows, etc. This is especially true with lamps I've noticed. It's absurd. If you can't get a grip on your inventory to provide actual product photos, then scale it back.
But worse, when there is a problem, customer service is often not helpful, and can even be rude and argumentative. They make it clear they're doing a favor by resolving the problem, even though they pulled a bait and switch with the product. Not to mention their customer service seems sketchy. I know it's state side, I believe out of Chicago. I had my C&B credit card "compromised" after giving it to a rep over the phone. I only used this card on the website twice and over the phone with a rep once, yet it was stolen. Finally, the quality of the products is not so hot these days. It's basically on par with what you'd get at one of these other closeout type websites. I don't expect perfection, but at the prices they charge, I expect a problem to be resolved without question. I'll Pass.
Waited months for my nightstands to…
Waited months for my nightstands to come in only for BOTH to be damaged. The wood on the top corner was cracked on one. Thought I’d be able to make due with just a 10% refund and request a replacement for the other, which was completely broken down. Then find out the drawer wont close on the 1st we decided to keep. I say this with extreme caution DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. These products are made in China poorly and then FEDEX does a terrible job with delivery. Such a waste waiting on these. Lastly the back boards on the dressers seemed to not even be glued on. Do better CB2!
Pickup is a SCAM
This is a scam, they hit you with the classic bait and switch. Telling you it is available for pick up and then tell you the first available pickup window is 3 months away. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE.
If I could give 0 start, I would. Save yourself the time and money and go elsewhere! I much rather buy from Ikea that give my money to this incompetent brand.

If I could give zero stars on Customer Service, I would. Texted CB2-- no replies. Called and was put on hold for over an hour and no answer. Finally, get a chat rep who is outright rude and does not care. I waited weeks for my items. Two are ready and they won't even set the delivery date until after all 4 are supposed to be in (mid-Oct), but the kicker is they will only schedule two of the 4 items because the other two aren't in! So why do I have to wait for two that are in? Terrible experience, and terrible customer service
Used to LOVE CB2, but no more
I used to think CB2 had solid customer service, but they are, as many are saying here, awful now. I have spent sooo much time talking to customer service reps three days in a row trying to locate a medicine cabinet that was just flat out lost in a warehouse. Had I not called, it just would have been lost forever. Every time I spoke to someone -- and I am up to 4 different people now -- and they each assured me that my item had been found and would now ship, but it just wasn't happening. I now am begging them to cancel and can't get anyone to answer me. Crickets. They are really terrible and honestly don't seem to care at all. They were nice enough in saying what WOULD happen, but when it didn't happen there was no accountability. Which is a shame as I DO like their stuff. Room and Board has so much better service. Others have suggested restoration hardware too, but I tend toward a more modern look, so not sure that is for me. I have well over $3000 in furniture on order and am considering canceling because they are really just that bad at service.

Stay away..!!!! Spend a little more and go to RH restoration hardware. They are loyal. CB2 takes your money and makes you wait months and months. Keeps on pushing back delivery date:
I was schedule today for something I bought back in May and to find out something went wrong with my delivery and it’s not scheduled. I bought many things from RH and it was always on time in ahead of delivery date. CB2 is the worse store ever. It’s not worth it. CB2 is terrible.
