Very knowledgeable staff who were very helpful. Made the selection of a new car seat very easy and had complimentary fitting too. Also had a wealth of knowledge on baby wearing and I picked up a few tips and tricks while discussing a new carrier for little one.

I’d highly recommend Cariad Babi to anyone who needs information or support about anything regarding their young child.

My experience was absolutely great, from very start when I purchased the seat online up to fitting it by Kia.
Very efficient i was contacted quickly with appointment dates and very easy to arrange Saturday fitting to match my hubby's day off. Kia is very friendly and so lovely , installed the seat in less then 10min and we couldn't check the fit straight away as my baby girl was sleeping but we did later and send pictures to Kia and she replied so quickly to confirm what to change or adjust. Amazing service, highly recommend!

From the first point of contact via the live chat feature on the website, communication and customer service was fantastic and quick. Kia was so welcoming and passionate, as well as extremely knowledgeable, about Extended Rear Facing. We received excellent advice, and did not feel any sales pressure at all.
I also looked at the sling library, and will definitely be going back for our baby carrier for our new baby.

Hired a carrier to try out, and had excellent customer service. Everyone at Cariad Babi puts a lot of work and soul into what they do, and are really committed to helping people. I've gone on to purchase multiple items from them which have been delivered quickly and I frequently recommend them to friends. There's an added bonus that every purchase I make helps people in their local community get safe car seats!

Kia was amazing at helping us find the perfect car seat for our son. After only learning about extended rear facing recently I had no idea what to really look for. Kia was amazing from the start, with being super accommodating with booking an appointment to the actual advice and seat demonstrations. We had an idea on which seat we wanted to look at but we were shown other options as well which were actually better for our son and will last him the longest. Kia wasn’t pushy with the sale in the slightest but I can’t imagine buying a seat from elsewhere now.

Also a massive bonus for us was a super kid friendly shop where our son could play whilst Kia talked us through everything.

We drove a couple of hours and it was totally worth it.
I had purchased a britax maxway plus online and picking up however I stil had lots of questions (alot!) Kia was amazing totally supporting us and helping fit and showing us correct ways to install along with giving us some vital information about seatbelts. I also enquired about the axkid mini kid 3 and both staff were so helpful showing me the setup etc there was no push or hard sell and they helped set up in the car (in multiple options and seat variations) before I had decided if I wanted to take it. So knowlegable kind and helpful this company is amazing. I can't thank them enough as volunteers spreading there knowledge to other parents and supporting local ethical and sustainable companies I'd much rather put my money into a business like this. They are mums helping other mums. Thankyou again so much.

Cariad Babi/Midlands Car Seat Centre always go above and beyond to provide the best support and customer service for my family and I. I cannot recommend them enough!

We received absolutely superb service at the Midlands Car Seat Centre from Kia, choosing and buying an extended rear facing car seat for our little one once he outgrew his infant seat. Kia gave us all the time we needed to gain confidence fitting the seat, and never pressured us to buy (we'd planned to buy anyway but it was great not to have the sales patter!), just giving us unbiased expert advice with safety and comfort in mind. She showed us how to fit our chosen seat in our car, ensured we were both confident, took trouble to fit it before we drove away. There were gorgeous toys available for our little one to play with and I later returned to hire cloth nappies. When we changed our car a few months later I returned to double check that the seat was fitted correctly. Jess was more than happy to check and talk about it with us. Everyone who can easily travel to Derby should use this service.

I've used the sling library to choose our perfect sling and it was a wonderful experience. Great selection and very reasonably priced to hire.

The volunteers are all so knowledgeable and friendly.

I booked an 1.5 hour intro into carrying session despite having lots of front carrying g experience. I explained when I booked what my previous experience was, that I wanted to back carry and hire something for an upcoming holiday and Kia could not have been better! Before I arrived she had planned out what slings would be best for us to try based on me previous experience and even thought out the best order for us to try them in. She was so supportive, kind, friendly. I can't find any negative. Worth every penny!

Being first time parents with twins, we were completely overwhelmed by choice of car seats and knew we needed some advice. Kia clearly explained all we needed to know to make an informed decision for ourselves. There was no pressure to buy anything and everything shown to us was conscious of our budget. Even better, whilst we were talking, our little ones were able to play in a little play area provided by the shop, which made life so much easier! We got to try before we buy in our own car, got it fitted after purchase and they also provide a great aftercare too with seat checks. I'm so glad we came here for our car seats.

Excellent service and aftercare- I bought my Axkid car seat from here a couple of years ago. Kia gave me advice onna query recently. I bought sear protectors for it recently, again superb service and aftercare. The whole premise of the business is fantastic (not for profit) The products they sell and services offered are fab for any parent. Kia and her team are wonderful.

I never usually write reviews but this place deserves one. Absolutely fantastic customer service! We went to have our carseat fitted yesterday and it was such a smooth process. Kia professionally installed the carseat in little time and give us tips as she was doing it. Ive previously hired slings and have purchased from here too- always a pleasure! The shop is a little gem- my 2 year old made herself right at home and had a lovely time playing with the toys- such a child friendly place 😊

An outstanding example of customer service and knowledge of their field! From the moment we stepped through the door I knew not only were we in the safe hands of a professional, but the respect and care for our own child’s life was Kia’s top priority.
We gave a brief of our needs, which was to stay as ERF as longs as possible with a seat that needed to fit through narrow doors and be easier for my retired mother to lift in and out of the car as it would be her seat.
All this was taken into consideration along with tips on how to carry and install whilst being mindful of my mothers RSI.
We are just waiting now for our seat to come in stock and then looking forward to a trip back to install.
Worth noting, there is follow up support for the life of the seat too!

I initially visited the shop for advice on the next car seat for my 2 year old. Was given really thorough advice and the staff are really knowledgeable. Purchased a seat on the day and had it fitted. Great service!
