Bottom line: helpful and friendly. Not pushy. Helped with a tricky car seat question and we've bought a seat from them.

We needed help working out if we could fit 3 car seats in our 5 door hatchback. They have us advice on where the the car we could safely try seats out and also fitted a demonstration seat in multiple different configurations so we could see what might work with the seats we already have. We're really pleased we found them on Google and would recommend if your car seat question is not straight forward.

A great place to find unbiased advice about the safest car seats available. It’s reassuring to be able to go to a retailer who will problem solve the peculiarities of your own vehicles - a new model car and campervan conversion. We felt no pressure to buy but have selected the right model for us and I’m sure we will when the time is right. Without the business model in place the experience would have been entirely different.

I honestly cannot rate Kia any higher! Utterly amazing experience and she is so passionate, friendly and non judgemental. Breath of fresh air to walk into a shop not to feel pressured into buying something. I had been struggling with all the information about car seat safety and Kia was able to simply break it down for me. She was able to listen to my needs as a parent and help me find a seat that worked for me with a disability and my young daughter.

Thank you Kia for being so passionate about car seat safety and for helping us. Really, really appreciate it!!

Wow! We have been stuck in the whirlwind of car seats for a few weeks now! Our son has just outgrown his infant carrier and we were looking for something that would last a while, and keep him rear facing for longer. We were very unsure though if what we understood of it all was correct or not, so we decided to book an appointment with Kia and as I say, wow! This lady is super friendly, passionate about what she does, very well informed, and has a great selection if everything in her shop. She talked us through everything, answered all our questions, demonstrated everything step by step, and showed us in our car too, with our little man having a go in it aswell. We weren't sure we were going to buy that day before we went, but with Kia's help and support we felt well informed and happy to purchase there and then, meaning our son had a safe ride home. He even fell asleep in it on the way back so it must be a good fit!
Honestly, if you need a little help to decide between seats you've shortlisted, or have no idea where to start, Kia is your lady. So well informed, doesn't speak with all the jargon, personal experience from her own family, and she doesn't spend the time selling to you either, it really is about giving you all the tools you need. We travelled from Leicester to see her and we're very happy we did. Thank you!

If I could give more stars I would!
I travelled up from Kent with my 10 month old baby to visit and purchased two seats from Kia. The customer service was amazing and I was talked through, shown and then was able to install both seats in my car and my son fitted in both. Kia is so knowledgeable in car seat safety and feel incredibly relieved that my son is now safe in ERF seats in both vehicles.
Kia even went above and beyond when my car broke down before the journey back to Kent. She kept the shop open for me to wait for recovery and provided a safe, warm and dry place for me to feed and change my son.
I would recommend visiting Kia for any car seat or baby wearing needs (the choice of slings in the shop was very extensive!) and would have no hesitation in travelling to visit Kia again.

We booked in for a car seat appointment and wow, what amazing customer service! Definitely would highly recommend! They had a very small selection of seats however it felt like these had been chosen for specific reasons (safest!) so we were happy that these were all we needed to see for our needs. Kia was brilliant at showing us how to fit the seat in the car, I just wish we had left a bit more time and didn't have our 4 month old with us and a happier toddler who would've tried the seat!

Kia went above and beyond to help us find a carrier that suited our needs and is a font of knowledge regarding the practicalities of Babywearing and breastfeeding. Her demonstrations and guidance were really easy to follow, and she was great at pointing out ring sling pitfalls and how to avoid them.

Kia was also incredibly understanding of the difficulties in caring for a cranky baby - without her flexibility around the timing of our booking we would not have been able to make it. I can't thank you enough.

To reassure others - before I went, I was worried that we'd be pressured into buying a carrier but there was nothing of the sort.

Jess and Kia were very welcoming, very helpful and super knowledgeable about car seats, cloth nappies and baby wearing. I didn't feel under pressure to buy anything (which is always a bonus when you have a baby already putting time pressures on you) and I would 100% recommend, even if it is a bit of a journey!

Kia was really nice and helpful showing us how to use our sling carrier with our newborn baby. Her teaching methodology really helped us absorbing loads of information easily and we went back home confident we would carry our baby safely. We were also impressed by the range of support topics they cover at Cariad Babi. I would definitely recommend a visit to any new parents.

We booked an appointment to discuss our car seat needs for rear facing our baby who is high percentiles. Kia was extremely knowledgeable and explained the benefits of rear facing for as long as possible. She showed us our options and demonstrated how to use the seat in our car. We couldn't have been happier with the service we received on ordering and the subsequent fitting of our purchase. We would definitely use them again.

We had a sling consultation with Kia for our 5 month old and 2.5 year old, and she was brilliant! We were able to try a few different options, selected by Kia after a discussion about what we needed, and chose one to try out for the week. Kia had some fantastic tips and tricks and showed us how to get the best out of the slings we already had, and the ones we were hiring to test. You can tell that Kia is passionate about helping people, and the experience was just lovely from start to finish.

I visited the shop for a car seat fitting with Kia. We travelled over 3 hours to be able to visit the shop and it was well worth the trip!
Kia was lovely and welcoming, the shop is beautiful, and she was happy to let my little girl roam free and play with the toys provided whilst we spoke car seats!
Kia ensured the seat I wanted suited our needs, and fitted the car in the best way too, and from start to finish made sure I was happy with how to fit everything myself. I just can’t believe it’s a non profit company as I would happily pay for Kia to profit from the experience we had on our visit. And most importantly my daughter loves her new car seat.

Kia is incredible, we bought an Axkid Minikid last year and the aftercare has been incredible. Been back multiple times for a refit and Kia and the team always sort us without any issues. I overheard her recommending a car seat for a family's situation and referring them to another retailer as that would be the best for them - because she cares about safe car seats. A true gem of a shop and service.

Kia was extremely helpful when choosing a car seat for our son age 4 She did not make us feel rushed and kept the shop open to allow us to try all of the options we were looking at. She was engaging with our two children and I would recommended to anyone looking for a car seat to make an appointment here.

Phenomenal understanding and wonderful personalised advice

Kia and Jess are so genuinely lovely they care passionately about child car safety never is overbearing, no judgements, they've helped me since being pregnant 2021 and they're still very helpful and supportive now nothing is too much trouble, Kia's shop is lovely I love the wooden toys. I always recommend this shop to every pregnant woman and every parent as unfortunately car seat safety isn't well mentioned.

Fantastic service, we ordered a britax maxway plus for my in laws car and it was really reasonably priced - Kia fitted the seat for my son’s grandparents and really helped them with how to use the seat and has allowed us to send pictures of the fit for follow up. Really highly recommend thank you.
