The Club was formed in 1907 as ‘The Caravan Club’. 110 years later in 2017 we wanted to reflect our broadening membership and became the ‘Caravan and Motorhome Club’.
We are an inclusive club, representing the interests of over 1.1 million caravanners, motorhomers, campervanners and campers providing our members access to over 2,700 quality campsites across the UK and Europe.
As the No. 1 rated UK touring club, our purpose is to help our members get more from the great outdoors.

Brilliant site
Brilliant site, recent upgrade certainly shows that camper feedback is taken on board. Washroom facilities with underfloor heating make a huge difference. Plenty of of hooks in shower cubicles too. All round 5 star site. Number plate recognition and automatic pitch allocation a game changer.

BEWARE (Relating to insurance through…
BEWARE (Relating to insurance through the club only ) they auto-renew - and TAKE PAYMENT - 13 days before the renewal date. If you request a cancellation/refund, then YOUR money takes 5-7 days to come back to you - for a transaction you hadn't approved or expected. The 'auto-renew early' is apparently hidden as an 'opt-out' in the inception of the policy. I won't be the first or the last caught by this - a surprising move by a normally reputable company. This needs changing - and fast! I'm flabbergasted by this whole thing - not acceptable AT ALL. Over £400 taken without consent - and I have to wait a week for the return of my own money. Outrageous!!
Update:
They've taken the £400 payment AGAIN 3 days after the first debacle!
So I've now paid TWICE for a policy that I hadn't approved or agreed to. Abysmal . AVOID!

Brittany trip.
Very convenient to book campsite and ferries in one go, with one bill.
Ferries (Brittany) were very good - food and cabins excellent. Loading and unloading straightforward if a little longwinded.
Campsite - Raguenes Plage is superb - lovely site, good emplacements with lots of trees, very good restaurant, nice pool but the major attraction is the beach!

I feel that the club is loozing it,s personal touch with going for automzted check in,s a d not ha ing that contact with site wardens and is getting far to expensive trying to sqeeze every last penny out of members bumping site price up at weekends when members have stayed on same site several days before, lets not forget that its the older members of the club that suport the club on week days our club is for members and not just for profit making a bit cheaper will get the older members supporting more in mid week
so come on CMC think a bit more of we old one s after all it,s a members club as well as a buisness

Wonderful can’t wait for next year
Spent in total 5 weeks here this year half in July and just returned from our last trip. As always lovely clean well maintained camp site, staff are all fabulous nothing is too much trouble. Now have takeaway meals on two nights fish and chips one night and pizza the other both lovely and reasonably priced. Lovely island, loads to see and do as well as just chilling out. Can’t wait to come back next year!
