Following my initial introduction period of two months and several onboarding sessions with Gillian Donnelly I can say that I feel in good hands with Brookson.
Gillian has provided excellent guidance and continued support to better understand the most efficient way to run my business accounts. She has gone the extra mile to make sure I understand the processes during each call and has been has been great to communicate with. What is comforting is after our last onboarding session, Gillian left me with with a great summary sheet of key actions to assist with managing my company throughout the year AND an open door to contact her when or if I need advice. A great start, thankyou Gillian.

Avoid. They charge exorbitant fees for effectively a postbox and call centre. They don’t provide a very personal service and you seldom get to speak to the same person more than once when trying to resolve queries, resulting in me having to repeat my queries/requests. They are also very slow to respond to queries. They don’t take any initiative to understand your business or situation and I’ve ended up having to prompt them on multiple occasions when they’ve dropped the ball.

I previously used Brookson One accounts service when I was a self employed consultant and have now moved to semi retirement. In the process I required financial advice for pension and investment guidance to ensure I was prepared financially for retirement. Brookson nominated one of their advisers who lives in my area. I have to state that the service from both their accountants and now their financial adviser has been first class and would recommend them without hesitation.

Always treated with expertise and excellent manners. Yesterday I was attended to by Olivia Tarry who put me at ease with her advice and research. I felt very happy after our conversation. Thankyou for that Olivia.

Peter Lower has given me excellent, considered advice on my pension as I come closer to retirement. He listens to what I have to say and provides helpful recommendations. Very easy to book a telephone call. I have confidence in his advice

Throughout the whole process of joining Brookson and their onboarding lessons they have been very professional and informative. Danielle in particular has been very informative, professional and patient during the onboarding process. I would recommend using Brookson

Their response times are painfully slow, you can wait ages for even the simplest answer. And when they finally do reply, half the time the information is wrong, forcing you to chase them again and again.

The service is chaotic, careless, and very unprofessional. I’ve dealt with multiple accountants over the years, and Brookson has easily been the worst. If you value your time, your sanity, and your business, avoid Brookson Accounting at all costs.
