I appreciate the attentiveness of the staff at Brookhaven Law firm. I have never heard of this company until a representative reached out to me. I was given good information about the program to include my credit score declining for a season. I was so nervous when my score started to decline; the staff was there to calm me down and guide me through the process. I give Brookhaven Law Firm a 5 star rating & I look forward to continuing to work with the staff.

Pro's - my payments are one lump sum which is awesome.

Con's - my credit score tanked, the payments I agreed to were not honored and the company continues to pressure me to accept settlements that would raise my payments. The last one they pushed on me would have increased my payment over $100.

When I found Brookhaven I was struggling a little. I joined to have them renegotiate my payments. I did not realize or understand that the only way they will go about this is by defaulting on every outstanding debt you have, which doubles the debt, then they negotiate a reduction and add fees. Unless you are on the brink of financial collapse, I would not recommend. I was juggling, but I was making it and building my credit and I wrecked that.

Negotiations are obviously working well I’m close to the 47% average agent that talked to me. Today was absolutely helpful on every question I ask.

Slow handling accounts. Called concerning small claims action told would receive a call back no response avoid this firm

My customer service representative was amazing. She was attentive, answered all of my questions, ensured I fully understand how to navigate the client portal, and assisted me with the next action to complete regarding my solution process. She was also very knowledgeable and professional.

The representative had amazing patience with an elderly person. He answered all of my questions and he remained patient until I had no more questions.

I’m very satisfied I would recommend better communication regarding any updates of your status of the accounts

Everything! I thought this was a fantastic company; however, my thoughts and feelings changed due to a terrible experience with a gentleman who negotiated an offer for one of my credit cards. I also don't understand how I assigned all of my credit cards to Brookhaven and yet, I am still having the worst experience. I feel like this entire thing was a bad idea.

Consistent and as promised.

I cannot say my experience with Brookhaven law has been a good one. I started off excited to begin this program with them, to get my credit back on track, but I have found myself contacting them in situations where I feel they should’ve been the ones reaching out to me. When they do reach out to you, they reach out during work hours when I am unable to answer the phone, so I call back as soon as I get off work but suddenly nobody is available to answer the phone. I have emailed multiple times and received no responses. I now have two late payments on my credit for an account that is with Brookhaven. When I called to inquire about this, I felt dismissed and was told it was my job to sort it out, which is contrary to what I was initially told when I signed up for this program, which is once these debts went into consolidation with them, all communication had to go through Brookhaven law.
I honestly feel there are better companies out there that can do the same job so my advice to you is to do your research and find someone else.

Keeping me abreast of when my creditors want to settle with any offers and also keeping records of credit cards paid off.

Gets the job done and they have good support.

Took them forever to settle and when I called to change bank accounts they screwed that up therefore causing me to be late on a payment and they have to renegotiate again even though I tried to pay bye my bank card they could not accept my payment

I got on board with the company due to serious medical condition . I had brain surgery and needed their help to manger my creditor. Several creditor was taken off because they were not eligible. They were high . Now another creditor with a high balance they came back to me and explain a higher repayment plan and paying that creditor more money over time with me putting down a large amount of money over many thousands of dollars. What the %#*%#*. I’m not happy at all with coming out of a kidney surgery a week ago and hearing this. I just cried and hung up I couldn’t discuss the matter at this time. I will give an update on this review soon. My sister had just had two heart attack right before I took Brookhaven law firm.
