Timber was European Oak and was top grade! Will use British Hardwoods again!

I've ordered European white oak from BH a couple of times now for various furniture projects, and each time they've sent beautiful, straight and true timber which has been wrapped incredibly well for transport. Great after sales service and they also provided a bit more than requested, for the inevitable mistakes my end. Would highly recommend for premium hardwood in the UK.

I bought a few lengths of oak at a cost of just over £40 the cost for delivery was over £32. That's almost 75% of the goods price. I have bought from here before and the delivery and wood is good however the delivery charge is far too much for me. I think it's my last order for this reason.

Produced and delivered a beautiful oak beam. Plenty of character marks such as splits and cracks.

Delivered by a friendly chap in the company's own van - was given a delivery estimate ~1 week before delivery, and precise delivery time on the day.

Really pleased, will order again.

The quality of the products was great and their customer service people were very helpful when I had a few questions.

A returning customer, I've had several orders from British Hardwoods, some small and some much larger.
Flawless every time, I've dealt with them almost as long as they have been trading and always been completely satisfied. For me they have been an excellent supplier. Thank you to them.

Excellent service and the timber was delivered on time. We order oak and all the planks arrived in great condition, were well packaged and to the requirements we stated in the notes. Will use again in the future.

easy ordering process, oak was well packaged, delivered as described, to the exact dimensions and with consistent grain

They had exactly what I wanted, and at a good price compared to other suppliers. They offered an oiling option, which was worth the cost. Ordering was easy, delivery quick and kept informed throughout the process.

I recently ordered some Maple planks for flooring in my hall, came on time and well wrapped and a good price, exactly as ordered not damaged.I definitely order some more materials

Poplar, precisely cut and very well packed, just a light sand and any subtle planer marks are gone. I just hope I ordered enough. Will definitely be back

Easy to order, easy to collect and great quality of timber, what more do you want?

Beautiful timber and a competitive price.

Really efficient service from British hardwoods however the Pallet Track courier forgot to include our consignment on the lorry and we didn’t find out until 11am. We had taken time off and arranged for others to help unload - all of our time wasted.
British Hardwood dealt with this really well, calling the Pallet Track courier to complain and They ensured that our delivery would be with us first thing the next morning and they kept us informed throughout. They repeatedly apologised for the situation even though they were not to blame.
British Hardwoods really good to deal with we’d recommend this supplier.

Pallet Track company was a different story, no apology and poor service.

Very easy to order from. The oiled solid oak chamfered skirting was very well packaged and delivered in perfect condition. From start to finish excellent and highly recommned to other people and Trades.

Absolutely beautiful wood.
Arrived incredibly well packaged and on time. No damage at all.

Excellent wood and exactly as ordered. Very happy and would highly recommend. Delivery was longer than expected so order in plenty of time!

Called in today in a bit of a panic . Needed a couple of pieces of wood to complete a table project for my mother’s birthday . I cannot thank Rob and Joe enough for the super friendly , knowledgable and efficient way they treated me and got me sorted . Two super blokes who are a credit to British Hardwoods .

Many Thanks
Stephen
