Very difficult to speak to a live person to resolve issues.
After purchasing a gift for a friend the problems started.
Their poor autofill system got the delivery address wrong this became a nightmare to resolve because they have no live people to deal with only via live chat and it is like pulling teeth.
Then the invoicing they send out via hardcopy is confusing and ridiculous. Again the only real person you can speak to is in sales. They want to sell you more but so far as customer services is concerned they are appalling
Hence I will never use The Bradford Exchange, Heritage Coins, The Ashton Drake Galleries or The Hamilton Collection as they are ALL tied together. They are as bad as British Gas for poor customer services. They have all the buzz words and mumbo jumbo words to confuse and screw you but in reality are just greedy for more sales. Shame really because thejr products are quite good but their aftercare customer services are the pitts.

2 orders, nothing delivered.
Order from December 2nd didn't arrive, no communication despite me sendoing emails.
I reordered on January 3rd, received an email saying that I will receive a further email when the item is despatched, still no further information. This was a gift for my husband who loves steam trains. Hopefully it might arrive in time for his birthday in April. What more can I do.

I was tricked...
I was tricked into buying a lamp for £219.96 as I clicked a button saying free delivery.
I had an email within seconds saying I had bought the lamp.
It was sent straight back un-opened via the post office.. 4 weeks to return the money & you cant speak to anybody on the phone..
No answers from emails..
Disappointed as I have bought from them many times..

Waited the required 10 days and sent email and got reply within 48 hours and refund within 5 days. No quibble or hassle. Great customer service

I am in total amazement
I am in total amazement. I ordered candles from Bradfird Exchange in October 2025 at £89.99 but never received them despite lots of phone calls and emails. I hsd practically given up when yesterdsy 19th JANUARY 2026 I opened a Letter from Bradford Exchange to find a cheque for the money I had paid them. Still NO Rememberance candles which I really wanted but at least they have returned my money albeitv3 MONTHS AFTER MY ORDER!! PS. And if you read the reviews you will notice that EVERY answer is the same to EVERY customer, we are told to get on to their website site and have a "chat" with them. NOT a real person of course but AI. But still NOTHING gets done and the order is still NOT sent. Chatting with friends is lovely but why would I want to waste my time chatting to a piece of tech who resolves nothing?

Ordered The Flying Scotsman clock which…
Ordered The Flying Scotsman clock which arrived broken Bradford Exchange received it on 5th Jan 2026 (signed for by them) I requested a replacement but sales person says it wasn't on my account that I had requested a replacement (it definitely was!) So I requested a refund, that was on the 5th January 2026...... STILL waiting for refund as the last sales person told me they couldn't do the refund because they were stock taking !!! (never heard so much rubbish in my life.) All I want is a refund of £209.95 which they had no hesitation in taking but I am having great difficulty in getting it back for a BROKEN ITEM.
SHOCKING SERVICE !!

In September last year ,I ordered a very sentimental ring for my mums 90th birthday that was in October. The ring was a special gift for mum from my father who had passed away just before my mums 90th. It’s now January and the ring never arrived. I wasn’t contacted by anyone from the company I had to keep chasing them and I kept getting told it’s out of stock it will be in stock in 4 weeks. I’ve now cancelled my order as was told again it’s not in stock will be another 6 weeks . I will never order from this company again. Customer service is very poor you can’t speak by phone it’s just a live chat. I’m absolutely disgusted
