BookaHouseboat.com Anmeldelser

Simple, straight-forward platform.

Easy to find accommodations, and the photos provided by home owners are accurate and realistic!

Fast communication between the platform and the hosts as well.

Simple, easy and effective platform. Allowed us to book a houseboat and have a bucket list experience in Amsterdam with no hassle.

The website was easy to use, communication was excellent and regular enough to be very useful.

Super site internet pour trouver un logement sur l'eau. Belle découverte sur une réservation à Amsterdam. Complètement satisfait et service client au top !. MERCI

Easy booking system, lovely room on family’s houseboat, very clean and stylish, helpful host with great communication

Good messaging service, easy to make booking, will be using again.

En effet, bookahouseboat répond très courtoisement aux avis négatifs… mais ils les effacent ensuite.

Excellent service. Took the fear out of booking a house boat abroad, knowing the money doesn't come out of the account till a few days after we arrived. We have used booka twice now, no hassles and the house boat owners have been lovely and accomodation as advertised.

Maria communicated with us very efficiently, answering my queries promptly. She was very pleasant and made the boat very hospitable, with lots of essentials included. We were grateful for the coffee maker and milk frother. We assumed Maria was staying next door in the houseboat, and discretely left us to it. We really enjoyed the view from the windows, which we could open wide. A very peaceful and quiet spot, with a supermarket only 4 mins walk away. Thank you so much, you made our stay so special!

The website was very thorough in all of the guidelines for booking. For our particular stay, the owner provided a lot of images and a very detailed description. Booking was very easy and I really appreciate the company’s sustainability efforts.

We found a great houseboat on bookahouseboat. It was very easy to book it and obtain the information we needed. They were very responsive when I had some additional questions. Would recommend.

Description and photos were good, booking easily done and enough reminders not forget the last payment, ensure you know where you are going and how to get the key.

Gerne wieder.

Undesirable Experience:

Booked 8 months in advance to have best pick of available houseboats for our week stay in November. We loved the website and all the options and we picked our favorite boat/location. Owner just cancelled, 2 months before our trip. The reason for cancelling was the city not renewing his B&B license but, on his listing, it shows available rentals beginning again in 2026, 1 month later.. Company acted indifferent, and when asked to help further, they only send links to their website with our dates and persons selected; something anyone can do themselves to search their website..

Booker Beware; Our listing just cancelled on us after being confirmed for 6 months, with little help from BookaHouseboat to amend the situation. I understand unforeseen issues can arise on both sides, but I didn't feel that my booking would be honored/respected if I booked again through this company.

Great website to book a unique place to stay in Amsterdam! Easy to navigate and lots of different options available. Made our stay nice and easy. No issues at all with contacting hosts via the platform.

Had a great experience, I felt secure knowing that if my host was to fail me that I was able to get my money back. I know some people dont like middle men but BookaHouseboat was great at giving me some security that the people I was organising a boat with, where legitimate and reasonable.

Good communication, easy booking

A great booking platform, which is easy to navigate through.

BookaHouseboat.com is a fantastic website with all very unique and well advertised houseboats/B&B's to rent.. Easy to inquire, book and pay. Plus the service fees are much lower then other platforms which benefits you as a booker. I have had nothing but good experiences using the website and most definitely will use them again. 10/10 ;-)
