A response to my request for a replacement LED unit was received and actioned within 2 hours. They honour their 2 Year Warranty without without a quibble and are to be commended.

Had problem with order, reported it evening, rec phone call next morning. Order sorted. Can't be bad can it? And person had no strong accent so was fully understood by me who is partially Deaf.

Ordered a hard to find discharge lamp ballast and a couple of miniature fluorescent tubes but BLT e-mailed to say they have refunded the cost of the ballast. I have e-mailed them back to enquire if they have an alternative product but I have not received a reply. If I had known they couldn't get the ballast I would not have ordered the tubes as I don't want to pay £4.49 shipping on two £4.83 tubes! I understand mistakes happen but they should have contacted me to discuss available options rather than just generating an automated refund then radio silence.

Yesterday I ordered some Calex LED filament dimmable candle bulbs from BLT, having checked that they were in stock and therefore could be shipped quickly.
Today I received an email “Dear Sir there is a one week delay on the Calex lamps. Please accept our apologies for this delay. kind regards wendy”
I have just checked the website and the bulbs are still being flagged as “In Stock Available for delivery”.
This has happened before. The last time the product remained flagged as available throughout. Originally, I was inclined to believe it to be some sort of ineptitude in updating stock levels on the website. However, it seems that BLT are willing to show products as “In Stock Available for delivery” when clearly they are not, presumably to encourage customers to buy from BLT and not their competitors.
This behaviour is unacceptable.

I do appreciate your sincere apologies; however, if you do not have a live stock system, how can you assert with any confidence whether an item is “In Stock | Available for delivery” or not?
The best you might be able to put on your website would probably be: “We think this item might be [In Stock | Available for delivery], but we don’t really know – ‘cause we haven’t looked. Please give us a call on 01473716418 to find out.”
To add to my annoyance, I’ve also just been advised by you that the remaining item on my order - some V-Tac High Efficiency 6W LED Filament Golfball ES bulbs are now “Out of stock until 13th February 2026” – two-and-a-half weeks!
So… I ordered two items, both flagged as “In Stock | Available for delivery” - neither of them evidently were.
Have you any idea how frustrating this is?
Come on BLT Direct… sort yourselves out.

I recognised that my order had somehow been duplicated. Couldn't figure out how to cancel it, and decided I'd just have to live with the excess lightbulbs. Your resolution of this matter is unexpected and MUCH appreciated.

This order is to replenish my stock of spare 12V G4 LEDs for a ceiling light that has 21 individual luminaires. LEDs do go pop occasionally but nowhere near as bad as the G4 halogen capsules that were originally fitted to this light before converting it with some 12V LED drivers.
Usual good stock availability, service and prompt delivery with BLT.

5*, despite one of my bulbs arriving smashed. Why? Excellent customer service. Instant answer, instant replacement sent, overpackaged to prevent second smash. Two other bulbs arrived just fine. Customer service like this is rare these days - so even a smashed bulb doesn't stop it from being given 5*. Will use again.
