All lecturers are very involved and very willing to assist or repeat any instructions.

Really great variety of activities, lots of amazing practice into getting to know the clinical side of medicine and research side. The staff were supportive and friendly, and I enjoyed the afternoon activities.

Amazing lab learning experience

It was really nice, all the staff were very welcoming and open to any questions. The sessions were very interesting, and I learnt lots of new practical techniques and information. The extra evening activities for DofE students were also really fun, making it easier to meet the other students

They are very welcoming and I had great fun on the course that I did.

The gym provided by the hotel was great.
I learnt about ECG, venepuncture, insertion of cannula and how to plaster cast.

I attended the Biomed course this summer and really enjoyed meeting new people and being taught by lecturers who have a true and evident passion for their subjects. The staff were lovely and made the experience lighthearted and fun!

They hosted an incredible 5-day laboratory course. All the staff and lecturers were friendly, and more than happy to help me during the week. We had a perfect balance of practical activities and theory sessions. 10/10 experience. Thank you.

The lab skills course was amazing. I got the opportunity to live in Liverpool for 5 days completely independently, make strong friendships, build initiative and my lab skills themselves.

This is the second time I have attended course organized by Biograd and it was just as great as last year. Special thanks to our Emergency medicine lector Jamie and the whole Biograd team!

The lectures are completely informative in a sense of simplicity and fun. The practical lessons are also quite interesting, and easy to take them in. Besides, the extracurricular activities are fabulous and extremely interactive. The best thing happened to me is the fact that lecturers and staff were super friendly and I felt a sense of safety and comfort at all times. Personally, I’d say I had such a wonderful week there.

I gained great lab skills whilst on the biomedical course we did many experiments such as ELISA tests and blood typing and the course content was interesting and engaging.

I enjoyed learning new lab skills and being in a proper lab. Also, I enjoyed learning about new topics outside of what I normally would in sixth form.

I attended all three A-Level practical endorsements at BioGrad Education and it was one of the best experiences. I was a little nervous at first but as soon as I entered the laboratory I was made to feel so comfortable and at ease by the lecturer I really enjoyed completing the chemistry practical preparation of benzoic acid crystals and Biology I really enjoyed the dissection of a mammalian heart. I was able to take my time and ask as many questions I wanted which helped me take in as much information. I would highly recommend coming to Liverpool if you’re looking to sit your A-Level Practical Endorsement’s as BioGrad Education really do go above and beyond.

Great skills boot camps! The lecturers are super engaging, informative and passionate about their work. I got to cover techniques I haven’t had a chance to do at university like ELISA and Bradford assays. Would recommend!
