The concept is simple, picture a ski resort, remove the snow and replace the pistes with an array of sweeping flowy bike trails meandering to the bottom of the mountain and you are close. Add a bunch of adrenalin and big sprinkle of fun and you are pretty much there. BikePark Wales is an exhilarating way to spend your day in the Welsh mountains.

Bike park wales first timer experience
The park whilst is well run some of the runs need to be better sign posted as you can very easily end up on a wrong trail especially if your a beginner.. the yellow run to ride up is not easy to follow..
I would say the park is more designed for endurance rather than down hill as many of the trails also include uphill peddling sections

We're glad to hear you found the park well run overall.
As a first-time visitor, we completely understand that navigating a large trail network can take a little getting used to. We do our best to provide clear signage throughout the park, alongside trail maps, information boards and live trail information online, but we'll take your comments on board regarding the climb route and trail junctions 👍
On the pedalling sections, that's very much part of the BPW experience. While many of our trails are gravity-focused, our mountain terrain means some trails naturally include flatter or uphill linking sections. This allows us to create longer, more varied descents and make the most of the available landscape 👊
We appreciate the feedback and hope that, with a bit more familiarity, your next visit will be even smoother.

Had a great day here on Friday, the last time I visited was 11 years ago. It’s definitely even better. Well organised, friendly staff, efficient emergency response team and a great workshop. I can’t fault it and will be back again soon. Thanks BPW team

Not sure why I waited 3 years to come back, had an awesome day! We had hired bikes and each time we.came back with a minor niggle the staff went above and beyond to male sure we were back up sharpish! Great food, great drinks, excellent atmosphere and best of all fantastic and well maintained trails!! We will be back very soon, thank you BPW!

Friday evening session
Just back from a Friday evening session. Been to all 4 so far. Really chilled and relaxed vibe, all the staff are happy and having a laugh. Big thanks to the driver who let us on the last bus at 1 minute past 8 for a final run - total legend.

Smooth operations, but trails a bit worse for wear
The overall operation is very smooth and well put together. Visited several times over the years.
The uplift is efficient and the visitor centre has everything you need.
However many trails are in much worse condition compared to when I’ve visited in previous years. A good handful of the older trails need a complete going over or re-think.

We appreciate your comments on some of the older trails too. Trail maintenance is a constant balancing act across such a large network, and while newer trails naturally benefit from recent construction, we're continually investing time and resources into maintaining and refreshing older favourites as well 👍

Great place
Great place, amazing staff and great trails. One thing could improve is to include video into the must watch and teach people on how to park your vehicle, common sense isn't really used there most of the times and space is just wasted.

Great trails
Great trails, no wait for uplift. It was a very hot day and dusty but everything worked well - even for a 75 year old the reds and blues gave me lots of pleasure

Great day . Great trails ! Lots of attention to detail always goes in to making BPW the best place to ride ! I love well made trails and having the variety of flow , tech and mix makes it possible to have multiple days of exploring lots of different things .
Crashed out on my visit today , and the crew at the medical facility took good care to patch me up so I will stay safe and well !

My favorite place to ride in UK. There is something for everyone. The trails are varied and provide nice progression. The uplift is efficient and i’ve never had to wait very long… The staff are always kind and attentive. Love the vibe and meeting people. Food is pretty good at the cafe too. Bacon roll for breakfast sorted me out nicely.

What can I say that hasn't probably been said before. BPW is an amazing place to ride. Every time we go back there's always a new trail to discover or find an existing trial refreshed. If you haven't been before just book your ticket and go. If I didn't live so far away I'd be riding there a lot more. Mega place.

Plenty of trails for every level of rider been there 4 weekends in a row now still haven't done all the ones I want
The bike shop is well stocked and got me out of trouble when I needed some OEM sram pads
Definitely be returning most probably this weekend

Great day yet again noticed a good amount of track maintenance had been done which was nice. Also looks like a few new ones up and coming. My favourite park even at 3hrs away.

First time to BPW
First time to BPW for us...we really enjoyed Double Barrel and Popty Ping, absolutely awesome flow trails!
The Uplift service just brings a whole new feel to a day's biking...definitely worth the extra. It's going to be hard going back to our local trails and facing the long uphill cycles after this experience :)
All in all a great day out...lots of other trails available to progress to and a good reason to keep coming back.

Just brilliant
Just brilliant, best day's riding this year by far and now my son wants us to move to Wales. Hardly any queuing after the first uplift, trails in great condition, Double Barrel awesome and made up for A470 closure. Legend in the workshop gave us some great advice to help us sort a mechanical. If I had a wish list... on-site EV charging, full sus kids bikes for hire, outside bar open till 5 when it's sunny.
