Quite good
I have to say, i live in germany but still ordered even though is from Australia, the express shipping only took 5 days and the dress was quite good quality. I even received a handwritten note. I would definitely order again if i didn’t live in Germany and wouldn’t have to pay customs (I didn’t pay that much though)😊(i ordered a formal dress btw)

If I could leave 0 I would, the quality of the dress we ordered is terrible- I emailed customer service and tried to give them a chance to fix the problem, 7 days later they still have not helped. I would not buy from this company.
Return policy is misleading
Return policy is misleading. They decide how long they think it’ll take for your package to be returned to their warehouse. No matter how early you start, it won’t make it within their 14 day window, so you’ll only be offered store credit.
And the dress wasn’t that nice either.
Worst customer service experience in my…
Worst customer service experience in my life. Purchased from them. Never received confirmation. Needed to return and couldn’t locate order number because I never received email and there was no invoice in the bag. By the time I received a response back from customer service regarding my order I was told that it was passed the return window for a refund and that would get store credit only. I will never purchase from this company or recommend it to anyone! They do not value their customers!
Zero customer service
Zero customer service. Have contacted at least 5 times and not a single response. Would recommend staying away for this reason alone. Sizing is unreliable.
Security Check
My daughter recently purchased a dress through the website and used her credit card. She is the authorized user and I am the owner of the card. Almost immediately they sent her an email stating there is a security check and to send a screenshot of the transaction as it appears on the online banking statement. If this is not done order will be cancelled. Immediately my concerns for this place kicked into gear and I said no way. However, the transaction still went through. I told them again that this is terrible business practice to ask individuals to send any transaction information via email. The individual still refused to send product unless I give this information or speak over the phone. Now I have no product and they have my money for an additional ten business days. Don't do business here. I think that asking for transaction information of any kind poses a security risk. Doesn't matter how they word it in their policy. Steer clear.

The dress looked nothing like the photo…
The dress looked nothing like the photo and felt and looked cheap. The dress also took forever to get here. When applying for a refund we were told that it must get there within a certain amount of days. This is insane considering it took way longer to get here. I would not recommend this boutique for anybody who lives outside of Australia.

I ordered the Marianne dress and it was absolutely stunning! I purchased from the UK and the shipping to say it was coming from Australia was super quick. The customer service team are also incredible and answered all my questions (re stock/sizing/any other queries).

I placed my order on August 16 and…
I placed my order on August 16 and still do not have my order. As this order was coming from Australia I knew it might be slightly longer but my order is still waiting to clear customs 11 days later. The clothing is very high priced but my daughter really wanted the sweater. I will leave another review once we FINALLY receive this sweater.

Horrible
Horrible. Clothes were terrible quality and they refuse to refund me. The scam is they only offer store credit for returns and don’t tell you until after the fact. They also claim to only give a refund if it’s returned to their warehouse after 14 days of delivery even though it’s completely out of the customers hands on how long it takes to get there. I fell for ordering from this place by a sponsored tiktok ad. Don’t order from this place!!

EXTREMELY LATE SHIPPING, BAD CUSTOMER SERVCIE
I ordered one dress and paid for 5 DAY shipping. It has been three weeks and still in transit, and I am moving from school so I am unable to access my package IF it even gets here. Beginning Boutique is unwilling to resolve this issue by cancelling my order. Terrible customer service and extremely long shipping. DONT bother wasting your money here.

Poor Return Policy on Poorly Made Fashion
Don't be misled by the "Free Returns" policy. You are welcome to return an item, but you will not get reimbursed for the item. They issue you an in-store credit, so you have to spend your money on yet another poorly made item. They don't even offer you the option to reimburse your credit card. If you email them and insist that they credit your card, they will do it, but they charge you a processing and shipping fee for the return, so you end up losing money on your purchase. So their "Easy Returns Process", is really only meant to benefit the company, not the consumer.

Do not buy from this company. It is a SCAM!
I payed $80 plus shipping for a dress my daughter picked out for her birthday. The quality was horrible. Upon trying to return this item and following the steps closely, I am being told my order number is not correct.
I have reached out to customer service for help and have not heard back from them. All the while, the return time is ticking away.

Customer Service Issue
I was excited to order from this site. The jeans were nice quality but didn’t fit. I sent them back within 5 days but the refund option was not available. I wouldn’t mind buying something else but nothing that I liked was available in my size. They said they would put a note on my account about this. I checked in to see if the item was received and they told me it hadn’t been and to check with the post office. I checked the tracking and the item had been received. I got back on chat to let her know this only to discover I was blocked from the chat. 🥲
Bad quality, sizing and experience
I’ve purchased from beginning boutique two times. The first time I purchased I ordered 3 dresses, I ordered 1 in my normal size and the other 2 I sized up… when I received them the 2 I sized up in fit perfectly but after going through the wash (gentle wash) they were stretched and way too big to wear, the dress I ordered in my size was so short if I took a step my whole cheek would be out!
I thought it could be a one off so I decided to order again - 3 dresses, a size 12, (I normally size between a 12-14) a size 14 and a size 16 (the reviews on this dress stated to size up as it was small sizing) funny enough the size 12 dress fit me perfectly, the size 14 dress was huge and couldn’t wear it cause it was so booby that everything would fall out if I bent over… and the size 16 dress was so tight I was scared the zipper was going to break, the arms/shoulders were so tight but the sleeves were incredibly long but the length of the dress was fine? This dress is SO see through. The dress is so oddly shaped/fit and I have seen reviews that said the same after purchasing.
Not to mention the quality of all the items I have brought have been very underwhelming
I ended up leaving reviews on these and had a email regarding my reviews, I basically replied with the same thing as what my reviews stated (weird sizing etc) and the email response was along the lines of “don’t go by the sizing chart we have as it’s not accurate”…. So why tf would you have a sizing guide up if it’s not accurate? They instead told me that I should go by the measurements on each item because the site has different brands and they don’t all measure the same which makes no sense seeing as the sizing chart is the same chart on every item?
Anyway I didn’t bother replying as they went on about reaching out to them for sizing information on items but what an inconvenience to have to email a brand for sizing information on items you want to buy?
The email definitely put me off shopping from here again and I have had the same response from other friends, colleagues and family members who have had the same issue with beginning boutique sizing a quality in their items.
Won’t be shopping here again, which is pretty crap as I like the look of some of the items they sell, but the quality, sizing and customer service has definitely put me off wasting my money here.
I wish I left this review after I had the issue the first time.
