The t-shirts are super soft! I have nothing bad to say, and as a plus the 'Chat Help' on the site is always perfect, and everyone is super sweet, you can ask them anything!

A return shipping fee of $14 is absolutely ridiculous. Especially with having a 14 day return policy. It doesn’t cost anything to send the label as it’s automatically sent via email. I definitely wouldn’t have placed another order if I knew the return fee was so high as I’m trying to find a bridal dress that fits nicely and trying to support small.

I'm genuinely sorry that our return shipping fee was a source of disappointment. We aim to be completely transparent about this, and it's detailed in our return policy on our website, available for review before any purchase. This fee helps us cover part of the cost of the return shipping label and the necessary handling involved (nothing to do with the way it is sent).
Just to clarify, our 14-day return window starts from the day your order is delivered. As our return hub is located in California, the timeframe for returns primarily depends on domestic shipping within the US.

Complex and difficult returns
We ordered two dresses for my daughter last week because we were not sure about the fit. After we decided to keep one, we tried to return the other promptly following all steps on the website. We were offered a store credit which goes against return policy. This return is well within the 14 day guideline. This is bad business and I will not order from this company again.

Complex refund process
Update: I phoned BB's Australian number and was told that my emails were going to spam. I was told that I did not make a refund request but the amount was still refunded. It makes no sense why you have to email to request a refund ahead of time, seems unnecessarily complex.
I returned almost $500.00 worth of clothes from Beginning Boutique but despite requesting a refund, the balance was loaded onto a gift card. I have tried contacting Beginning Boutique to reverse this balance and refund the amount to my method of payment, but have not had any response from Beginning Boutique for 3 days. I followed all of BB's policies, including the items being in resalable condition and returning the items within the specified timeframe, but I have had NO CONTACT from BB to process this return as a refund. This is in breach of the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, where businesses must refund you in the same method of payment that you used to pay for the order when you make a return. I will be willing to change this review if this is resolved within 48 hours.

Thanks for leaving a review, and I'm sorry that you are disappointed by this process.
Each store has their own processes and policies put into place and it is the customers responsibility to ensure that these are read, understood and followed.
At no point have we denied you a refund, our policy simply states the following -
"Refunds are offered on all orders received back to us within 14 days of your delivery date and must be requested via Email, otherwise our default resolution of store credit (gift card) will be issued."
I can confirm that a refund has been processed now back to your original payment as your return did meet the terms of our policy.

Horrible Experience
Horrible Experience! First they tried to charge me an additional $30 for "customs" fees, then when I refused to pay/tried to cancel my order the customer service was horrible - the girls were rude and the cherry on top is that they tried to refund me via gift card! as if i'd ever shop there again.
As well they only returned me half my money ($55 out of $118)
Don't shop here unless you want to be treated as subclass and ripped off.

The dress is exactly as expected. With thick sturdy fabric too! Impressed. As lots of boutique stores advertise gorgeously made dresses, and give you cheap fabric. However my dress is lovely!
