I live in South Carolina, and purchased a Lithium battery for my motorcycle. The battery has a 3 year warranty. I went home hooked the battery up correctly and rode it for about a week. I came home from work and got about a half a mile from the house and started smelling something funny. At a quarter of a mile I saw smoke coming from the battery compartment. When I got in the driveway the smoke was really coming out. The battery had exploded and melted inside the compartment. I took my bike to a mechanic and he said the problem was the battery. I took the battery back and said I have a defective battery, and showed the young man how my battery was melted. The young man on the counter without hesitation or reservation said the battery was not defective. They would not honor the warranty or replace the battery. I had the receipt where I had purchased it the week prior. It clearly said the warranty was good until 05/16/2025.Do not buy a battery from these folks!

I want to thank Batteries Plus for forcing me to use my brain. I stopped in their Weatherford TX store for a battery for my car's key FOB. The store clerk said it would cost $21 for me to purchase the battery and have them install it. That seemed pretty expensive for a $2.50 battery. I asked if he could just show me how to open the FOB and I would do it myself. Nope. I was told that if he verbally told me "the secret" to opening it that it would be a $10 charge plus the battery. I guess that's why they call it Batteries Plus. At any rate, I went to my local Walmart, paid $5 for a 2pack of batteries, watched a YouTube video and learned another reason why our country is crumbling from within. And remember to think for yourself. Otherwise, you're part of the problem.

The Lifetime Watch Battery replacement program, while it sounds like a great idea, is NOT! They replace the battery with batteries that last at most 3 months.

Purchased a motorcycle battery online to be picked up at Batteries Plus store, 4774 Beechnut St, Houston, TX 77096. My credit card was charged $113.11 when the online purchase made, with a credit ($10.00) to be received when the original battery core was provided to the store. Picked up the new battery at the store and provided the core a couple of days later. Was then provided a receipt for $102.29 and told the battery core credit would be credited to my credit card. After 7 days the credit was not received. I spoke with the store, and was told not their problem - contact my credit card company. I would not do business with this Batteries Plus store again.

If i could leave 0 stars i would. My experience with the owner of the store was horrible.
I came in with a warranty issue on a very expensive battery i bought 2 years ago. It has a 4 year replacement warranty. I had charged the battery for a week and the amps were about half what it should be.
When i brought the battery in the owner tested it on his "special" meter, it showed 12 volts. He then said "your battery is good" i told him it should read 1100 amps and it is half of that. ( his meter showed a couple of dots where the amp reading should be). I then got my meter out of my car and showed him the issue. He stated that "only his special meter could measure the amps on that particular battery " i knew that was not correct and told him so. He got very rude with me.
I then took him over to an identical brand new battery and showed him that my meter read 1050 amps. He would not accept that my meter was right.
He then said " ill warranty the battery just to get you out of my store" He was obviously embarrassed because he (the battery expert) doesnt know much about amp meters. However he claimed he could not find my account in his computer and told me i had to have the original receipt. I had a business account so i did not believe him. But there was nothing else i could do but leave dissatisfied.
The rude and disrespectful way this guy spoke to me is unacceptable. I never cussed, yelled, or raised my voice to him. I disagreed with him because he was wrong. But i was always respectful and maintained my cool.
Not only are the "best" batteries these folks sell a joke, but they do not warranty their product. Worse yet, the battery expert is a joke and only cares about taking your money. There is no customer service here!!

We had them rebuild 4 cordless tool batteries over the past several years. In each instance the batteries died in short order. Long story short, the spot welds were detaching. After having to pay for the repairs (oops...out of warranty), we've taken to opening up the dead units and soldering the terminals.

Delightful place here in Eugene. Taught me a whole lot, diagnosed my iPhone ailment and performed successful surgery. Great service, helpful info and quality products , all in this odd but very needed niche. Impressed!! Shout out to Jacob..

I purchased a motorcycle battery in September 2021. The battery would not keep a charge. I finally diagnosed the positive terminal would not stay tight.

I took the battery back and this is my recollection of my terrible customer service.

I tried to explain to the technician that the battery terminal post would not stay tight
I was inconvenienced that the battery had to be tested. The technician tested the battery
I tried to explain that the problem was that the terminal connection would not tighten up.

Then I got these excuses. The terminal is not part of the battery and not under warranty. The battery will charge up on charger so I was in my on.

Then I got I the old you mr customer over tightened the battery connection. Your problem. I did not buy that argument.

Another tech told me over phone that he would look at the battery. I received a call the next day that a better screw was put in the terminal and that the battery was ok.
I picked up battery and did not check the technicians work. Shame on me. I went to put te battery in my MC today the terminal connection was worse.

Poor customer service and blaming me for messing up the terminal connection is why I am writing this negative review.

I brought my iPhone 12 mini in to have the charging port repaired. I was told that the part will need to be replaced. It was to be a one day job that turned into a six day ordeal. The wrong charging port was ordered initially and then I was told each day I was to pick up the phone to come back the next day. After 3 days I was told my screen was damaged by the staff and needed to be replaced as well. After 6 days I get the phone back with a cheap knock off screen that is poor quality compared to apple hardware. No apology or even acknowledgement for the horrible screen they gave me after breaking mine. Nothing was wrong with my factory screen. The phone was 14 months old when I brought it in.

Took key fob for Chrysler Pacifica for battery replacement on Fletcher Ave in Tampa. Guy walks around corner, comes back and says battery was bad and replaced it. I did not tell him to replace it, he just replaced it.
I paid $22 plus tax for 1 battery, CR2032.
I was suspicious, took FOB apart at home and tested it. Nearly dead in the red. MuRata made in Indonesia.
Maybe I got a bad battery and he didn’t know it.
Just bought 4 CR2032 on Amazon for $5.
Guy tells me I have replacement for life and should be changed in 1 year. The original battery from vehicle purchased new lasted 4 years.

Bought battery in January 2022 was given rebate form filled out online on the 6th. Today March 2nd 2022 called to find out about rebate was told Duracell we bought was no eligible. Yes it was on .. same on them guess someone needed my rebate money more than me. Beyond pissed!

rating is a -100. stuck in the middle of nowhere and I have a full replacement warranty car was park in garage and it test borderline. so they say another person said battery had to test below a which my battery tested 11. was told by another that I took battery in frozen. I think not run to not walk out of this place why have warranty if you never honor them. I am from AZ and now stranded in the middle of North Dakota. with no battery. The worst people on the face of the earth. what a joke.

I f I could give them a 0 I would I went in for a front glass replacement on my i phone and the tech said he could do it . When i went back to pick up my phone the glass was broken in several places and the phone was dead and would not turn on I lost all my info on it . Bunch of hacks.

I've been using this company for all kinds of batteries for years, and they are consistently good to work with. Most items are in stock in their stores, and they offer discounts on internet orders that you pick up from the store.

Selection is very good, and the staff are quite knowledgeable and helpful. Sometimes the store can be crowded, and one has to wait a few minutes for help.

They also install car batteries and watch batteries for free. What's not to like?

The store in Garland TX would not honor car battery warranty. Kept telling us our battery was out of warranty. We 8 months of warranty left. They screwed battery up when they installed it at Rockwall store and said it was our fault. No work has been done on vehicle except to change oil and fuel filter. Do not buy from them. They will only make excuses and anger you.

They sell defective merchandise that is nonfunctional. LED MIN11976 Ultra Last Miniature LED Light Bulb 2 Pack for $19.99 is supposed to be a 22 year life, or 25000 hours, instead my wonderful $40.00 purchase of 4 tiny bulbs lasted 8 months for less than 200 hours. The original pendant lights lasted 4 years - so that paints the picture of the junk they sell here.
Don't go into this store, don't purchase anything from them, don't listen to their spurious lies, and most of all don't try to get them to honor the warranty on the package - they won't. Which means they are liars, cheaters, and thieves, taking your money and giving you nothing. They tried to give me the same exact crap A** bulb that doesn't work and they refused to refund my money. So I highly recommend you not deal with these creeps - put them out of business. Bye bye to poor products and poor customer service. Who needs this kind of treatment? NO ONE!

Great place installed my Mercedes battery for free.. dealership wanted 2 hours labor. .like 300 bucks.. lol

Tried to replace a car battery I purchased 18 Months prior. Management would not honor the Warranty. Incredibly rude. Terrible Customer Service. Stay away from Batteries +
