Had an awful experience with Batteries…
Had an awful experience with Batteries Plus. Purchased a motorcycle battery a month ago, left the bike untouched for a few weeks, and when I tried starting it, the battery was completely dead. Connected it to my battery tender, which had worked flawlessly for five previous batteries and 15 winters. Shockingly, the "fine print" in the warranty prevented a replacement, claiming that charging the battery voided it. This has never occurred before. I strongly advise avoiding this store and seeking batteries elsewhere. Regrettably, after buying four other motorcycle batteries from Batteries Plus, they've lost a loyal customer.

I bought a motorcycle battery in August…
I bought a motorcycle battery in August of 2021. It went out last week so I called today about seeing if it was still under warranty. Turns out it has a 2 year warranty, so I am just under the wire. On my way to get a new battery, I called to find out how, and if, they would pro-rate my old battery under the warranty. I was told they would in fact replace my battery if circumstances warranted. I asked them to explain that statement to me and I was told that they have to take my old battery and charge it completely, and if it did not charge to 12 volts, and hold the charge, they could not warranty my battery because it would be a "bad battery," to which I replied that is exactly why it needs to be replaced because it is bad and will not take or hold a charge. I was again informed that they would not warranty a "bad battery." Thinking to myself I must have certainly got a sadly mis-informed person working at the Baton Rouge store, I hung up and called the D'Iberville, Mississippi store and was told almost the exact same thing, they do not warranty "bad batteries." When I arrived at the Baton Rouge store two ladies were entering ahead of me and I informed them of the apparent so-called "warranty" from batteries plus and their response to me was, well what is the warranty for if they don't replace it when it's bad. I replied that I had no clue, was first time in my almost 61 years of living and purchasing and warranting batteries that I had ever heard of such a policy. the two ladies turned and left. buyer beware!!!!!
BUYER BEWARE
On News Years day 2023, I purchased a battery for my 2008 Mustang. On June 2nd, the battery stopped working. I had AAA come jump and test it. Their test said it was a failed battery, I went to Auto Zone they said the same thing. The battery had full replacement for two years.
I went there and they said they had to do their own test. They took out the same machine as Auto Zone and did they same test. Their test said the battery failed and it had a zero charge. I drove after getting it jumped.
They said they could do nothing because they would need to see if it could hold a charge and that I should get a ride home or get someone to jump it take it home and bring the battery back so they could test for a charge.
I said I was not leaving and would see if NTB could sell me one. The clerk walked back in and about 10 minutes later he comes back out asking what I was doing. I told him I cannot jump the car and it would have to remain there until I get AAA back out. The spot was right in front of their store. I said they were backed up and it may be until tonight.
I proceeded to call customer care and they were equally of no help. They said they had to ensure the drain was not causes because I did not a place a battery charger on my battery. I know very few people who do this on a regular basis.
They suggested to buy a new battery off the store and forget about the issue.
I said no and said I would contact the attorney general.
As I reapproached the store(I went in to a cooler place to make the call) I noticed the employee again at my car. He then offered to remove the battery and put it on his charger but that would take 6 hours well past closing. I said fine and told him I will wait throughout the night.
They got the battery out and noticed I was in the store chatting up with other the two other people in this store. Fearful, I would warn them about this place, the person says we will just replace the battery and figure out what to do next.
Of course, there was nothing to do besides a warranty exchange. They just wanted to sell a new battery because the store is always desolate. In fact AAA never heard of Batteries Plus.
Though the situation was dealt with it took nearly 60 minutes just to get them to agree.
When buying a battery stick to autozone, oreillys, advance..... They will always honor their warranty.

Do not EVER take your watch here for a battery replacement. Just took in my wife’s expensive Bulova watch for a battery. The “tech” said he had trouble getting the back off and had to use tools not designed for watches. Not only did he end up severely scratching the back of the watch, but then he said he could not get the back to snap into place again and gave it to me in two pieces. He blamed it on the design of the watch. This is not a cheap Timex, but a pricey Bulova! He said I could take it to a jeweler 30 miles away to see if they could get the back on and would not cover any cost for the repair. I would post photos, but this review does not allow that. I now have a watch that has greatly decreased in value because of the damage, and can no longer use it without a back. He never even apologized.
Don’t send your Wife!
Sent my wife there because I knew they would have a Car Starter Battery & might even help her change it. They not only sold her the $.50 battery, they also sold her on the idea that for a low low price of $21 it could be warranted for life.

Today May 9th 2023 I bought a 12-pack of 9volts batteries with an expected 5 year battery life as indicated on the package. BatteryPlus Pineville NC store sold me this package with 3 years of battery life left on them. Big time deceiving to say the least.
Bought 6 6v batteries for my golf cart…
Bought 6 6v batteries for my golf cart that were advertised as 215Ah for $144.95 each. Once I picked up the batteries and drove the 1-1/2 to put batteries in golf cart, I realized that these were only 210Ah not 215Ah. Checked my receipt, and website to make sure I wasn't given the wrong ones. Nope, part numbers matched. So they are advertising a 215Ah battery but giving you a 210Ah one instead. Doesn't sound like much, but Ah rating are how batteries are priced. Imaging paying for High grade gas, but getting low grade. Sure, it will work but you paid for a better product and got a lesser one instead. BAD BUSINESS PRACTICE. Won't be going back!

Took my working phone in for a cracked repair. Went on a Sunday, they didn't have the part in stock and said they would have it in Tuesday. Got a call On Tuesday, they had the part in. Took phone in, it was working perfectly fine, cracked screen yes.
Spent two hours there waiting. One guy working in the store and when a someone else walked in, he went and helped them to make sales, leavining my phone in the process. Said. repairs take second place, as they may take an hour. so like 10 or more people walked in and my service kept being left for sales above all.
Lpw and behold, I get told the screen they took 2 days to get in was wrong. Mind you, as soon as this person opend the phone excuses began.
So after 2 hours, I was told the new part wasnt correct, and that they would overnight the new part again. Oh yea by the way, the display now didn't come up...bad eeling here. They kept it overnight so no phone. Got and email the next day staing, oh we replaced 3 new screens on your device and it is unfixable and now the logic board is damaged and I need to contact the insurance company for a replacement device. They handed my phone back to me totally useless. I mean the phone was working fine except for the cracks and now the display no longer functions as a result of their repair of a cracked screen???!!
Never take a phone there. Never buy anyting there.

I purchased a lithium battery ($120) 12/1/2021 (order 46405480). It is supposed to have a 36 month replacement warranty and at month 16 it is 100% dead and won’t take a charge. Bring it to the store to have them repair or replace and they keep it for two weeks w/o calling me. Then they say they can’t charge it so they will not honor the warranty. How does this make sense? I have a battery that won’t charge (zero physical damage) and ask for them to honor their warranty as it is obviously defective. They said they can charge it and therefore can’t test it so it voids the warranty. I have made several calls to corporate who just say they are waiting on the store manager to respond. They sell inferior products, do not honor their warranties, have poor customer service, and do not return calls. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

Thankfully a neighbor helped in getting it running at which time I headed to Batteries Plus on Commerce Dr. Tim was the gentlemen who found that the battery was under warranty, changed to a new one & I was on my way. I want to pass on my thanks & appreciation to Tim for his wonderful customer service, kind deamenor & getting me back on the road. Tim should be acknowledged for his diagnosing a bad battery, verifying with his Manager the appropriate steps in replacing the battery at no charge. I am grateful for the wonderful service Tim provided.

I needed a new battery charger for my wheelchair. I needed it for work on Friday. I ordered one on Tuesday and paid for overnight shipping. The product did not arrive on Wednesday, so I called on Thursday. The call taker said she didn't know what had happened, but that UPS would be delivering it by 7:00 pm on Friday. I told her this was unacceptable and asked why I had paid for overnight shipping if it wasn't going to get to me overnight. She told me she would email me the UPS tracking number so I could contact UPS directly to see what they could do. She also told me she would have someone from a shipping quality control office to discuss what had happened. Neither thing happened so I called back today to complain. I explained my situation and ended up with the same call taker. She never apologized for not following through on what she said she would do. In the meantime, I had to order a new charger from a local company that luckily had the charger I needed. it cost me $30 more, but I needed it so I could work today. I canceled my other order. I told the call taker I was not happy with the service or the fact that she didn't follow through on what she said she would do. Again, no apology. Needless to day I will not be using this company again.

Batteries Plus Bulbs #199 is by far the best store with the best customer service in the U.S.A. I would recommend anyone seeking qualified professional salespeople with impeccable customer service skills to visit Batteries Plus Bulbs #199. I have been visiting this store for years and every time I feel appreciated and welcome by the entire team. I currently live in GA. When my batteries stop working, I wait until I visit VA to take my watches to this store to get my watch batteries replace with their life-time battery policy. And I have about 7 watches listed in their system for life-time battery replacement. It doesn't matter for me; I will drive hours to get my watches service at this location. Not only is their customer service great but the way they take care of your merchandise is commendable. They treat my watches as if it was their own. If I were starting a business, I would hire this incredible staff. They are the blueprint of what customer service is all about. I would like to thank FHAIR and the entire team for all they do. Your store and your team are by fair "best in class" in customer service, customer appreciation, kindness, and respect. Thanks for all you do and thanks for making me feel appreciated. Used an rv battery for about 6 months…
Used an rv battery for about 6 months in our camper that charges automatically. Spent the winter in a warm room in the basement. It would not take a charge. Store said it showed 2 volts and would not honor “full warranty.” Offered $20 off a new battery, but refused to replace it.
Bait and switch!
Called for a price on an iPhone battery. Was quoted about $30 for the battery but when I went to pick it up, (10 miles), they said it would be $70 as they had to do the installation. That is NOT what they told me over the phone. Needless to say, I bought a battery from iFixit and drove 20 miles for nothing. I will never enter their stores again.

Purchased batteries on line for store pickup. Realized I was given the wrong batteries when they wouldn't fit my device. Wausau store would not exchange or credit me even after showing the purchase order on my phone was for the correct batteries. I will be happy to share my story at every opportunity
Warranty?
I purchased defective Marine Gp. 24 battery 07/22. After minimal use it would not charge to more than 9 bolts. A load test confirmed a bad cell. The retail franchise confirmed that. I was informed that a 24 to 48 hour charge would be required after which I would be offered a replacement at the original price. I am taking my business elsewhere.
