I stumbled across this shop while walking with a friend in Melbourne back in 1997... I went in with my 'F' cups wearing a Berlei Bra and said, 'you will have nothing in here to fit me!'
Brenda, the owner, then came over to me with heaps of beautiful, trendy, thin-strapped bras!! And I was sold. But the only problem was, I had no money or credit card on me to buy anything!
However, from then until this day for the past 18 years, I have bought all of my lingerie and swimwear from this fun-loving shop. Even boyfriends are made welcome when shopping for presents, because the girls know our size (such a personal touch).

I wanted to buy underwear recently that was unavailable in Australia. I contacted Bare Necessities in the UK as I had bought this brand at another lingerie shop on a UK visit previously. This shop had gone out of business so I couldn't have been more pleased to find Bare Necessities and to hear that they were very happy to help. Several emails went back and forth with helpful comments, pictures etc being sent to me to help with my choice and nothing was too much trouble. They were not only helpful but extremely courteous. This is amazing in this day and age! I then purchased several bras which were posted to Australia and arrived very quickly. The service was amazing and I am very happy and would recommend this company to anyone without hesitation after this excellent experience. I will do business with them again either on UK visits or online.

Having recently experienced some appalling levels of service from large companies, it is an absolute joy to find a business who know how to look after their customers.
Bare Necessities offer a pleasant, prompt delivery of excellent lingerie and swimwear and stand head and shoulders above many other online retailers.
I have bought from them on more than one occasion and will continue to do so.

I'm a new customer to Bare Necessities and cannot believe their service. I ordered on-line late on Thursday evening, received a confirmation email on Friday morning, goods arrived first thing Saturday morning. Incredible service.

I have bought lingerie from Bare Necessities for several years now: their range is excellent, the service is fantastic, the packaging lovely and delivery quick. I just wish I could get to the shop but live too far away. Bare Necessities is the only company from whom I will buy lingerie online. What an absolute joy to find such an impressive on-line service as that offered by Barenecessities. I have recently made several purchases and was very impressed with not only the prompt service but the polite note that accompanied my purchases. It made on-line shopping not quite so impersonal and also made me, the customer, feel valued. Unfortunately I had to return a couple of purchases but the service was equally prompt and polite, with a refund into my bank account on the day the goods were received back by the company . . . unheard of these days. I have been buying online from Bare Necessities for about seven years now. Brenda and her team are very helpful and they provide an excellent online service, their prices are the Recommended Retail Price, and they sell quality brands. My underwear is the Prima Donna range and I have been able to buy confidently online knowing that it will fit me. That said, whenever I have wondered about buying a new range, Brenda and her staff have been very knowledgeable, providing honest advice regarding the products. I have also been able to place special orders (which are non-returnable but that's OK by me) and they have always been able to fulfill my order. Bare Necessities was a great find and I never even contemplate using anyone else!

I am a regular shopper of barenecessities both instore and online. The customer service I receive is always excellent and the girls are really knowledgable about the products. The quality and variety of products is excellent making it worth spending that extra bit. The girls in the shop give you time and honest advice aswell as an excellent fitting service, making the whole experience personal and extra special. When I order online items are always very neatly packaged and arrive promptly. Nothing is ever too much trouble for Brenda and the girls, I really can not fault the service I have received over the years.

I discovered this company several years ago. Since that I have never bought any bra from any other store. Great selection of my favorite Prima Donna, best prices and super fast shipping. I have big experience with online shopping, but have never met such outstanding service.
I live in New York and get my order within couple of days. But, the most important thing- the people working at Bare necessities. They answer any question, give advice, help to choose the right bra, If I need a style or color from the collection that is not listed, they order it for me from the company. They make you feel very special and treat you as a VIP.

I have been using Barenecessities for over ten years. The service is excellent all the staff are knowledgeable, friendly and remember your likes and dislikes. Being a larger lady it's nice to be able to find pretty, attractive underwear that fits comfortably. My daughters now have their underwear fitted by Barenecesities. "Bare Necessities" sell quality items coupled with quality, genuine excellent, quick service. A rare find these days. I have no desire to shop anywhere else.

I love Prima Donna and Empreinte lingerie which I've bought from Bare Necessities for some time and have never had any concerns even when I mentioned that what I was buying was for me (so-called-man). There's great communication about the likely delivery date, no problems sending to countries other than UK and parcels are always well packaged and sent quickly. If there was an item shown in a catalogue but not in stock Brenda or Sue went out of their way to get me one as quickly as possible.

With Prima Donnas 2015 range just advertised I hope to buy more bras in the coming months. Id unreservedly recommend Bare Necessities.

I ordered a set of Prima Donna underwear. I was phoned the same day to discuss the order. It arrived next morning by Royal Mail delivery. The underwear is lovely and the price very attractive. I would definitely use Bare Necessities again.

I was looking for some swimwear late in the season and visited the Bare necessities shop. There were lots of lovely things but not much left in my cup size. I tried on some swimwear and liked one but could not decide so did not purchase. The service I received was excellent, the shop assistants were helpful and knowledgable. After a couple weeks I decided to buy one of the bikinis I had tried on and I contacted the shop by phone. They had all the details on what I had tried on and sent it to me that day. I am very pleased with my purchase and will certainly shop with them again.

I rang on the off chance having seen their website and was really impressed by the level of service and after service too. I described my shape and gave my measurements to Linda and she picked out bras to send to me to try. I have a very full figure so I was delighted that every one of them fitted to a T and that the selection was so good. She took time to find out what occasions my bras were for and the selection she sent really fitted the bill for work, seduction and general femininity. I had no idea I could get matching knickers in my size - so these are now on their way as well. Very impressed I just wish I could have gone to their shop but I will definitely be ordering again.
