Outstanding customer service
I recently bought an avtex AV249TS tv and sound bar from Prima leisure, unfortunately it arrived damaged, due to being crushed by the carrier. Instead of going back to Prima, I rang Avtex direct to see if they could help, spoke to the sales manager, Craig Vardon, wow, couldn't wish to speak to a nicer person. No problem he said, we'll send you out a replacement and arrange to pick up the damaged tv. Unfortunately this also arrived crushed, by the same courier. Rang Avtex again, spoke to Craig again, no problem he said, we'll courier you one out overnight with a different courier. This one arrived intact. What a great company! with special thanks to Craig Vardon.

Poor Long Term Reliability &…
Poor Long Term Reliability & Indifferent Customer Service.
Purchased two Satellite Ready TV/DVD's for our boat.
All good to begin with, but both developed significant faults and stopped working correctly (if at all) within six months of warranty expiring.
Customer service were at best indifferent and stated that it was probably the mother board failing and not really worth repairing - better off just buying a (very expensive) replacement from them!
Have now purchased Cello TV/DVD's to replace them both - Same warranty with similar features and cost only a fraction of an equivalent Avtex model.
All good so far and if they fail, only a fraction of the Avtex cost to replace.
Avtex were the premium product when we purchased them, but other brands have now virtually caught up - at a fraction of the price - so worth shopping around.

I phoned to ask about my tv which will no longer play DVDs. When I gave the model number to someone called Craig he cut me short saying that model is out of date and can't be repaired and then said "Alright ". Admittedly it is an old (about 15 years) set but call that customer service? I don't.

Fantastic service and communication from Craig this week with advice on the soundbar to go with our existing Avtex TV Sent a bracket separately in case it wasn’t in the box bought from a 3rd party. So easy to set up, great sound and looks great attached to bottom of tv. Appreciated the support
Perfect customer service
Had an issue with my avtex AV249TS which I've had about 6 months. When plugging it back into my campervan the tv would no longer stay on more than a couple of seconds. I reported the issue to avtex customer service who promptly sorted out a collection and repair all of which has taken less than a week and done under warranty. Amazing customer service!
Fantastic Service
Tried to speak to Falcon for over two hours to buy a new TV, (5 calls made, each time promised to phone back as they where busy) gave up in the end. So I thought on the off chance and I'd phone Avtex about a possible repair on my old TV combo. Instant pick up on the phone by "Slade" in repairs, great service and advice, Slade said "we can repair your old one". He was also great in the way we had a general conversation about caravan TV's and options and Tech etc... This was Monday around 14:00, Slade arrange Royal Mail to collect my TV on the Tuesday, and I received it back via Royal mail, today.. on the Friday. New DVD player fitted, new aerial socket fitted, upgraded software installed, total price including all courier arrangements made via Avtex, £116. Fantastic Service and price that saved me from spending near on £400 with Falcon for a new, but inferior TV, coupled with appalling time wasting service. Well done Avtex, and a personal thanks to Slade.
Fantastic customer support
I already have one Avtex TV in my motorhome and a second poor quality equivalent. So I decided to buy a second Avtex because the one I have is so good.
I picked one from an approved Avtex seller on EBay but mistakenly purchased the wrong size.
I called Avtex direct and spoke to Craig who sorted the whole problem out in seconds and arranged delivery of the core sized screen in time for me to go away I. 3 days time.
What a terrific service from this amazing company. Thank you very much and I am def brand loyal to Avtex now.
First Class Support
I have to say that your customer support must the envy of the commercial world.
I telephoned Monday and after trying a couple of tests that you suggested was told that my TV would be collected from my home address the next day.
Parcel Force collected it Tuesday and you must have received it on Wednesday, promptly fixed it and shipped it back to me.
So today, Thursday, Parcel Force bring the TV back to me and its back in my Motorhome installed and working.

Bought the new AV270TS and Soundbar to…
Bought the new AV270TS and Soundbar to go with it! Stunning picture quality, and the soundbar improves the sound quality so much. The TV is so thin, it looks amazing. But the speakers in them must be small due to the thinness of it, (like my TV at home is 55'' and it still needs a soundbar because the TV is so thin).
The customer service I received from the sales line was top notch, the guy listened to all my questions and gave honest, sound advice.
These used to be more expensive than other TV's for similar use, but now not so much and you certainly get quality! Roll on the holiday season!!
Not worth the money
After buying what is the most expensive 12v tv available it’s very disappointing to find the sound is restricted to save power, I believe I should decide if there’s enough power not a setting that’s factory installed to prevent you hearing the tv, not fit for purpose and will be looking at something that works how I want it to as a replacement.
Recently bought a avtex smart tv
Recently bought a avtex smart tv , i must admit a bit pricy but u only get what u pay for like most things in life , great tv and connects no problem to your i phone hot spot sharing the internet on your phone is great , was bit hard to get settings right to do this but eventually all is successful , there is a few reviews saying it does not connect to i phones but this is not the case certainly connected to my hot spot on i phone pro plus no problem so can now get all free films etc now going to buy a second smaller one for bedroom , even know they are bit on pricy side tbf you can buy a cello which is cheaper but had one few year back and volume was not great , but could be better now cello was ok too , but im converted to avtex guys
Dont bother
Dont bother , they do not support the right to repair, they dont answer e mails, total waste of time, have a look at Cello TV sets, they support TV repair shops.

I bought the Avtex tv four months ago . It’s a fabulous addition to my camper , easily connects to blue tooth for headphone use and sound and picture are top quality . I highly recommend this product , price is very affordable and quality of product is exceptional . 10out of ten ! John Cooper

Amazing customer service
Amazing customer service. My 32 inch Avtex TV developed a fault on its digital tuner (very rare for this to happen). Spoke with the customer service department and a collection was arranged and a few days later TV all sorted and returned. Just a brilliant company with traditional caring customer service

What fantastic customer service from Avtex. Replaced a missing remote control without hesitation or questions, I received 2 the very next day and they even included batteries. If only all customer services were as excellent as this!! Thank Avtex.
TV corrupted my Oyster V
I was unhappy with the over complexity of the current TV in my Motorhome. I spoke with the Avtex Team at the Newark Motorhome Show who shared the details of the latest model. I was impressed and made a purchase. Spent the afternoon changing the wiring loom to connect the new TV to my digital antenna and Oyster V dish. Setting up was not as easy as I expected. I scanned the QR Code thinking I could set everything up from my iPad. It seems that it’s nothing but a drive to get you to install the app it does not go through the setup, it stops after the App is running.
Once up and running it was a disaster, it did very strange things to my Oyster V making it go up and retract when you change channel. Spent time with Avtex technical support who advised it was a known issue and would need an update via a USB, they would email me the update.
My thoughts to that were NO I spoke with the company who sold it and they have agreed to accept it as a return. Spent the next 3 hours swapping back. On connecting the original the Oyster V would not work. Spent 90 minutes with Oyster to reset everything. So almost a complete day wasted.
If you have an Oyster dish, don’t near Avtex would my advice and save you the grief I have gone through.
